    Looking good. Very good.

So…New Orleans appears – at the moment – to be the greatest threat. Chicago the second greatest threat.

Long way to go still, however, and…Minnesota, Philadelphia, and Green Bay maybe all still have time to turn it around?

    Carolina a Dark Horse?

Atlanta, TB, and everyone else a goner at this point?

I don’t watch much football that is not Rams, so I’m not up on these other teams…so…

    What do you guys think?

Well I think that the Rams being frontrunners means that every team they play brings their A game.

Though in some cases that doesn’t mean much. Some teams don’t have much of an A game.

But in some cases it does.

One advantage: they just plain own their division.

Their remaining schedule, with tough games marked in red, and genuine danger games marked in purple. All IMO.

    6 Sun October 14 @ Denver Broncos
    7 Sun October 21 @ San Francisco 49ers
8 Sun October 28 Green Bay Packers
9 Sun November 4 @ New Orleans Saints
10 Sun November 11 Seattle Seahawks
11 Mon November 19 Kansas City Chiefs

    12 Bye Week
    13 Sun December 2 @ Detroit Lions
    14 Sun December 9 @ Chicago Bears
15 Sun December 16 Philadelphia Eagles

    16 Sun December 23 @ Arizona Cardinals
    17 Sun December 30 San Francisco 49ers

BTW, I listed the Denver game as a tough one for a couple of reasons.

    * Denver home field, altitude (As PFF puts it, “Denver…has been a much better outfit at home this year than on the road.”)

    * weather

    * Denver being challenged by the coach…sometimes this works, especially in a first home game after an embarassing road loss

It certainly isn’t because Denver is a powerhouse.

Their offense is 12th in yards but 27th in points. They may be missing both starting OTs.

Their defense is 26th in yards, 23rd in points, and 30th in rushing yards allowed.

Playing in Denver worries me too…. never an easy win there for any NFL team especially in the snow.

BTW the last win by the Anaheim Rams was against John Elway’s Broncos

Even if they go 3-3 against the highlighted teams on that schedule, the path to having HFA throughout the playoffs is wide open to them. The Saints schedule is tougher IMO.

Barring injury, they’ll have to really choke to mess it up.

I agree with this. There won’t be any easy game. This is a big game for everyone who plays the Rams–ESPECIALLY while they carry the undefeated flag. Beating them could really turn things around for a team like Denver. By the way–Denver plays an away game on Thursday after the Rams game so I don’t know if that will affect them for this one.

I worry that the Seahawks game wore them out a little bit right before a second road trip and one in Denver at that. How tired will the Rams be? Denver is pissed as well–after a bad game at New York.

I agree with your list, zn but I might put Chicago in purple. Although I am not impressed with Tribisky.

Also this team is handicapped every year by only having 7 true home games. Yes, the Mexico game isn’t as bad as traveling to England but it is still one less home game. I hope when the new stadium is built they back away from that a little.
