A wire-to-wire win for the Rams that looked a lot like how they were supposed to look, even with injuries.

L.A. is 3-4 with a chance to get to .500 against the winless Chargers next week.

Matthew Stafford is now the all-time leader in passing TDs in both #Lions history (282) and #Rams history (155 and counting).

He’s the first player ever to hold the career TD-pass record for 2 franchises.

1st half was beautiful 2nd half this Rams team has reverted to the trash we’ve seen the last couple weeks

Defense, despite getting a little soft towards the end, was better. More aggressive.

Feel so much better after that. There weren’t real signs of life and the ability to play complementary football in the most important moments prior to today. Flashes, but nothing real.

But THAT, for the most part, looked like the Rams I know. Season is still alive with the Chargers, Commanders, and a revenge game against the Cardinals on the horizon.

This team still has it. But there’s still so much room to improve.

    Nate Atkins, from https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7723992/2026/10/25/rams-raiders-nfl-week-7-result-takeaways/?unlocked_article_code=1.LVE.jP2Y.PFTAzTMinIo1&source=emp_shared_article&smid=ta-ios-share

This week felt like a mix of urgency and calm on offense. Sean McVay and Stafford stressed the importance of calm leadership as they tried to pull out of a rut and one of the worst offensive games they’ve played in years last week against the Arizona Cardinals.

That calm then seemed to set the foundation for this week’s attack. The Rams were as balanced as they’ve been in any game, running 38 times to 30 dropbacks and splitting it perfectly between Corum and Williams, who combined for 192 rushing yards on 5.8 yards per carry. They built play-action off that ground game and kept Stafford in safe and smart throws to build a clear rhythm en route to finishing 23-of-29. They ran the offense through plays to Nacua in space and used tight ends and backs as complementary pieces to cover for the loss of Davante Adams.

The Rams had lacked offensive identity this season, but this was the closest they’ve looked to last year’s balanced juggernaut that led the NFL in scoring. — Nate Atkins, Rams reporter

This might be the best game the Rams defense has played so far. Not many splash plays, as to be somewhat expected without Myles Garrett and Trent McDuffie, but they’re stuffing the run, putting the game on Kirk Cousins and winning all the money downs at the moment.

Quentin Lake has shown some great strides in making plays on the ball over the past calendar year. He told me that was his big focus this offseason — becoming more of an impact coverage player.

    Next Gen Stats@NextGenStats
Jaylen Watson allowed just 2 receptions on 10 targets in coverage against the Raiders, recording 4 passes defensed.

The only other player to allow 2 or fewer receptions & 4+ passes defensed in a game this season is teammate Trent McDuffie (Week 2 vs NYG).

    Brock Vierra@BrockVierra
Tyler Davis, Ty Hamilton, Omar Speights, and Emmanuel Forbes showed up to play.

    Cameron DaSilva@camdasilva
two touchdowns and 45 yards taken off the board for Blake Corum today because of penalties.

    Los Angeles Rams PR@TheLARamsPR
With his fifth catch of the game, Puka Nacua extended the longest active streak of games with 5+ receptions to 15 games, tying the eighth-longest streak in NFL history.

The 15-game streak is the second-longest in franchise history, trailing Cooper Kupp’s 23-game streak (2020-2022).

    Omar Speights
Speights played aggressively in a game where Nate Landman wasn’t available, attacking downhill and wrapping up ball carriers throughout the day. He made two tackles for a loss in the win, helping shut down Ashton Jeanty and Mike Washington, who combined for only 42 yards on 14 carries.

Omar Speights was spectacular, finally looking like the player we’d thought he’d become after his rookie season. His work with Shaun Dolac became the remedy for replacing the injured Nate Landman. Speights was great, and his work as a coverage defender was impressive. We need to see more, but it might be time for the linebacker to cut into Landman’s snaps.

    Jaylen Watson
Watson was outstanding in this one with Trent McDuffie out. He was the Rams’ top cornerback and played like it, making three tackles and breaking up four passes. He left briefly due to cramping but returned and immediately made a play on a screen pass. He’s been great all year but he was particularly good on Sunday.

For the Lions. Not the Rams.

For the Rans, Waterfield has 128 INTs in 91 starts.
For the Rams, Stafford has 59 INTs in 81 starts.
