I think he wants to be a featured back so I am going to guess some team will give him that and he’s not going to come back,

I have some hope that Talib will keep him in check.

I will be very surprised if they bring Peters back next year unless suddenly a switch turns on for him and he stops making stupid coverage decisions.

We need to cause one more turnover than they do.

And, limit the amount of cute calls in the red zone.

I think, particularly with the run game working, they were intentionally working ball control and time of possession.

It seemed to me that the bad plays (dropped passes/bad throws, etc) and bad calls ended up pretty even by the end of the game.

I loved the two headed rushing monster.

The rams didn’t get as much pressure on the QB as I expected them to get. I expect some of that was scheme to contain Dak, and the cowboys running game, but I still thought they pass rush better.

I’d say brown or Anderson. Should be able to get one of them at a decent price.

I’d add shields to your list figuring he will be even better his second year back.

Anybody else would only be if the price is right.

They got a portion of their mojo back. Online played well.

More jet sweeps was good to see. So was the downhill running. New RB was unbelievable. Just about a perfect game with the exception of the one blitz pickup early.

Mixing in two tight ends was great to see.

I think the team has lacked a sense of urgency the past few games and their issues (oline, etc) have more to do with being in the right emotive state mentally than anywhere else.

Essentially, they need to get their mojo back.

Probably watch the packers bears Jack. Currently living close to Chicago so it will be on 🙂

It looked to me that this was two extraordinarily evenly matched teams.

There kickoff return was better than ours, but we have Hecker. Their offense was slightly better imo (granted Gurley was a little nicked early) but we have Donald.

I don’t think K.C. Lost the game, the Rams won it.

I’d take the Rams at a neutral site, at even money, barely, although i’d be rooting hard for them to win!

But I’d Donald is being doubled 70-80 percent of the time, doesn’t Suh have to be doubled substantially less than that?

Agree he is taking a little attention away from Donald, but the same is true in reverse. My expectation was we’d hear his name more than we are.

Maybe they are both getting a ton of double teams and Fowler and Ebukam will benefit. Then again, Suh is used to double teams and still making plays.

Maybe Suh has slowed down just a hair?

Perhaps they are attempting to expand their lung capacity this week so they can keep up with Kansas City when they return to Los Angeles for the game 🙂

I think it’s 50/50 we sign Fowler to a king term deal.

That would make linebacker less of an emergency.

I’ll add safety to your list.

    Exciting game.

    Waaaay too many personal fouls.

It seems the rams have become slow starters the last several games.

Wilson is a gamer. His running was, unfortunately, impressive.

The new DE was a good pickup. Need to keep the emotions in check.

D seemed to lack inspiration in the first half. They got much better pressure the second half.

    Good game.

I’m still waiting for the defense to gel. Could they miss Talib that much?

Fowler made some plays. That could be big in 3-6 games as he gets more comfortable.

In the video of his being drafted they talked about how his best fit was a 3/4 edge rusher and that in college they used him as a chest piece moving him around. Wade likes his chest pieces. It could work and if he comes in the locker room with the right attitude, can pick up the defense and showed something, then he is probably worth keeping and he should not be too expensive to retain.

Lot of new faces on defense.

I believe given the coaching, they will continue to learn each other, trust each other, and get better over the next 5 games.

    Young receivers came up big.

The hit on cooks should have been targeting imo.

Peters takes chances so he will occasionally be beat. Hopefully not as often as this game.

Hopefully the defense will begin felling around week 8 or 9.

Tough win in the road. Woohoo!

My eyeball test, which is only moderately accurate if that, tells me that most teams thus far have been trying to get the ball out quickly against us.

To be leading the league in pressure percentage given that is pretty cool.

Two very good teams throwing haymakers. Good game. Our defense was slightly better than theirs.

It’s great to see we can still pull out a win when Hekker has an off day.

So folks can put appropriate bets on who is going to come out of the AFC and be trounced by the Rams in the Super Bowl.
