Good game. Saw glimpses of a lot of different guys, like Akers.

Lot of players did good. I thought the defense is starting to be special.

liked what i saw of akers.

not completely convinced by the defense. rain was a contributing factor i think. but they did what they were supposed to do. and it was good to see them getting pressure on the qb.

this is the performance i was expecting last week against the giants.

Saw the highlights. Geez. Very impressive.

Looked like a fun day for Aaron Donald. What was he up against, a rookie? A statue of an OLineman?

Worked for me. The outcome was never really in doubt from the beginning drive. Solid everywhere. No complaints.

Everett siting, not that I care, but just saying.

A good long throw by Goff. Something we haven’t seen in a while.

Solid game all around except for that kicker guy. Jeeze that guy is going to lose us a game at some point.

Weve gone from LegaTron, to ‘that-kicker-guy.’

    Cant be good.

my biggest disappointment is not seeing as much lewis as i would have liked. but understandable that the rams would want to ease him back in.

    polite flashed.

    reeder flashed lots.

this defense needs reps. especially with no preseason. i’m more interested in what the defense looks like the second half of the season.

    aaron donald. always a pleasure.

The 49ers sure do suck, though. I mean… that’s a quality life experience right there. That can go on forever, as far as I’m concerned.

    The Rams are good.

Another impressive drive by the offense to open the game.

    Well coached.

Special teams field positioning also very good today…

Watchin the replay. You know Henderson is funny. I was not high on him, because i thought he was a fumbler and I thought he was kinda fragile. But the kid almost looks like a power-runner. A power-runner with speed. Interesting.

He cant do what prime-Gurley did, but that kid can slash on the inside.

I’m starting to enjoy watching him.

Henderson seems to be living up to his potential now. Love him. I’ve said it before, but I can’t handle Sloman. I just don’t have the mental fortitude to deal with his kicks.

He needs a nick-name. Maybe that would help him.

He was never fragile, that was kind of a misconception. If you watch his college highlights, he has fantastic contact balance so there was always a physical dimension to his game. Tough, compact kid.

Imo Goff has matured into an elite QB .Williams is a pro bowl cb. The OL is night and day better than last year’s squad and it’s pretty much the same guys. This team is getting better and better. Kicker is a concern but 4 and 1 scoring 30 pts a game is a bit more forgiving hopefully Sloman gets squared away before it’s a liability.

Rams have played 3 top 10 defenses. Eagles (10), Giants (5), and Washington (7).

They soon face the 3rd ranked D (SF).

Then Chicago and they’re 29th. So the streak ends after SF.

Rams defense is 4th in the league in yards per game and 3rd in points per game.

    it’s nuts. i didn’t even realize.

not only that but they lead all teams in ypa allowed. they are tied for the lead in sacks (pittsburgh does have a game in hand so second assuming pittsburgh gets at least one sack in that game). third in passer rating allowed. second in passing yards allowed.

i still feel like the tackling could get better. their run defense is not stout. but if the front seven can keep putting pressure on the qb, this pass defense should be real good.

just popped into my head what impact robinson would be able to make when he gets back.

Something happened in the game I’ve never seen before. Rams at about midfield go for it on 4th and 1. They didn’t get it–that was the Robert Woods slippery ball throw. So Washington takes over. They end up in 4th and 1, go for it, and are stopped. So the Rams get the ball back at roughly the same spot they had it in the first place when they went for their 4th and 1, which was just the first of the 2 consecutive 4th and 1s in the game.

    Game 5

Winning a game we should win is important, and doing it handily is satisfying.

    The Great

    1) Akers 46 yarder … get used to it. He looked much more confident and was hitting the hole at full speed rather than thinking about it …

    2) AD had 4 sacks? Lawdy.

    3) Our OTs did really well against 2 really athletic kids.

    4) Everett’s YAC. Dude is a beast. He needs more goal line carries.

    5) Dareus Williams with another big breakup.

    6) Troy Reeder with 3 sacks? Did not see that coming.

    7) And of course TERRELL LEWIS SIGHTING!

    The Good

    8) Jared poised and calm … accurate.

    9) Josh Reynolds with that crazy catch … wow.

    10) The decision by I’m guessing Staley to have Reeder spy on those sack plays …

    11) Obo getting legit pressures.

    12) Defensive backs coverage …

    The Bad

    13) I don’t like not having Fuller.

    14) Still feels like we could be tackling better.

    The Ugly

    15) Ummm … we need to have a talk about our kicker.
