    The famous dinosaurs that lived in western North America at the end of the “age of dinosaurs” like Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus may have ventured into eastern North America as well. During the late Cretaceous the eastern and western parts of North America were separated by a shallow inland sea. Towards the end the sea began to drain away as the Rockies continued to rise. It had long been speculated that the western dinosaurs could have traveled to the eastern US before the extinction event wiped them out. Now we have our first evidence that this happened. A tooth very similar and perhaps belonging to a Triceratops has been found in Mississippi…

    A tooth very similar and perhaps belonging to a Triceratops has been found in Mississippi

    Oh I have a ton of those. They were just there when I turned over the ground to make my gardens. I used them to border the garden.

    So, they’re important?

    Maybe I shouldn’t have painted them to make a more decorative border.

    Yes and perhaps you should turn over that tyrannosaur skull you’re using as an ottoman to a local museum or university. After you remove the upholstery of course.
