He takes a while to make his point, but here is his view:

“Stafford leads the entire NFL in 2nd half passer rating.”

    It’s a good point.

You know at first I didn’t, but, I like Cowherd. I like his rambling understated intensity.

I disagree that Goff is just average though. I think he can be inconsistently better than average. This is not a comment about the trade, btw–I defended Stafford being the Rams qb from day one of the trade.

On Stafford. I do not like his slow starts (I know that’s a rare opinion…kidding)…but he does make his share of great “wow” plays per game.

I like the 2021 Rams offense–Stafford, Kupp, Michel. And Beckham is getting deep into the swing of the offense too. (Just think, last year 3 of those guys weren’t Rams.) I imagine them being even better with Akers.

But they have to beat SF.

    ….

Yep. I did not know that, either.

“He leads the league when it matters.”

I just think that’s important to throw into the conversation while we all sit here griping about the TOs he has had.

On Cowherd, I like him because he is well-informed, and doesn’t make an ego-spectacle of himself. I used to really enjoy sports radio, but I can barely take any of it anymore. So much of it is bombast over substance. Cowherd and Greenberg are a couple of guys who are usually “listenable.” On the big stage, I mean. There are good voices that are less well-known, of course.

Harris (last vid posted): Stafford’s mistakes come when he’s trying to do too much.

It was the same with Goff.

Not that I am comparing the 2 or “lamenting the trade” or any of that.

It’s just this eerie little Rams fact.
