wvParticipantSome of yuuz guyz are a lot tougher on Stafford than I am. To me, he’s only played one bad game: the Titan game.
The SF game was about the run defense for me. 19-play drives, etc.
Staffords ‘INT’ to Higby was a good pass. His INT to OBJ was not a great
decision, but i basically put it down as miscommunication with a new WR.
Ended up being a punt, essentially. Etc, and so forth.Losing Akers was huge. Losing Woods was huge. The Oline may be
wearing down.It would take a great offense to overcome a porous run defense.
Rams dont have a great offense.Looks like another wild-card kind of year for McVay.
Pretty good team, but not top-five.w

—-‘Love,’
a breakup,
jealousy,
violence.Seen it a gazillion times.
Most of my male jealous-rage-abuser-clients over the years,
did not ‘mean’ to fly into a violent-rage. But they
could not stop the infantile-rage. Its like lightning. There’s usually something ‘infantile’ about such men.
Hard to describe. Something didnt develop.
I dunno.Protective Orders and stuff only come into play
when its too late.Something needs to happen to teach young boys
learn to handle emotional pain.w

wvParticipantI am just disgusted.
This is the most disgusted I’ve been since – I don’t know when.
That beat down should have been the other way around, and I just don’t think there is an excuse for that. That game was over when the Rams botched the fake field goal. The Rams were done by HALFTIME in a game they HAD to have, against an opponent they should not have taken lightly, and which entered the game on its heels. And the Rams just got their asses kicked for the second week in a row.
Just no excuse.
================
Yeah, I havent said much, cuz i have no words.
I think you summed it up: disgusted. Two physical teams in a row, beat the crap out of
them. And a third is coming up.I guess this is what “All In” looks like.
w
v
wvParticipantI was at the game. Here’s my report.
Atmosphere. Like every Rams-Niner game I’ve been to, save 07, when both teams stunk, it was really good. For a rivalry game, the two fan bases get on real well. I saw no problems, no fights or taunting. I was surprised at the number of empty seats between the 20’s. Way fewer Ram fans than previous years.
Now my take..
============
Good to hear from you, Oz.
What if the Rams have a collection of stars,
but not enough solid players?w
v
wvParticipantJeezus. Saw that tweet-quote by JG
Jimmy G on 49ers’ opening scoring drive of 18 plays, 93 yards and 11 minutes, 3 seconds of game clock: “I don’t want to say it took their soul away, but it definitely did something.”
w
v
wvParticipantI ordered the DVD a while back. Its outstanding.
Its on utube, btw:
wvParticipantGod told OBJ to choose the Rams.
He is blessed.God tore Woods’ ACL,
of course.God, man.
w
v
wvParticipantWell, they were super bowl favorites for about
a day and a half.w
v
wvParticipantI haven’t decided if I like the OBJ signing or not yet…
==========
Ponder what happens if Kupp gets hurt down the stretch.
Or Woods.Sometimes the talking-heads talk about how the rams offense
is “loaded with talent” etc. But if you really take a look at it,
it aint that loaded.w
v
wvParticipantThere’s a vid out there on utube, where one of the celebrity-idiots
talks about Jalen Ramsey talking to OBJ on the phone, and at one point
there’s a question as to whether the rams WRs would accept OBJ, and Jalen
carries the phone into the WR room, and asks the WR’s if they want OBJ,
and they all answer enthusiastically yes.Who knows how true that is, or whether they were being sincere,
etc, and so forth. But I would think anybody would accept him if they knew
it was only for half a season.w
v
wvParticipantWell, as long as there is no negative impact on the locker room, I’m fine with it..
====
Well, its just half of one season. How much damage could he do?
Took him years to stir shit in Cleveland.
The Rams seem to have some solid leaders. I think they can
handle OBJ. Plus, OBJ has a chance to win a Ring, and show
teams he can be a good team-mate. Its in HIS interest
to be a team-player for now.w
v
wvParticipantMarcus Spears noted that the Stafford trade paid
“double dividends” because OBJ wanted to be with a great QB, etc.w
v
wvParticipantTo me, its real simple — is he, or is he not,
better than van jefferson? If he is better than VJ, then you sign OBJ.
Now, if you were a DC, would you rather face,
Kupp, Woods and VJ,
or
Kupp, Woods, and OBJ ?I’ll take OBJ over VJ any day.
w
v
wvParticipantI’m disappointed they didnt get rid of
another 1st round draft pick.w
v
wvParticipantRed and Yellow uniforms? Are you kidding me?
We’ve all been ram fans for ages, around here,
and no-one has ever unearthed ‘that’ fact before.Damn.
Zine it.
Fwiw, Blue and White, (with white pants, of course) are
the purist and true-ist and holy-ist colors.w

wvParticipantSame problem last year. There were a few times last year where the OL just got handled. I was saying all along that this year’s OL is better than last year’s…but they backslid. So who knows if it’s really better.
======
Yup. Same problem. But luckily they drafted Tutu instead
of an OLineman, so I am optimistic.w
v
wvParticipantThe rams did not ‘beat themselves.’ They were mauled.
Just say that.Yes, they made tons of ‘mistakes’ but they were forced
mistakes.w
v
wvParticipantYeah, i was afraid that would happen – physical butt-kicking.
Could be a valuable learning experience, though. Could be
they just have trouble with a physical bullying team. We’ll see.Lots of what happened is correctable. Whats not correctable is an
OLine that cant hold up to a defense like the Titans. If they played again, I would not bet against the Rams,
but I still think it would be a very close game.w
v
wvParticipantThat was the part I was referring to in the beginning of my post. That’s all “lawyer speak.” He knew what the question was, and he evaded the answer on a language technicality, and gave an answer that he knew would be interpreted as “Yes, I am vaccinated.”
He can maybe get away with that in a court of law, but not in my personal estimation. He deliberately misled his audience to a false conclusion.
==========
Oh yeah. He’s a weasel.
It will be interesting to see how he spins it
when next he talks to the peoples.I still remember the late 60’s and 70’s. Back when football was
just about football. And we were all idiots.w
v
wvParticipantWell, I’ve never gotten over the physical butt-kicking the
Eddie-George-McNair-Fisher-Titans
put on Kurt Warner and the Rams back in that 1999 regular season
game. The comeback that fell short.Seems like the Titans are always a physical, punishing, team.
And now they will rally around domestic-abuser Adrian Peterson.I dont like it. Not sure the rams are tough enough for this.
We’ll see.w
v
wvParticipantBut those clips (and I didn’t watch them all the way through) look to me like people who just don’t like Rogers personally, and are piling on.
I’ll bet if they liked Rogers personally, their opinions about this would be shaped differently.
=========
Fwiw, in the 2nd clip, at the 6 minute mark, I think the dude
has an interesting take on it.w

wvParticipantThe Q phenomenon is quite simply, soul-crushing.
The coupling of the Libshits and the Q-shits
is…ineffable. In a bad way. What is a word for
“ineffable in a bad way” ?w

wvParticipantStafford has elevated the front office
to the point the rams now have Von Miller.w
vNovember 3, 2021 at 8:41 pm in reply to: McVay: Rams vs. Titans – Stafford & Von Miller talk – Press Conference 11/3 #133630
wvParticipantVon seems really…nice. I’d never heard him talk before.
Easy player to root for.I love that he mentioned the ‘fearsome foursome.’
IF he’s healthy…IF…he’s healthy…Donald, Floyd, Von, Joseph-Day/Gaines…
…damn. Could be special. Fearsome. Its possible.w
vNovember 3, 2021 at 8:21 pm in reply to: Who will replace Tutu Atwell as the LA Rams return man? #133628
wvParticipantSince the rams special-teams-blockers cant block,
I do NOT want to see anymore skinny-scrawny-teeny-tiny youngsters
returning kicks.Forget the dreams of long returns, and just put a big strong
Cullen-Bryant-type of player back there and just
keep it simple: Catch ball, Two hands on Ball, Go straight ahead,
Fall down on contact, Give Ball to Stafford.w
