No way it is going to be colder than the 1985 NFC championship game.

I know Ron Brown never had soft hands, but I clearly remember a play where Brock hit him right in the hands, would have been a big gain, and it just bounced off of him, like his hands were literally stone. I blamed the cold.

Interesting stat I heard listening to Boston sports radio last time I was up there that West Coast / Dome teams have an abysmal playoff record in cold weather games. I guess the Chargers just proved the point.

No excuses, though. They have to beat these Bears.

I’m still frazzled after yesterday. I thought they were going to lose there in the middle of the 4th quarter.

I am rooting for the 49ers, despite the injury it is doing to my soul.

Would rather they play the Bears than the Shehawks.

I’m kind of shocked they are 9.5 point road favorites against a team that has already beaten them.

This looks like a flawed team, and it is a shame. Stafford has been plying his 37 year old ass off, probably to the point where the 38 year old ass is going to be an old, dead ass.

Sorry to say it, but our window with Stafford is closing quickly. If we don’t get there this year, we should probably cut bait and hone in on the next reclamation QB.

There were so many unbelievable things that happened in that game last night; good and bad, depending on your perspective.

I believe if the Rams win out, and the 9ers beat the Seahawks and win out, and the Seahawks win their other game, the 9ers win the division on tie breakers.

I’d rather have the Rams and Seahawks win out. The Seahawks would be the 1 seed, but we would be the 1 wildcard seed. Meaning we’ll have to go to Tampa or Carolina, but that is better than having to go to Philly, Chicago or Green Bay.

Wow, don’t you kind of hope the Seahawks win for the draft pick, but lose for playoff positioning?

    Very conflicting.

I remember Rams – Saints back in the day.

My favorite was Flipper going for 300+

I was actually coming home from a Giants game, and made it back in time to see the last 5 minutes or so.

Of course, since I live in Giants land, my favorite Flipper memory is the walk off (run off, actually) touchdown vs the Giants in the playoffs.

Nope.  I just don’t see a threepeat happening in this era.  Plus, the Rams are due to win another, even without Donald.

I’m ashamed to say I went to bed when it was 16-3 in the early 4th quarter.

Last year, when they signed OBJ, I thought, “Fuck, no; locker room cancer.”  I was proven wrong.

I had the same exact thought when they signed Baker.

For one night anyway, proven wrong again.

At least the last few games should be interesting…

Tough place for a first start.  I did like the energy and no quit from Perkins.  If I was King of the World, I’d decree that he should start the rest of our games.

McVay  stated there will be changes.  With the OL in shambles, why not give Perkins a shot?  He has to be more mobile that Stafford.

I know the answer; won’t happen because McVay’s ego is too big (the whole Goff / Stafford thing).

Too bad. The continuing pounding is going to take years off the limited time Stafford has left and the losing will continue.

I hope McVay proves me wrong and pulls a rabbit out of his hat.

I didn’t see a snap live; was flying back from IND to LGA during the game.  After seeing the box score, I’m kind of glad I missed this one.  I agree that it was almost a miracle we won it all last year.  Look what’s happening to old QB’s this year.  Brady, Rodgers, Stafford, how about Matty Ice??  All toast.  I think we’re in for a long, dark Winter…

Hanging on to beat the Falcons?  May the gods smile on us again.  I’m not counting on it, but it would be nice.

I’m bothered by the Rams being 2.5 point home dogs to the “ain’t done nothin” Bills.

    I hope the D is too…

Not for nothing, but their OC from last year is now the Giant’s HC.  That has to hurt them a bit, I hope.

    Wow, that’s sad.

Did he join the Rams during the strike, or was he already on the team and decided to play the strike games?  I remember him being a tough SOB.

Back up QB’s are very over-rated.  Unless your QB gets hurt, that is.

All the more reason we need to sign OBJ.  The man can throw the ball…

This is so fucking raw for me and mine.  We’re coming up on 10 years in December for the Sandy Hook slaughter.  I can’t even look at people who have NRA stickers on their car.  I’m sick, I’m hurt, and I am so sad for all the families.
