Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers is so disgruntled with the Green Bay Packers that he has told some within the organization that he does not want to return to the team, league and team sources told ESPN on Thursday.

Sources: The Packers reportedly told Aaron Rodgers they were going to trade him in the off season, then backed off. It’s been a bleep show between them ever since. And within the last week Rodgers told the team.. trade or no trade I’m not coming back. Buckle up folks

As @JayGlazer said, the contract is part of the reason for Rodgers’ discontent. I’m told he “doesn’t like anyone in the front office for a variety of reasons.”

From unimpeachable source: As of last night, Aaron Rodgers’ wish list was 49ers, Broncos, Raiders (not necessarily in that order). He wanted Packers to take the 49ers’ offer. Next move by Rodgers is TBD.

Buzz is definitely building for Broncos making a move for Aaron Rodgers. G.M. George Paton witnessed what Aaron can do while in Minnesota. Coach Vic Fangio witnessed it while in Chicago.

I’m hearing @AaronRodgers12 to @Broncos is close to a done deal… still could fall thru but fingers crossed Crossed fingers

If Aaron Rodgers is traded before June 2, the Packers will have $31.556M of 2021 dead money because of dealing him. The only 2021 cap hit for a player on a team that would be bigger would belong to Russell Wilson ($32M). Carson Wentz’ dead money with Philly is $33,820,611.

I think we dodged a bullet here. Rogers may be “better” than Stafford, but he is such a douche. I wouldn’t be happy if the Rams had gotten Rogers this off season. Too bad he won’t end up imploding SF…

#Packers GM Brian Gutekunst says he thinks Aaron Rodgers will play for GB again and that’s the goal. “He’s our quarterback. He’s our leader. We’ve been working through this for a little while now. I just think it might take some time. But he’s the guy that makes this thing go.”

Asked if there’s any scenario where the #Packers could trade the reigning NFL MVP, Brian Gutekunst is definitive: “No, we’re not going to trade Aaron Rodgers.”

Gutekunst says he didn’t speak with #49ers GM John Lynch today. (As I said earlier, SF called Wednesday.) Did get one call after reports surfaced of trade interest in Aaron Rodgers.

As for a rumor Gutekunst told Rodgers he’d be traded, then reneged: “It’s absolutely false.”
