znModeratorPhiladelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio took a couple of shots at Dr. Anthony Fauci over his repeated use of the Fifth Amendment during a Senate hearing on Wednesday.
“I’m gonna be like Fauci and just take the Fifth Amendment on all questions,” Fangio said, when a reporter asked whether Marcus Epps had the inside track on the starting safety job.
“Did you guys see that? Oh my god,” Fangio added, grinning and shaking his head.

It is a thin margin between the Rams and Texans for the top spot in the edge rusher group rankings. The Myles Garrett effect puts Los Angeles in the No. 1 position. He might go down as the greatest player to ever line up on the edge when it is all said and done. It almost does not matter who lines up next to him, but for good measure, the Rams will trot out a Pro Bowler in Young who racked up 29 quarterback hits last year and might be even better in 2026 with Garrett commanding so much attention. The offensive lines that have to contain both Young and the NFL single-season sack record holder are in for long, long, long days.

In his response, Nacua spoke about how it’s the way Scheelhaase teaches that gives him the ultimate edge.
“I’d say the game has definitely slowed down,” Nacua said. “I can still vividly remember my first pass from Matthew Stafford in Seattle in 2023. Just sprinting full speed in there and him being like, ‘Yo, slow down.’ So I think the game has definitely slowed down, but then also having communication. I think as somebody said just recently, having Coach Nate Scheelhaase move into the offensive coordinator position, some of the things that he is communicating, some of the changes in our offense are things that he’s said in our receiver room.
“So being on the same page with him and then, obviously, being on the same page as Matthew. There are a lot of times where the defense feels like they’re in the best position and then No. 9 finds a way to create holes that aren’t really there. It’s always fun to be on the same pages and we continue to work.”

Williams was taken in the fifth round back in 2022 and has significantly outperformed that draft position over the last few seasons.
His 220 carries that have gone for a first down or touchdown since 2023 are second to only Derrick Henry. Williams is also fifth among all running backs in that span with 143 forced missed tackles and 2,434 yards after contact.

Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams
Kyren Williams is the star of the Rams’ backfield, but Corum should not be forgotten as a productive option. In 2025, he was one of just seven running backs to average at least 5.0 yards per carry. Corum also ranked seventh among that same group with an 85.8 PFF rushing grade and has yet to fumble any of his 229 career carries.

Thats funny.
I love the fact the Rams didnt extend Nacua’s contract. And i love the fact that he Appears to get why. I was very skeptical of Nacua ever changing. But i’m cautiously optimistic about him now.
Just gotta somehow stay healthy while still playing like a wrecking ball. Dunno how long he can last but thats his game.

I love the fact that he eliminated some people from his life. To me that’s a very good sign.
You know, he’s a kid. He came into the league in the 5th round and quickly became a celebrity, a star, a prominent face, not only of the franchise, but of the league. He had a wake-up call. “Hey. Be an adult. If you want this, step up. Be a leader. Be a man.”
And it’s far too early to pronounce any judgement. The jury will be out for most, if not all of the season.
But so far, so good.
Meanwhile, just remember, “No. 9 finds a way to create holes that aren’t really there.”
August 1, 2026 at 12:56 pm #165144znModeratorOne of the pleasant surprises from Los Angeles Rams training camp is the emergence of rookie receiver CJ Daniels….It appears his playmaking ability is translating into the NFL as he’s been a noted standout performer through the team’s non-padded practices. His teammate and league-leading pass catcher, Puka Nacua, was asked about Daniels, diving into the reasons why he is made for the moment.
“I think there’s a confidence when he goes out there in the football field of his skill set,” stated Nacua. “I feel like everybody in our receiver room, we’re blessed to have Davante Adams and to be able to ask questions because of the amount of experience that he’s been able to have throughout this NFL career. He’s the first one to ask questions, similar to Ty Simpson.
“You’re getting reps so there’s obviously opportunities for us to coach, but to ask questions when it’s not his rep. I think that’s something that CJ has gone out of his way to make sure that he’s got to have an understanding of what we’re thinking and what obviously is that the game plan that we have in our offensive plays.”

“Trent McDuffie has checked every box, as a guy who can play field, boundary and slot corner, and is a tough, physical tone-setter—I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a captain in his first year as a Ram.”

Davante Adams caught a nifty back-shoulder touchdown right over Trent McDuffie from Matthew Stafford in the red zone to get the crowd roaring.The most fun part of camp so far has been these WR-CB battles. So much talent on both sides.
Ty Simpson had a nice TD throw to CJ Daniels between two defenders in the back of the end zone.
Another day of the 6th-round rookie WR making some plays,
