canadaramParticipantI’m ok with them. I appreciate the font used on the numbers and am grateful that it appears the numbers are not made from that weird looking rubber they use for the other jerseys. I don’t think that I will ever embrace the broken horn on the helmet, however.

I like the primary blue the best (middle/3rd from left)
That one ranks the highest. The next 2 are okay, 2nd tier, I have no objection.
I like the whites 2nd best (1st on left)
I like the white jersey/yellow pants 3rd (4th from left)
The next 2 have problems.
I like the yellow jersey/white pants the least of all of them. It just looks wrong.
The black looks okay, it’s just that black feels wrong.

That’s about how I have it, too. I would probably rate the Fearsome White highest if it weren’t for the borders/shading that makes it look too Carolina-ish. Apparently, we won’t be seeing that uniform until the Wed. night game against the Packers in late November.
I don’t like the Classic Sol, either, but it does have the saving grace that it is in honor of the 75th anniversary of the 1951 championship team, and I think we are only going to see it twice (though that could change): Week Two (MNF) against the Giants, and Week 13 against the Chiefs.
The black one is scheduled only once: Week 14 against in SF in one of those Nike Bowl scams.
The other two (middle and 4th from left) are the default Home/Away uniforms, so we will be seeing mostly those.
And I am happy the Bone uniforms are gone. I like this setup better than any other in years.

They shut out Joe Montana for the first time in his career. 16-0. I remember watching that game with my brother in the mid 90s at San Jose Live, a sports bar in San Jose CA. We used to watch Ram games there before Sunday Ticket with a small group of hardcore underdog Ram fans. We were surprised to see Chris Chandler, Jerome Bettis and the Chuck Knox defense win on the road in KC with 3 ints…
Anyway, I remember they flashed a stat during that game that: The last time the Rams played in KC (1985) the Rams also won 16-0….. so I looked up the box scores for both those games today….
Dieter Brock 9-for 20 with 68 yards passing. The Rams picked Todd Blackledge 6 times… I think people forget how great the Anaheim Rams defense was that season….
BTW, I looked up Joe Montana’s passer rating for the 1994 game…. 28.5 with 3 picks.
Rams should’ve kept Chuck Knox and Chris Chandler over Rich Brooks and Chris Miller.
BTW II, not exactly Classic Sol, but The Rams wore Mustard Yellow vs the Chiefs in Jared Goff’s 7 TD performance in the 54-52 shoot out at the LAMC while LA was on fire.

Rosenbloom liked the darker blue and white because the sharp contrast looked better on the black and white TV sets of the 1960s (which most people had) than the royal blue and yellow. In 73 they switched back to blue and yellow because color TVs became the norm.

I feel like Zygmunt was ok as Vice President. But then as senior executive grand imperial vice president things went off track.

I didn’t like him even then. He had a weasley way of undermining Vermeil that Bernie Miklasz used to encourage with his “inside source” approach to benefitting whoever he saw as giving him the strongest position as an “access reporter.” Zygmunt then contributed to the campaign to undermine Kevin Carter in public in 2000, even though Carter was dealing with a back issue from the 99 season. In fact Zygmunt always was the “leak bad press” guy when it came to dealing with Rams players, and that even included Warner when Kurt was up for a contract after 99.
I always thought that weasley kind of stuff indicated he was a petty man who did not really know how to run a team.
He did not fall out of favor among Rams fans, however, until he and Martz began clashing. That clash brought out the worst in both of them, and it had a disastrous effect on the team. Then hiring Linehan as a mousey “yes man” coach pretty much completely exposed what to me anyway Zygmunt actually was all along.
Granted McVay had a bit of that in how he handled Goff from 2019 through 2020 but I actually believe Sean learned from that and adjusted his approach to team controversies.
So that, fwiw, is my contribution to the Rams new uniform discussion.

“Be it (Mike) Martz or another man, I don’t care who sits in the head coach’s office at Rams Park. The head coach should be backed, not back-stabbed, by associates,” Miklasz wrote.
Suleiman left a message on Miklasz’s voice mail, stating, in part, “Tell your source that I’m not a back-stabber, I’m a (expletive) throat slasher, and he’ll know the difference before it’s all said and done.”
Suleiman, director of football administration, has worked for the Rams for six years. He assists president of football operations Jay Zygmunt on salary cap issues and contract negotiations.
