Seems like a lot of people were just waiting to jump on McVay. The guy …

    • Got a team that hadn’t been to the postseason in a decade there in Year 1.

    • Immediately turned around a young QB.

    • Got to a Super Bowl in Year 2.

    • Is 6-5, despite a bunch of stuff going wrong.

For a lot of the same reasons I kept telling people that I’d still take Kyle Shanahan when the Niners struggled last year, I’ll still take Sean McVay now

Six reasons the Rams are experiencing a Super Bowl hangover USA Today
    link: https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/2019/11/26/rams-super-bowl-hangover-nfc-west/

A little bit of this, a little bit of that, and now the Rams have a hangover. Most of us doubted it, and now we’re all reaching for the Excedrin. On the bright side, nobody ever talks about 8-8 hangovers!

    Do you mean this? http://theramshuddle.com/topic/humans-arent-inherently-destroying-the-planet-capitalism-is/#post-108685

Or is it a different one?

The site switched servers and it has been slower since then.

Other possibility if that’s not it is that it sometimes marks things as spam. I don’t know what causes that, certain URLs set it off.

Yeah, last time I checked, it wasn’t showing up in the forum update sections.

And I have noticed it slowing down lately, especially on mobile.

    Hope all is well, ZN.

No. It still shows a WV post from 20 hours ago as the latest.

Despite the end result, #LARams Samson Ebukam made lemonade out of lemons on Monday night against the #RavensFlock

Among all defenders in Week 12, Ebukam ranked T-3rd in the league in both defensive stops (6 total) and sacks (2)

Ravens’ S Earl Thomas to reporters today: “You think the 49ers are going to the Super Bowl? It could be, let’s see. We’ll just go out there and try to play the best football we can possibly do. And when the Super Bowl comes, whoever we play, they’re going to be in trouble.”

Rams offensive line pass block win rates last two weeks.

Week 11 vs. Bears: 78.6 percent, ranked 2nd
Week 12 vs. Ravens: 44 percent, ranked 24th

Game plan Week 11 relied on run, with Goff attempting 18 passes, helped with PBWR. Rams OL with a lot of work to do.

Rams QB Jared Goff: “Our offense has not been where it needs to be the last few weeks and I need to bring up the standard a little bit.”

Todd Gurley, on Jared Goff’s comment that the standard needs to be raised: “It’s definitely a great point. Like we always say, ‘The standard is the standard.’ We set the bar high, so anything less is unacceptable. I can definitely agree with him on that.”

from Niners are first 10-1 underdog in a decade, plus five more wild stats about 49ers-Ravens matchup
Baltimore and San Fran are two of the NFL’s top teams, so their entire matchup is unpredictable

    https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/niners-are-first-10-1-underdog-in-a-decade-plus-five-more-wild-stats-about-49ers-ravens-matchup/

As NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero noted this week, defensive coordinator Robert Selah has San Fran allowing just 136.9 passing yards per game, which is the fewest yards allowed by any team since 1980. NFL Research indicates the Miami Dolphins once actually allowed fewer yards, but that came during a lockout-shortened season, and even that was back in 1982.
The Ravens may be favored by six, but when you consider what they’ve done in recent weeks, six points almost seems absurdly low as a projected advantage. The Niners may have a strong “D,” but in Baltimore’s last five games, Lamar Jackson and Co. have outscored opponents — including playoff contenders like the Patriots, Houston Texans and Seattle Seahawks — 202 points to 62. That’s a difference of 20 touchdowns, or an average of 28 points per game.

The most exhausted I’ve been after a single play in the NFL was on the bottom of the pile trying to recover a fumble. I was on the very bottom and everyone was trying to wrestle the ball away.

Announcers and Pereira describing all OL frustration with holding calls this year. They see an arm around a defender and they’ve been calling holding this year when there isn’t actually holding. Holding is restricting the movement of the defender, not just an arm draped over ‘em.

With Saints win tonight, the #49ers will indeed become the first team of the Super Bowl era to play three consecutive teams with at least an .800 winning percentage this late in the season.

    Hey, ZN,

It shows up like this on the forums page.

    https://theramshuddle.com/forums/

I just posted in the football and public forums, and still shows much older pasts as the most recent.

Likely just needs an update to the CMS or to the cache plugin. Maybe both.

Or, if it’s going through a CDN, could be a problem on their end, but the owner of the site no doubt has access to make corrections there, too. Could be a cache issue for CDN as well.

(Don’t think it’s on my end. I have my browser set to automatically clear everything when I close it)

Gregg Rosenthal, from NFL Week 13 game picks: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001081347/article/nfl-week-13-game-picks-boys-beat-bills-saints-stop-falcons?campaign=Twitter_atn

Arizona Cardinals 26, Los Angeles Rams 24

This is an early last stand for the Rams’ season. Lose in Arizona with a brutal schedule ahead, and they’ll spend their final four weeks in a fetal position, nursing their nasty Super Bowl hangover. While Kyler Murray isn’t Lamar Jackson, the Cardinals can throw a lot of creative runs at a Rams defense prone to wild mood swings. The Cardinals’ rushing attack ranks second only behind the Ravens’ in efficiency, while the Rams are below average. The fact that Kliff Kingsbury’s Cardinals offense is better overall than Sean McVay’s Rams this late in the year is one of the upsets of the entire season.
