Once again, Niner fans at my work, will NOT be going to the game. Me: You going? Them: No, can’t make it. You’re obviously going. Me: I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Want me to see if I can get you tickets? Them: Can you? Me: No. (I love doing that)

If Brady retires and Rogers leaves the Packers and goes to Denver, Matthew Stafford might legitimately be the best QB in the NFC next season.

Von Miller’s 2016 playoff run was outrageous. 5 sacks, 13 tackles, 2 TFL, 4 QB hits, 1 INT, 2 forced fumbles in 3 games. His 2022 run isn’t bad, either. 2 sacks, 10 tackles, 3 TFL, 2 QB hits, 1 forced fumble/recovery in 2 games. Feel like he’s the guy to put all your faith in.

Rams WR Van Jefferson (knee) was listed as questionable on the injury report but had a good week and it’s currently sounding like he will be able to play his normal role on Sunday without concern from team. Would be a surprise at this point if he did not play.
One more note…if Joe Noteboom can’t play (pec, doubtful), probably would then see Alaric Jackson active as depth behind Father Time himself. He got thrown into the fire at LT earlier this season vs Vikings and teammates were really impressed with how he played. Good find.

Well it’s obviously too soon to say that Jackson is possibly starting caliber at LOT. But let’s say he might be. Do people realize how crazy that is? That would mean the Rams somehow managed to be 3  deep LOT.

Now it’s iffy for next year, cause AW will probably retire, and NB is a free agent. But let’s say NB gets signed, and he’s as good as he turned out to be this year (which is a big improvement over 2019). If Jackson is a good one too, that means they are already 2 deep at LOT, which is a lot more than most teams can say.

I didn’t think there was much to Jackson when they first signed him, but apparently that was too pessimistic.

And so if they have 3 LOTs, they also didn’t spend a lot of draft capital to be in that position. AW was a free agent, NB was a 3rd round pick, Jackson was a UDFA. If Jackson comes through, that means they spent a total of one 3rd round pick to get 3 candidates at a vital position that is traditionally hard to draft for unless you have a top 16 1st rounder.

The #Rams are playing thanks in part to the acquisitions of Von Miller & Odell Beckham Jr, both of whom they’d like back. How could they do it? The salaries of Jared Goff, Todd Gurley, Michael Brockers and DeSean Jackson come off the books for 2022, clearing $39M. It can be done

Feels strange that Brockers isn’t with us for this run.. can we send him a ring if we win it all?
