Good win. Problem 4th quarter. But good win.

Yes we won, but we have lots of work to do.

After that first loss, I knew the bloom was off the rose…

Hanging on to beat the Falcons?  May the gods smile on us again.  I’m not counting on it, but it would be nice.

Exhausting game to watch but there’s been substantial improvement in those 10 days. I liked Skowronek at fullback.

I went to that game today…

The Rams blew out ATL … but I thought the Rams were gonna end up 0-2 after the blocked punt and Kupp’s fumble.

Mateus has thrown 5 picks this season.

Mateus has thrown 5 picks this season.

“Mateus” means “gift of god.” Assuming you intended that as a bit of irony, are you that critical of Stafford?

Not “fighting,” just genuinely curious, one Ram bro to another.

    No, not critical

Mateus is Matt in Portuguese. … at least I think it is…

I thought played real good today

Rams are still a ‘dangerous’ team.  Thats what I’d call them at this point.

A danger to themselves and a danger to others.

I did not see it. First Rams game I have missed in a couple of years, at least. I looked at my phone from time-to-time, and thought things were fine at 28-3. Did not care for whatever the hell happened from that point.

Didn’t see the game, just the highlights. Happy for the win, but really surprised that the Rams let the Falcons back into the game. And I still don’t get taking the safety on purpose.

Stafford’s got to find a way to stop throwing pics.

Not worried about Kupp’s fumble. It looked like the perfect play by the defense. Just doesn’t happen very often. Kinda like bowling a 300.

I think the Rams are suffering a bit from the lack of early picks, especially when it comes to their O-line. They can’t keep going with the “next man up” thing when most of those guys are very late picks or UDFAs. With plenty of exceptions, of course, the best players are chosen early. That’s just the way it works. I want them to start to rebuild the trenches with a full slate of picks.

Also think they need a bell cow back. Gurley, in his prime, with Stafford? Sheesh. That would be unreal. No way to defend all of those weap0ns.

Of course, last year proved nearly all of my football theories wrong — in the best of ways — so there’s that. :>)

O-line played well today, which tells me that they may not be able to handle the good defensive fronts they’ll face, but at least they can handle the fair to middling ones.  That’s something, isn’t it?

If you didn’t see the game and looked at the box score, Powell’s rushing average of -26 yards is a good reminder of the danger inherent in presenting statistics without context.

nothing to be proud of but still a win.

maybe just some rust to be knocked off?
