Eagles hoping to soon get back their All-Pro OT Lane Johnson from his Lisfranc sprain in his right foot, and they need him. This season, the Eagles are 0-3 without Johnson.

Since Johnson’s rookie season in 2013, the Eagles are 120-62-1 in the 183 games he has played, a win percentage of .656.

In the 42 games without him, the Eagles now are 15-27, a win percentage of .357.

Philip Rivers is back with the @Colts!

    Albert Breer@AlbertBreer
Obviously what Philip Rivers is doing is rare.

But it’s not unprecedented—in 1998, 44-year-old Steve DeBerg came out of retirement after five years away and signed a one-year deal with the Falcons. He even started a game (a 28-3 loss to the Jets) for Super Bowl-bound Atlanta.

    JJ Watt@JJWatt
Philip Rivers ran the same offense as the Colts for his son Gunnar’s HS team this season.

He and Shane Steichen spoke weekly about it, discussing plays and even film.

So familiarity with the scheme should be no problem whatsoever.

“The only one holding onto Mahomes’ balls is Chris Collinsworth.”

More of that, please. I have no idea who that is, but she’s funny.

“the beginning of the end” — Dan Orlovsky on Joe Burrow remaining in Cincy

I do not wanna see Joe Burrow on the 49ers or Cardinals.

Tom covers a lot of topics, including the value of experienced QBs. He also talks about exactly what Cosell talked about in the vid above.

I see the Falcons beat the Bucs thursday night. I’m ok with that, because I want the Panthers to make the playoffs.

I believe the Rams would like another shot at Carolina.

    Games that matter

A few games are just mismatches (Raiders at Eagles, Cardinals at Texans, Titans at SF, Colts w/ Rivers in his first game at Seattle). Maybe there will be an upset.

As for a real game. At 4:25:

    Packers at Denver

    That one will be interesting.

Philip Rivers looked wily and crafty, but also weak-armed and shot. Still, he got the ball out so fast it frustrated the Seahawks. Almost had em.

That Big dum game-losing penalty on the Panthers at the end might cost them the division.

Falcons, man. They had that game good-and-lost. I don’t appreciate that.

I believe only the Bears have a comparable 1-2 punch at RB.

K.Williams: 1030 yds. 4.9 yds per rush. (8th in yds.)
B.Corum: 621 yds. 5.5 yds per rush. (28th in yds.)

The 7-7 Ravens are three point favorites over the Patriots this week.

That makes no sense to me.
