I took out your interview post because it already existed in a thread (here): http://theramshuddle.com/topic/rams-qb-jared-goff-in-feb/#post-80745

Often if there are double posts I just take out mine, and let the new one stand, without saying anything. I can’t do that, though, if the first one already has discussion responses, which is the case this time.

As a rule you can usually count on there already being a Goff thread going. The recent one is called “Rams QB Jared Goff in Feb.” That’s what I linked you to.

I never want “double post” messages like this one to sound admonishing. I would rather have people double-posting than refraining. It’s easy to fix and is just simple mod clean-up duty. So thanks for posting that, but as it happens this one time, I had to take it out. Happens. Shrug.

    thank you.

the Rapaport interview with Goff was very good. he also had a great interview on a different podcast with Matt Barnes (NBA / Warriors)

I don’t follow very many sports podcasters, but Rapaport is one of them.

BTW, Rapaport’s small roll in the movie “True Romance” is underrated…… Great movie, but a bit violent.

Rapaport played Cristian Slater’s buddy in True Romance…..

Slater ends up with the case of cocaine that he had inadvertently stolen from his girl friend’s pimp in LA. (Gary Oldman, btw, played the crazy pimp in that movie)

Slater want’s to sell his large amount of cocaine, but he’s not into drugs thus, knows no cliental for the product…..

Slater asks Rapaport, who plays an aspiring actor, if Rapaport knows anyone in the Hollywood business that would buy the coke. Rapaport introduces Slater to Bronson Pichot, who knows a movie director that might be interested in a transaction…., code name “Dr. Zhivago”

Rapaport was also Brad Pitt’s stoner roommate in the movie, Brad mistakenly helped the mob try to trace Slater and the missing cocaine.

I just saw the movie again the other day… good cast, it even has Tony Soprano in the movie as one of the mob henchmen… I didn’t realize that Val Kilmer was in the movie too… he played Elvis, Slater’s imaginary mentor….

great but very bloody Tarrentino violence, love story movie ….. just in time for Valentine’s Day.
