Well, I did not enjoy that
Penalties on O and D and mistakes on D killed them in the 2nd half I thought
October 30, 2022 at 7:17 pm #141435joemadParticipantI don’t think I’ve deeply disliked a niner player as quickly as McCaafery… I already can’t stand him…
October 30, 2022 at 7:25 pm #141436InvaderRamModeratormissed chances on turnovers. penalties. i just did not think they’d be this bad.
October 30, 2022 at 7:59 pm #141438canadaramParticipantMy thoughts aren’t really about this game in particular. Already trying to forget it, to be honest. My thoughts are that I am shocked that the Rams beat the Niners in the NFC Championship Game last season. Yeah, yeah, different team, I know. It’s just the Niners have owned the Rams over the last several seasons regardless of health or circumstance. I hate it. I want an off-season that is totally geared toward beating the Niners. Even if the the Rams finish 2-15 next year. Not since the Rams first season back in LA has this team been less fun to watch.
October 30, 2022 at 9:27 pm #141439wvParticipantWell, to state the obvious the rams are not an elite NFL team.
Can they win more than they lose this year? I dunno.

October 30, 2022 at 10:10 pm #141440Eternal RamnationParticipantThe GSOT Rams Superbowl window opened in 1999, the 2021 Rams Superbowl window opened in 2017 and slammed shut 10-30-22
The 2nd half was honestly looked like a team that mailed it in. Defense particularly the secondary was disgusting, the offense was just as bad just a horrible effort in a game they should have won by 20 points. We got beat down by the 9er backups . Imo Mcvay does not get it he says the same old things after every loss and most of them are not relevant. 2 weeks to prepare for the severely depleted 9ers a team they know better than any team in the league and the 9ers didn’t even play well either. I want accountability no more good look in their eye bullshit . Heads need to roll Rapp needs to go bye bye. Wags aint doing shit with the green dot and Rapp plays like he watches tape to search find the quickest way to get out of position
October 30, 2022 at 10:43 pm #141443TSRFParticipantI didn’t see a snap live; was flying back from IND to LGA during the game. After seeing the box score, I’m kind of glad I missed this one. I agree that it was almost a miracle we won it all last year. Look what’s happening to old QB’s this year. Brady, Rodgers, Stafford, how about Matty Ice?? All toast. I think we’re in for a long, dark Winter…
October 30, 2022 at 11:28 pm #141445JackPMillerParticipantIt’s going to get worse from here. Is there a chance that both Aaron Donald & Matt Stafford retires? If they both do, then I think we need to think about trading the players that have the best value, and get draft picks.
Also, the way this team is built, we probably won’t see another Super Bowl, for another 10-20 years.
Plus, who woulda thunk we would be in 3rd place, in the West behind San Fran and Seattle. We are only ahead of Arizona, by a half game, for last place.

It’s not the same team, for sure. A boatload of OL injuries. Yes not having Miller, OBJ, & Whitworth.
But that 2021 Rams playoff team was the real thing. They beat Tampa, SF, and then Cinn–3 in a row–all with 4th quarter comebacks. What this team is reduced to now is no reflection on what they were then .
Including the super bowl, in the last 8 games the Rams have played 3 LOTs, 7 OGs, and 3 OCs. No offense looks good under those conditions.

Thats all I’m really saying. Also, thank sweet baby jeebus that Tart dropped Stafford’s pass in the 4th quarter.

Even when they were healthy, the first couple of games, we still looked awful. We need both size and talent.
