    A lot of pass rushers in free agency this year and supposedly a fairly deep draft class there too. Will pass rusher FA values get deflated?

    #Rams have promoted Jedd Fisch to Ast. OC and Shane Waldron is now the QB coach.

    Rams are still shaking out how coaching staff will look in 2019, but the goal is to keep things as stable for Goff as possible. In reality, McVay always will be OC and QB coach, but Waldron and Fisch are set to have great input.

    Vincent Bonsignore@VinnyBonsignore
    Much like having the very qualified Zac Taylor already on staff to replace Greg Olson last year as the #Rams QB coach, Jedd Fisch and Shane Waldron will assume elevated positions on #Rams offensive staff to offset the loss of Taylor to be the head coach of the #Bengals

    The Ravens have agreed to trade QB Joe Flacco to the Broncos, per reports

    Ian Rapoport@RapSheet
    The #Broncos will now shop QB Case Keenum, who is guaranteed $7M in 2019, I’m told. If they can’t, it’s either a massive paycut or a straight up release. He’d be a top backup.

    Benjamin Allbright@AllbrightNFL
    Keep an eye on Arizona for a potential Case Keenum trade.

    Cameron DaSilva@camdasilva
    Are we sure Flacco is even better than Keenum? Broncos have to eat $10M in dead money if they cut Keenum.

    Evan Silva@evansilva
    Joe Flacco brings to #Broncos:

    * recent history of back & hip injuries at age 34

    * forthcoming salaries of 18.5M (2019) & 20.3M (2020)

    * pocket-sloth mobility

    * 6.3 yards per attempt over the last 4 years

    * last reached 7.0 YPA a half-decade ago

    I think Keenum would be a great replacement for Mannion. I think he was a mentor at some level to Goff. Maybe again?

    His salary is too large.

    The NFL Offseason has become my second favorite sport.

    For the 1st time since I can remember, the Rams had the luxury of letting guys sit/develop/rotate in rather than throwing them into the water right away to see if they sink or swim. That’s a pretty nice luxury to have. But yes, let’s evaluate an entire draft class after one year.

    Kromer saying McVay is first OC/HC that wanted to know what the blocking calls were is crazy!

    Steve Wyche@wyche89
    Kromer told me similar things about McVay including D-line formations and calls. When Kromer said that, I thought, wow, McVay is the first offensive coach you worked with this detailed? You coached with Sean Payton for years.

    Rich Hammond@Rich_Hammond
    I remember talking to Aaron Donald in June/July 2017 and right off the jump, he was impressed with McVay’s ability to thoroughly break down a play from both sides of the ball. That’s (part of) what made Martz’s “Goff’s buddy” stuff so bizarre.

    The Rams are indeed moving some staff around. With Wes Phillips aboard as TEs coach, sources say passing-game coordinator Shane Waldron, who was TEs coach, will become QBs coach. And plan is to hire an assistant QBs coach to work with Waldron

    Just to be clear, too, Waldron will remain PGC. McVay is just moving his position of focus, which makes sense given his role.
