Tyler Higbee’s ankle got injured Sunday, and the Rams are trying to determine how serious it is, McVay says.November 18, 2025 at 11:41 am #159415
znModeratorfrom https://www.lafbnetwork.com/nfl/la-rams/la-rams-news/rams-sign-jesse-luketa/
The Los Angeles Rams moved quickly in the aftermath of a troubling injury update on defensive standout Quentin Lake, adding reinforcements to a defense that suddenly finds itself without a player who has played nearly 100 percent of defensive snaps over the last two seasons.
As first reported by Jordan Schultz, “Sources: Former #Cardinals OLB Jesse Luketa is signing today with the #Rams. The former Penn State standout recorded three sacks and one forced fumble in 10 games last season. He is fully healthy after recovering from a season-ending thigh injury.”

canadaramParticipantHey! Luketa is a Canadian! He fills the hole on defense left by the departure of fellow Canadian Michael Hoecht. Alaric Jackson allows the Rams to meet their Canadian player quota on offense. However, if the recent accusations prove to be true, in the future I will be less likely to point out that AJ is Canadian.

Billy_TParticipantLake will be missed. A key player in stopping Mayfield downfield, especially. They’ve been relatively in good shape, health-wise, so far, but this one hurts. Really looking forward to seeing this game next Sunday.

The injury bug has bitten: Sean McVay announced the Rams are placing Higbee, Havenstein and Lake all on injured reserve***
The Los Angeles Rams have placed three starters on injured reserve, guaranteeing they will miss the next four games: DB Quentin Lake, TE Tyler Higbee, and RT Rob Havenstein.

wvParticipantRams are 6.5 point favorites against the Bucs. Which seems bat-shit-crazy to me. I dont get it.

wvParticipantSix Bucs listed as ‘ill’ on the first injury report:
“Six Bucs were listed as ill: starters Graham Barton, Emeka Egbuka, Dan Feeney, Luke Goedeke, Logan Hall and Baker Mayfield.”

vI agree. That’s too low. 😎
Tampa is okay on offense, but their defense is mediocre. Rams offense overwhelms the Tampa defense, the Rams defense is not threatened by Tampa offense.

I dunno. Havenstein is one of those guys I like to see out on the field.
Now i realize you have never valued Offensive Line play. You’ve always been a “QB elevates the team” guy.
Also, I think Tampa will be desperate and I suspect the Rams will be drained after the Seahawk game. I would take Tampa and the points

It’s about time we got a game where an exhausted Rams team defeats a desperate opponent.
That sounds like fun.

“There is no way for me to sugarcoat it — it was pivotal in my career and in my journey. It helped me find the fun in football again. … It was instrumental, and I’m forever grateful for it.” https://t.co/7sjdWsYG1i pic.twitter.com/RtFQKNH3dQ
