JackPMillerParticipant
I don’t look at deep dish pizza as a pizza. I look at it as more of dinner. Pizza should not have that much meat or sauce. Just saying.
JackPMillerParticipantHopefully we can get a real Head Coach one day. One that knows how to win.
JackPMillerParticipantCase Keenum? I believe it was against Tampa Bay.
JackPMillerParticipantGo to like the 5:07 mark
JackPMillerParticipantI’m not sold on the Head Coaching choices. Hopefully we will do better than those three.
JackPMillerParticipantWhere is sweet potato pie? Just saying.
JackPMillerParticipantI blame zn for all of this. He likes coaches that are mediocre, or even worse. It’s his fault. I bet he and Kronke hang out together. I believe they are best buddies. That is why Fisher will keep his job. Just saying. đđđđ

JackPMillerParticipantItâs just not fun to watch anymore
This is a test.
I selected âIts just not fun to watch anymoreâ and THEN
i hit the Quote button. And voila.
I feel all empowered now.
Btw, its just not fucking fun anymore. Its ugly.
And i dont believe in Mermaids.w
vJust go to 24:15 when the crew starts going over to Isreal to find this mermaid.
JackPMillerParticipantI hope Kronke will enjoy seeing tons of empty seats. Most of the fans that will be in the Colosseum will be fans of the opposing teams.
Not if the Rams win.
We have Jeff Fisher. He doe not win. As long as Jeff Fisher is Head Coach, we will never sniff the playoffs.
JackPMillerParticipantI hope Kronke will enjoy seeing tons of empty seats. Most of the fans that will be in the Colosseum will be fans of the opposing teams.
JackPMillerParticipantIf Fisher is retained, fans will revolt in LA. We will see empty seats through out the Colosseum. There is just too much to do for the people of LA than coming to watch a team that will never make the playoffs as long as Fisher is still here. All Fisher does is lose. At least he is proving that with the Rams.
JackPMillerParticipantI heard they did the same thing at a High School basketball game in Texas. White students screaming, build that wall, while there were Latino students in the stands, as well. And possibly on the court on top.
JackPMillerParticipantAs for your dismissal of Weinke, the actual truth is, you have no idea. None. You have no idea whatsoever how good he is. I will say this. Mannion looked much better in the summer of 2016 than he did in the summer of 2015. That means he developed. Itâs not conclusive but it suggests the Rams coaches can develop a qb.
What I actually said was that Iâd rather have Martz teach Goff. Who would you rather have?
Youâre right. I donât know about Weinke. But Iâd rather have Martz for that role. It isnât JUST Weinke. Itâs Boras. Itâs Fisher. All contribute to what Goff will become. Iâm not crazy about that.
How many seasons should we give Fisher? Should we wait until everything is perfect? No injuries. No distractions? Perfect weather?
Any coach would take that. THATâS not reality. Good coaches will find a way.
Make no mistake. THIS is Fisherâs team. HE built it.
This is also a DUMB team. They make dumb mistakes at critical times. They are his players.
Their head just doesnât seem like itâs always in the game or game situations.
A fumble here, a penalty there, an int there, a blown timeout here and on and on.
They are his dumb team.
But weâll give him 5 more years of 4-6 starts to fix it. Unless there are injuries or QB challenges. Then heâll get 5 more.
I get patienceâI do. But this guy has a record zn. You canât make excuses for 21 years of mediocrity. It just doesnât work.
LookâI do like Martz but maybe he is a poor choice, I donât know. Like youânone of us know who would be the right choice. Neither do the Rams. But I do believe they should make a change. I do believe that. And I just am tired of this rinse and repeat over and over again. Yesâitâs taking a risk. It could be a disaster. But living in mediocrity is its own kind of disaster too.
Martz didnât âfind a way,â he lost his way. He took one of the best teams in NFL history and slowly eroded it. And when the quality fell apart he didnât âfind a wayââŠand thatâs even with a qb (Bulger).
Arians isnât âfinding a wayâ with a declining Palmer. McCarthy isnât âfinding a wayâ with a declining Rodgers. Harbaugh isnât âfinding a wayâ with an off-year Flacco.
Who would I rather have teaching Goff? Lombardi.
I think the whole âgood coaches find a wayâ thing is mythology. Name me actual real coaches who did well while starting back-up caliber qbs (and sometimes worse) for 75% of their games. I prefer the evidence of history. History tells meâno, coaches as a rule simply do not do as well if they play back-up caliber qbs the majority of the time. And I have no reason to believe Martz would do any better under the same conditions. He might actually do worse.
I am real big on history, contexts, looking at situations. That has always been true.
AND on top of it, you donât need to win the âwho does well with back-up qbs starting the majority of the timeâ battle. All you have to say is I donât care, I donât like Fisher anyway. Then weâre just voting differently in an informal poll. (Which IMO is the final truth of this anyway.) Which basically you did say. You vote for change. I don;t, or not yet anyway (and the truth is, I am not AGAINST it. I just donât think comparing two vastly different situations like Martz and Fisher gets at âthe truth.â I think it still comes down to value judgments and preferences.)
I will say this. On other boards, this kind of discussion is fraught and loaded and as often as not, personal. Here, I think people get the principle that you can disagree with a poster in one thread and at the same time agree in another. We donât let the discussion get loaded and antagonistic.
If you donât agree, then youâre under arrest. Donât tempt me either.
âŠ
Again zn, as I have said, this is Fisher’s 5th year, and this team should be considered a Super Bowl contender with the Seahawks, Cowboys, Patriots, Raiders, etc.
JackPMillerParticipantAfter today’s loss, Jeff Fisher just tied Tom Landry for 2nd place for most losses by an NFL Head Coach.

Same as always, Mr. 7-9. As long as Jeff Fisher is Head Coach of the Rams, we will never sniff the playoffs.
JackPMillerParticipantIf I had my wish, barring a miracle. He has to finish 10-6 to get a one year extension. If he does not, I’m looking for someone new to take over. Names I have been thinking of are, Teryl Austin DC Detroit Lions, Darrell Bevell OC Seattle Seahawks, Ken Norton Jr. DC Oakland Raiders.
JackPMillerParticipantThe defense has been a difference late in a couple of games too. Clutch plays sealed some Rams wins.
The penalties today were bad, but, the Miami defense is more penalized than the Rams, soâŠI donât regard it as THE difference in a season. The 5 most penalized defensive units (before and not counting today) are
1 Miami Dolphins 44
2 Jacksonville Jaguars 39
3 Los Angeles Rams 36
4 Denver Broncos 36
5 Philadelphia Eagles 32Notice 3 teams there with winning records. So is it a be-all and end-all?
Having said that, I agree the defensive penalties were the difference in THIS game though.
âŠ
I’m not talking about the teams penalties as a staple for his years here.
JackPMillerParticipantWhen you watch Case play, do the opposite.
JackPMillerParticipantBad news. I donât trust Rhaney.
Canât be worse than Barnes.
I am not a Barnes lover and have been calling for the Rams to draft a Center for 3 years nowâŠthat said, according to PFF Barnes had a solid game last week.
Not sure if it was just an anomaly or he was getting it together.
It was the Jets. They looked worse than us. If that’s possible?
JackPMillerParticipantBad news. I donât trust Rhaney.
Can’t be worse than Barnes.
JackPMillerParticipantWho says that Goff can’t be a spark to the offense? Maybe Goff goes on a huge win streak, and shocks the world and upsets the Patriots and Seahawks in their places? We can hope. Just saying.

Um. No.

vI think hevis saying in time we will miss him. Not now, but come back in a couple of years.
JackPMillerParticipantNot sure why, I know we won, but it does not feel like it. Anyone else have that feeling.

November 13, 2016 at 10:01 am in reply to: As Ratings Plummet, N.F.L. Considers Reducing Ads and Length of Games #58057JackPMillerParticipantI don’t care about the length. The issues the casual fan I expect he or she may have, is the number of flags, and other stuf..
1. The helmet to helmet thingy, it is frustrating when the DB lowers himself to hit the receiver, only for the receiver to change himself. And the defensive player gets flagged.
2. Calls on the Oline, we are seeing GR getting flagged for, that I see on replay, and just don’t see it. Also, the holding calls are inconsistent. Jason Whitlock stated to cut out holding unless it is obvious, such as tackling the defender from behind.
3. What is a catch? The old adage we see in the NFL, is the refs never seem to get the catch thing right. Another thing that is inconsistent.
4. No Fun League. Most of the fans loved the days where players can express themselves. Especially with the football. Also, I feel it should be OK for a player to take his helmet off after he gets into the endzone. Then again that is me though.

JackPMillerParticipantLet’s not forget, I have seen on the net that the KKK are planning parades for Trump’s victory. One is in North Carolina. That is disgusting. Hoping the state will not allow them to do it. Same goes with other states as well. Can’t let it to be Amerikkka. That is what we are seeing.

JackPMillerParticipantI am a little scared of this Trump. He talked about Muslims that live in this country, and deporting them. Muslim is a religion not a race. Talked about Mexicans as being rapists. He even made fun of a reporter who has a disability. Not comfortable with that. If I had my wish, Michelle Obama would be our President in 2020 & 2024. Just saying. The greatest First Lady in American history, as our future President. That is what we need.
JackPMillerParticipantWhat is your favorite Jay-Z song?
