#Rams DL Aaron Donald named only unanimous All-Pro selection

    Myles Simmons@MylesASimmons
#LARams DT Aaron Donald is this year’s only unanimous first-team AP All Pro. RB Todd Gurley also a first-team all pro. P Johnny Hekker, and Cory Littleton (special teamer) named second-team All-Pros.

    Cameron DaSilva@camdasilva
Aaron Donald led the league in sacks, pressures, TFL, QB hits and was the only unanimous first-team All-Pro selection.

And some still don’t think he’s a lock for DPOY.

    This. Isn’t. Hard.

Brandin Cooks received 1 All-Pro vote at “Flex.” Andrew Whitworth got 6, Rodger Saffold 2, Rob Havenstein 3.

Cory ‘Lil Jon’ Littleton missed being a first-team pick on ST by 1 vote.

Gonna give the #Rams some credit here. This is a very non-drama team. They focus on themselves, first and foremost, with the belief the answers come from within. Take care of that and everything else takes care of itself.

    Rams Q&A: Vinny Bonsignore

Who among the upcoming free agents do you believe the Rams will make a priority on retaining?

Saffold. They’d love to have Fowler back. I think everyone else is case by case and based on what sort of upgrades might be available outside the building

I like where their defense has been the last month or so, forcing turnovers not giving up a lot of point. I like how the offense got back to their roots the last two games, balance wise, and how the offensive line bounced back. I think everything is in place for them to make a run. It’s just going to come down to playing clean games

I think the key difference is the experiences they’ve gone through and how they’ve taken everyone’s best punch and how four of their wins came against playoff teams – tied for the most in the NFL – and playing on big stages. I think all of those experiences makes them a much more prepared team heading into the postseason this year

I think collectively they understand the dynamics of playing on such a big stage, having gone through it last year and playing on a bunch of big stages this year. I think they also understand you have to kick it into an even higher gear for the playoffs. And most of all take care of the ball

More than anything, if they just protect Goff and get a good push up front and avoid turnovers I think they can beat anyone out there.

letting Marcus Peters play more zone coverage to take advantage of his read/react skills made a huge difference

Gerald is getting better and better. I was just talking to him the other day about his blocking. There have been some plays where he flat out whipped his man. Add that to he skill as a receiver and I think he has a chance to be a more productive part of the offense moving forward. Tyler, I think, is doing well for the role he’s being asked to play. However, I would not be surprised if the Rams look to upgrade at TE next offseason
