Legendary wideout Larry Fitzgerald knows a great receiver when he sees one and there’s nothing that makes him believe Kupp couldn’t thrive in any offense. He broke down what makes Kupp so productive, pointing to his size, separation ability and hands.
“He’s having a phenomenal year leading the league in touchdown receptions at this point right now, I believe, and has been Matt Stafford’s safety blanket,” Fitzgerald said on his podcast with Tom Brady and Jim Gray. “He’s beat guys on the outside, he’s beat them inside with choice routes, up the seam, over the top. I mean, he’s just been able to do it in every single fashion. I think Cooper Kupp’s game could work anywhere. He’s got that type of ability. He’s big, he’s fast, he separates, he’s got tremendous hands. He’s really good in the run game. I mean, you see his effort, the way he blocks in the run game. The guy’s a complete player and you can tell he just does things the right way.”

I think because kickoff teams can dictate so much more than punts. They can tell Kupp to essentially fair catch anything and live with an exceptional punt. On a kickoff you can force a return essentially.But I’m with you, I light a candle every time Kupp is back on PR.
If I were an opposing ST coach right now I would really be enticing the Rams to try and return the kick off. A) The lack of a true returner means they aren’t picking up + yards. B) Rams ST are getting penalized so often even a good return is typically negated.

First off, we should know we’re not getting “that” Von Miller. The SB MVP Miller. We’re getting an older version. But…..
Watched his last 3 full games (Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Las Vegas). He actually looked uninterested at times. I suppose for a 10 year vet, that can happen. Coming off of injury and not playing in 2020, I’m sure that can have an effect too. I think this guy needed a change of scenery but was too much of a loyal player to ask or didn’t even realize he needed it. I’m curious to see if he’s got a new pep in his step.
Also, I checked his defensive snaps and in the first 3 games his snaps were 45 and under. He had 4.5 sacks (7 TFL, 7 QB hits). In his last 3 games his snaps were 50, 58 and 62 and he wasn’t nearly as effective (0 sacks, 0 TFL and 2 QB hits). With Floyd, Lewis and Obo he shouldn’t have to play more than 40 or 45 snaps. Keep him fresh so he can give us 40 real good snaps instead of 60 decent ones.

I leave when Wolford comes in so as far as Im concerned it was a shutout.
Gonna try to do these on Sundays because I get overloaded Monday and lose track of the game. of course I couldn’t finish Sunday night and now we’ve traded for Von Miller.
The Great
1) Allowing only 100 yards with starting defense.
2) First showing for Ernest Jones.
3) Henderson with the jets … I really have ben liking his speed through the holes.
4) Leonard Floyd having himself a game. He doesn’t do it every week but when he’s up against an OT he can work he’s busy. He’s always good against the run but his spurt days in the backfield are fun to watch.
5) Donte Deayon’s pick. Had to have made sports center’s top plays and it didn’t even count.
The Good
6) I like seeing Skowronek able to come in and be functional.
7) The deep ball to Van … great route and he was moving … tad underthrown but I’m okay with that.
8) Noteboom seemed to be functional in the run and pass game. We may be able to extend him for a decent price. That would be lucky. Wemay lose Allen if he grades out high enough.
9) Liked seeing Blanton out there, is Higbee okay?
10) Cooper bein Cooper.
11) Gaines with solid snaps in SJD’s absence
The Bad
12) I’m gonna keep putting Stafford’s missed throws here until he cleans it up.
13) Henry’s injury, for my fantasy teams.
14) How was Wolford? Seemed like he had to be terrible for them to score 3 times. Did we go three and out 3 times?
15) I am not a fan of how that affects our defensive rankings.
The Ugly
16) Dude, did Tutu get hurt falling down? This is his second time in the “did I really just see that?” section for him.
Von Miller Trade
17) This changes a bit. This makes 3 spots that can rush the passer.
18) He doesn’t have to be in 75% snaps now … can stay fresh.
19) Change of scenery going for a ring? We likely get his A game.
20) Gave up a 2 and 3? Guess we think Noteboom can handle OLT.
