Eternal RamnationParticipant
Thursday on the road, against a Giants team that owned Washington last year. The ‘Skins should have had more reason to be up for this game, but so did the Giants, who HAD to win this game.
I didn’t see the Redskins game. I had a big work commitment over the weekend and completely forgot to record it. So, I can’t say much about how the Rams played. Judging by what I heard after the game, I’m glad I didn’t record it.
If you still have any recording from 14′ 13′ or 12′ they would be close. It was that team that showed up.
Eternal RamnationParticipantThursday night road teams rarely win. Personally I think Thursday night games should be after a bye.
Eternal RamnationParticipantJust listened to a Steeler’s podcast The guy says Tru doesn’t even belong in the league and is a complete bum ? A very strong opinion I have to question what he bases it on. This season he has been better than any cb on the Steelers. The whole group dismissed the Rams secondary of any value at all.
Eternal RamnationParticipantSeptember 20, 2015 at 4:20 pm in reply to: Rams not a road team yet? (official Wash game response thread) #30939Eternal RamnationParticipantFisher just can’t pull a team together. How many times in his interviews and on his show has he emphatically stated “They know” well they obviously don’t know and neither does he . I’ve had it. 4 years of this shit ,it’s unacceptable.
Eternal RamnationParticipantI’m thinking this game gets ugly for the Washington CEO’s early. I think the Rams shut down Morris and make Cousins beat us. TruJos playin and Jenks is Jenks and Mason and Gurley are possibilities . Their D’s good but I wouldn’t put them in the same zip code as the Seahags even without Chancellor. They were shutting out Miami till right before halftime . The Rams are healthy and have a shit ton of talent. That talent is all maturing together and it’s just bursting out. We go up early 14-0 they can’t run , punt and TAwsome runs one back. They abandon the run and the Rams Offense goes off. 37-19 Rams.
Eternal RamnationParticipantYeah and he could always cover but now he tackles………. Beast Mode………. in the open field ……..by himself !!!!!!!!!!
Eternal RamnationParticipantThe Vikes OL is decimated and starting the season on the West Coast at 9:30 CST when it is 7:30 local time with a young team should be considered but I do agree the 9ers look good on D especially with the large number of players that left.
September 14, 2015 at 3:25 pm in reply to: What does yesterday's victory mean (re: the big picture)? #30485Eternal RamnationParticipantI watched the Washington game 1st half and they are no joke. They can run it , good OL decent D. They were shutting out Miami 10-0 till right before half time. This isn’t last year’s Washington team.
September 14, 2015 at 12:54 pm in reply to: What does yesterday's victory mean (re: the big picture)? #30481Eternal RamnationParticipantI listened to Quinn’s post game interview and what stuck with me is he said the team expected to win. I think that is huge.
Eternal RamnationParticipantHe had a couple of bad passes. Just flat out missed throws.
But then he did things like stick it to Bailey with Sherman and a safety all over him.
And lead a TD drive in the last minute.
I will take it.
TA had Sherman beat but had to hold up to wait for the ball. It was clearly PI.TA’s routes are better and he’s getting open ,becoming a complete wr. Did Givens even play ?
September 13, 2015 at 5:43 pm in reply to: Wow, how thunk that? (Seattle game reaction thread) #30356Eternal RamnationParticipantRFL Donald very nearly had 3 sacks himself but ended 2
September 13, 2015 at 5:14 pm in reply to: All preseason I was the lone voice singing the praises of this team…. #30334Eternal RamnationParticipantand you all mocked me.
Perhaps the next time I tell you the Rams are undisputedly the best team in the league, you’ll believe me.
Yer just Nittany picking
September 13, 2015 at 5:11 pm in reply to: Wow, how thunk that? (Seattle game reaction thread) #30332Eternal RamnationParticipantThat was a well prepared well coached team totally unexpected but warmly welcomed. Foles has guts! He gets knocked down but he gets up and goes right after them. That was a great game to build on. Add Gurley Mason and Quick and it’s going to be fun to watch again. The D has what 6 sacks already? TruJo was looking awesome, hope he gets back soon. And Roberson who I find painful to watch tackle straight out stoned Beast Mode! The guy can play.
Eternal RamnationParticipantI predict the LA Rams will win this one.
Eternal RamnationParticipantGamePass? No, that’s just not acceptable.
What is your beef against GamePass?
You cannot watch live would be my main bitch.
Eternal RamnationParticipantSorry to say but , Ancient Rams Fan you may have a gambling problem
August 30, 2015 at 3:04 am in reply to: Fisher Foles Brown Laurinaitis Mason McDonald Givens…8/29… vids/transcripts #29542Eternal RamnationParticipantThe tackling was better ? I think we may be watching A Weekend At Bernie’s type situation here. Fisher is really dead and they are just propping him up on a podium and playing taped interviews from the last 3 years.
August 25, 2015 at 4:09 am in reply to: Fisher, 8/23 & 8/24 … vid from 1, transcript from the other #29263Eternal RamnationParticipantI don’t know maybe it’s me but Fisher looks to be under more pressure , still the same Fisher speak but the demeanor seems a bit more pressured than I remember.

2010This Fisher’s history at Tenn. The years they won at least 3 preseason games and the years they won at least 3 of the first 4 regular season games
I did not expect the correlation to be this high. 8 times he won 3 preseason games. 5 times he won at least 3 of the first 4 regular season games. 6 times he finished with a winning record. The only outlier is 2002, when he went 11- 5 with less than 3 preseason wins and less than 3 wins in the first 4 regular season games.Maybe preseason victories can mean something?
They sure weren’t holding back in the 2000 preseason.Fisher has zero urgency now and the whole team reflects that. I wonder if the team will be working on fundamentals during the bye or planning their off season vacations.

Corporations are basically small groups of wealthy individuals. Labor unions ? I’m in the USW and we don’t have enough money to buy shit. You can find all the politicians that have been bought by this monstrosity of a corporation.
Eternal RamnationParticipantJimi Rocks!
Eternal RamnationParticipantI hate that fucking flag. In my experience the few people I met that flew that flag were racist and proud of it. The isn’t racist argument was never raised until it was obviously about racism. Someone like the Josh dude once he learned the truth adjusted honestly .

Eternal RamnationParticipantHappy Birthday !
July 18, 2015 at 11:47 pm in reply to: Do the Rams Have the NFC West's Worst Wide Receiver Corps #27377Eternal RamnationParticipantNotice how missing Palmer for half a season is weighted compared to missing Bradford for every game and no mention of Brian Quick. Oh well Kirwan is always a little that way imo anyway.
July 15, 2015 at 12:48 pm in reply to: bleacherreport.com: Grades for Every NFL Team's Offseason #27285Eternal RamnationParticipantJust getting out from under Bradford’s contract along with Long, Wells and Langford should have been mentioned.
