As far as ratings…yeah. Not surprisingly, this show has evolved into extended commercials for the NFL. There is no longer any honesty in it.
yeah. it’s a bad bad show.
i did like the other one on amazon though.
InvaderRamModeratorexpecting huge things from this guy.
if the season ever happens.
InvaderRamModeratorthe first link is blocked. not sure if i did something wrong. is it working for everyone else?
InvaderRamModeratorI like the jersies! Though I don’t like em to “willing to board war over it” levels. It;s just my vote.
I agree about the helmet.
i just don’t like the numbers.
i’ll be a little happier if they go blue/yellow for home and bone/blue for road. but really i’d like them to just change the jersey. soon.
maybe when i see it in action i’ll change my mind.

InvaderRamModeratortwo elite players on the defensive unit.
so exciting.
InvaderRamModeratorthe jerseys are garbage.
but that helmet looks good.
i’m just glad they didn’t screw up the helmet.
InvaderRamModeratorShow me a better throw. I dare you.
goff’s as good as any thrower of the ball as i’ve ever seen from a rams player.
when it comes to decision making skills, leadership, toughness, intelligence, clutchness… i think it’s too early to tell. either way.
but as far as arm talent. he’s something else.
August 2, 2020 at 11:09 am in reply to: The Dune Trailer Better Be Awesome Because Foundation IS EPIC! #118778InvaderRamModeratorummm… i want to see that. now.
InvaderRamModeratori like akers. i think he’ll be solid.
InvaderRamModeratorBut what is its ceiling? Could the Rams have one of the best secondaries in football this season? With Ramsey as the No. 1 cornerback and two quality starters at safety, the sky is the limit for Los Angeles. And that’s without even mentioning Hill, who was great as a No. 2 cornerback in the second half of last season.
i don’t really know enough about the other teams to say with certainty. but i think this secondary could potentially be top 5.
InvaderRamModeratorthe draft pick i’m most excited by is terrell lewis. just because of the potential he has, the position he plays, and where he was picked.
the undrafted pick i’m most excited by is michael hoecht. jonah williams is a close second, but hoecht has unbelievable size to go with unbelievable measurables.
InvaderRamModeratorInvaderRamModeratorJuly 23, 2020 at 9:01 pm in reply to: the virus & the education industry (ie. what should schools do) #118324InvaderRamModeratori don’t know when schools should reopen.
but that should be the biggest concern for us as a country.
i can do without professional sports for a year. i can do without new tv shows. new movies. just focus on getting kids back into as school as early as possible. without unnecessary risk of course.
July 20, 2020 at 12:12 am in reply to: Goff talk … June to Sept. (a lot of great stuff here) #118150InvaderRamModeratorwow. those last 2 stats were great, zn.
i mean i knew goff was an arm talent. but this just confirms it.
can’t wait to see him play again… whenever that is.
InvaderRamModeratorNot that I saw.
To me, he was just pointing to an evolutionary difference caused by the environment, which in this case is just the presence or absence of predators.
I don’t think any judgments were made, it’s just funny to see the difference.
yeah. i was kind of half joking. although i’m not sure the kangaroo has many natural predators.
InvaderRamModeratorMarsupial from an island with no predators vs a marsupial where there’s lots of predators
haha. so is he trying to say predators are bad? there always has to be some kind of balance.

InvaderRamModeratorafter clicking on that link i came across this link.
InvaderRamModeratorthat was an interesting video. i do think they reach a little bit on some of the assumptions they make based on their research. but i think there’s something there. i definitely think there’s something there.
i also thought the bit on sandusky was interesting.
realistically, i am not hopeful any kind of justice is served. she probably gets a slap on the wrist. and all her secrets kept under wraps.

InvaderRamModeratorIs it my imagination or have you been posting more on Politics lately, Invader?
Is there a reason for that? Or am i imagining that? Do you think of yourself as a ‘leftist’ or a ‘liberal’ or just a Seahawk fan like Zooey?it’s not your imagination. honestly? with the pandemic and the protests i’ve been leaning toward this side of the board more often lately.
i’m not particularly political. and for some of the reasons you stated. i often am conflicted between the way i would want to see things done vs being practical and trying to focus on things that are within the realm of possibility.
but also. how do you get 8 billion people to agree on a way forward? how do you even get half of them to agree on a way forward?
but then i also think does it even matter? is this planet supposed to go on forever? are humans meant to exist forever? the universe? sometimes i think i should just enjoy the world for what it is. faults and all. but then other days i think it does matter, and we should try and make this place better while we’re here. even if you can’t reach that ideal society.
i think what i would want is that we treat each other compassionately. universal healthcare. universal basic income. free education. free housing. i do think those are steps towards that. so if that makes me a leftist then i guess i’m leftist.
it wouldn’t solve everything. but then what would? again. trying to get 300 million people (not to mention 8 billion) to agree. well good luck with that. you can’t even get 30 million to agree.
i think you always have the end goal in mind. but you also enjoy the journey if that makes any sense. so even if you don’t ever reach the goal, you at least appreciate the steps it takes to get there?
so if we could get at least universal healthcare and universal basic income before i pass. and a mars landing. i’d be pretty cool with that.
InvaderRamModeratorSo there really is no way, IMO, to have even a mixed economy serve all. If we have it in, say, Scandinavia, it can’t also exist all over Africa, Latin America, Asia or in the good old USA. There must always be that surplus army of unemployed and radically underpaid. There must always been rampant inequality or you can’t have millionaires, much less billionaires. You have to have metaphorical trash cans and very real dead zones strategically placed, or there is no “capital formation,” much less “wealth accumulation.”
i agree with that.
As in, do we want to push for social democracy as a stage on the way to getting rid of capitalism entirely? Pragmatism of one sort or another may come into play here.
Or is social democracy as far as we should go?
i don’t know. but i do know that we’re currently going in the wrong direction.
InvaderRamModeratorwow.
i’m gonna say he’s absolutely worth it. given what other qbs make. i mean truly a generational player.
and honestly, i think it’ll turn out to be a bargain by the time his contract is over.
InvaderRamModeratorAdolph alludes to the corporate-lib notion that you cant be ‘working class’ and ‘black’
yeah. that’s the most annoying thing. well. one of the most annoying things that people don’t seem to get. or maybe just ignore.
InvaderRamModeratorit’s a mindfuck. but in a good way.
it’s brought up many feelings i’ve had about myself and where i come from. being a second generation american. what it means to identify as an asian american. and how that has evolved as i’ve become older. and the misconceptions that come along with being lumped into a “group” that is so diverse within that sphere.
but that applies to everyone really. not just muslims (which really spans across entire continents and cultures). not just arab americans. not just asian americans. not just second generation americans. but any “community”. right?
also, it’s just fucking funny and irreverent.
InvaderRamModeratorlooks like the turf is being installed.
stadium is supposedly 95% complete.

June 20, 2020 at 3:45 pm in reply to: defunding the police … & other legislative responses to the protests #116865InvaderRamModeratori thought this was interesting. police brutality is a symptom. and until the actual system can be reformed, nothing will change.
InvaderRamModeratori think he’s got the potential to be better than dante fowler.
maybe that’s not saying much.
InvaderRamModeratorextend him already.
