InvaderRamModerator
humans cannot treat other humans with any kind of compassion. we are too absorbed with our own self interests to be reasonable and kind to our fellow humans. hopefully a planet ender will put human existence out of its misery.
my heart goes out to all the people in orlando.
just so fucking tragic.
June 13, 2016 at 1:20 am in reply to: Arians: Cards' offseason practices 'best' I've ever seen #45959InvaderRamModeratori’m scared of that defense they’re building in arizona.
InvaderRamModeratornfl.com compares him to danny amendola. i already like the sound of that.
6’1″ 200 pounds. big soft hands. tough over the middle. that sounds like the ideal target for a young qb.
wr competition is gonna be fascinating.
InvaderRamModeratori’m liking this nelson spruce feller.
could be another slot receiver candidate? big hands. 10″.
He’s not a huge downfield threat but he will make up for what he lacks by being a quarterbacks “best friend” in the slot.

InvaderRamModeratori do agree with you however on how difficult it is to be a teacher. i have several friends who teach grade school. very hard and challenging job.
InvaderRamModeratorYes, but that is exactly my view — I think your gardener could do just fine as President,
if he/she was a critical thinker, was compassionate, and wise. And had help.i would disagree with that.
it would also require other people to also be critical thinkers and to be compassionate. or at least require that person to motivate or convince others to see their way of thinking.
and good luck with that.
and using bush and reagan as examples of how easy it is to do a GOOD job at being president isn’t very convincing.
i think we’re all screwed to be honest.
InvaderRamModeratori can’t stop laughing i’m so happy.
InvaderRamModeratori think stability is of paramount importance right now, and fisher hasn’t done or not done anything to make me think he should go.
InvaderRamModeratorfirst thing. and not that it matters or anything. but he seems like a better interview than sam bradford.
also the best possible thing that could happen is for keenum and mannion to keep pushing goff to get better. so far there seems to be a good relationship there between the qbs.
InvaderRamModeratorthe best possible result of all this? all three qbs work hard and do well and push each other to be better.
from that standpoint i think it does matter. don’t want to just hand it to goff.
June 9, 2016 at 9:04 pm in reply to: Keenum will be the starter to open camp…how close or far is Goff? #45788InvaderRamModeratorwell fisher has said that the plan is for goff to start week 1. he said almost those exact words, so i believe that’s the plan.
of course. goff could really stink. and then he doesn’t start week 1. but everything is geared toward starting the first game.
June 9, 2016 at 6:08 pm in reply to: Richard Sherman: make billionaires who benefit from stadiums pay for them #45778InvaderRamModeratori knew i liked richard sherman… hehehe.
InvaderRamModeratoryeah. even fisher has gone on record as saying that everything is planned with the expectation that goff will start week 1 of the regular season so unless something goes really wrong, i expect goff to enter the regular season as the starter. but until then the rams will be slowly bringing him up to speed rather than dumping everything on him all at once.
June 7, 2016 at 10:12 pm in reply to: OL gold standard–avg. starts and avg. years of experience #45581InvaderRamModeratori keep thinking. everything is being set up for 2017. offensive line a little short on experience this year. but by next year, they should have even more cohesion there.
drafted a bunch of receivers this year. probably won’t make an immediate impact but could breakout in the second year by which time hopefully goff has his bearings right and is a solid to very good qb.
so i just need to see some encouraging signs this year at least.
how long have ram fans heard that?
InvaderRamModeratoryeah. that looks good. i’d make one change at lg, but that’d be nit picking.
but there’s a good mix of experience and youth there. looks a whole lot better than just a year ago.
InvaderRamModeratori definitely think the oline will be better. both individually and as a group as they work on their chemistry.
June 6, 2016 at 10:14 pm in reply to: Mike Clay thinks the Rams among the worst teams in the NFL #45519InvaderRamModeratorother smaller question marks for me are ogletree. can he replace laurinaitis as the qb of the defense.
free safety. who steps in for mcleod? one of the smaller questions for me cuz they seem to be so good at developing defensive backs. gaines too. how does he come back from injury.
one of the receivers needs to step up.
and then how quick can goff be a starting qb? or can he even be a starting qb period.
if they can answer all those questions i see a winning record but they easily go the other way and have a losing record.
InvaderRamModeratori believe that an improved oline and gurley is possible, but i don’t believe in a keenum over 16 games. i believe that once defenses have an offseason to figure him out that he will be neutralized. so the question for me is how good can goff be? and how soon? and then obviously how good can his receivers be? and those are some pretty big question marks to me.
InvaderRamModeratorhuh. didn’t realize barron was recruited in high school as a linebacker. wonder if they’ve asked him to put any weight on.
InvaderRamModeratoradrian peterson plays at about 220 pounds.
i think it’s a good weight. like i said i think it’ll help with his explosion and might also be better for his joints.
might even help him with some more elusiveness.

InvaderRamModeratori loved the robinson pick when it happened. i just hope he can realize his potential and be the long-term solution at left tackle.
maybe the toe injury would account for the poor first half of the season? i know his preparation was a problem early on and even admitted it. he’s also had a full offseason to prepare. so a healthy more focused robinson with a full offseason to work on his technique? and two years under his belt?
June 5, 2016 at 8:50 am in reply to: How the Rams got a complete steal in UDFA safety Brian Randolph #45397InvaderRamModeratorThis guy with Fisher training could be something. I think he slipped through the cracks.
yup. he went to the right place. fisher and williams are gonna love this guy.
June 4, 2016 at 1:44 pm in reply to: How the Rams got a complete steal in UDFA safety Brian Randolph #45335InvaderRamModeratorhe seems like a good personality too. fans will love him. will give an entertaining interview i think.
InvaderRamModeratori will say this. i think the current ogletree is way more athletic than the laurinaitis that was cut by the rams if not the laurinatis that the rams drafted.
InvaderRamModeratorall the early buzz on this guy has been very positive. seems super motivated and confident now that he’s got a full offseason without rehab to work on football. i’m also excited because he keeps talking about working on his skills as a receiver. they have to get him involved in the passing game. can’t waste this guys talent.
i only hope defenses aren’t allowed to just unload on this guy.
InvaderRamModeratorwell. just gotta hope that fisher and williams know what they’re doing here.
InvaderRamModeratori think it’s a good thing. he’ll gain some speed and it’ll also be easier on his knees.
InvaderRamModeratorogletree at middle linebacker both intrigues me and worries me. but the fact that fisher and williams both seem so confident that it’ll work gives me good feelings. this could be a wild success.

InvaderRamModeratorDuring a press conference on Wednesday afternoon, Rams coach Jeff Fisher confirmed that Foles hasn’t been in attendance and said it wasn’t a case of Foles “not wanting to come in and compete” for a job. Fisher called it “more of a mutual thing” as both sides understand that the quarterback’s future isn’t in Los Angeles.
“As it was correctly reported this morning, he has not been here to participate in the offseason program since the draft,” Fisher said. “I’ve had conversations with Nick, we’re on the same page and we’re trying to work things out.”
that makes sense.
InvaderRamModeratornick foles is holding out and no one seems to give a shit.
haha! no offense to foles. i understand why he’d be upset but i find it kind of funny that it’s such a non-issue. or maybe it is.
