ParticipantIf we can keep contunuity with our coordinators…. This team should be a powerhouse next year. Then again…. That’s how I felt last year and after Spags second year. If this team is not a powerhouse next year… I might have to hurt somebody

ParticipantInteresting breakdown….seems like teams arent able to run so they pass pass pass. Ergo….the revival of sack city.
Herzog
ParticipantHe always seemed like Desmond Howard type….historically, fast shrimps Don’t do well. So far he hasn’t been as good as Deamond Howard.
He is exactly what I was afraid he was going to be.
Herzog
ParticipantMan he is playing a LOT of top 5 defenses lately, without Quick now. If he can cut down on the int’s, than he’s my guy…. But he has to cut down on them

ParticipantBut did Fisher inherit a mess? The team seems to be exactly what it was when he took it over…..a .500 team with massive injuries and an Ill timed coordinater change with a massively bad impact…..he has built the team to that exact point it was when he took it over.
Herzog
ParticipantA shrimp with speed in the first round…..how many times has that EVER worked out. I cant think of one

ParticipantWilliams ruined Brock too….great

Williams biggest sin is ruining Ogletree. Actually hate him for itThe hiring of Williams has been an unmitigated disaster. It has set this team back at least a year.
Spags made the same mistake….choosing big name coordinater over continuity.
What pisses me off is Williams inability to see what was working. It makes me SO MAD

ParticipantWhat is the solution to this teams problems. Other teams have figured out that getting the ball out quicker and running the football is a good way to neutralize a good pass rush. OK, FINE….is there no counter to this strategy? IF there is, what is it?
I think the “exotic” blitzes are just creating opening to dink, dunk, and run.
So far, Fisher’s best defensive coordinater was no defensive coordinater.
Herzog
ParticipantI’m all for it….Something funny is going on….this would even things out a little.
