from PFF grades [for] Week 14 blowout win: https://www.turfshowtimes.com/los-angeles-rams-scores-results/131366/rams-cardinals-pff-grades-nate-landman?utm_campaign=dhtwitter&utm_content=%3Cmedia_url%3E&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter

    Top five grades on offense

    1 – Puka Nacua, WR: 97.4
What is there left to say about Puka Nacua? He hadn’t been filling up the stat sheet as much as we are accustomed to in recent weeks, but he blew the lid off this game and was clearly the best player on the field. He finished with seven receptions on 10 targets for 167 yards and two scores. Just 32 yards came after the catch, which is somewhat unusual for him.

    2 – Matthew Stafford, QB: 93.9
The offensive line allowed just two pressures on the day and provided time for Matthew Stafford to find his targets downfield. This was the most vertical as we’ve seen of the connection between Stafford and Nacua

    3 – Alaric Jackson, LT: 92.1
Jackson was basically perfect in this game. He earned an impressive run blocking grade of 94.5 and drew a pass blocking grade of 86.8 without a pressure. Jackson was flagged once for a penalty.

    4 – Blake Corum, RB: 91.9
    5 – Kyren Williams, RB: 83.4

    Top five grades on defense

    1 – Nate Landman, MLB: 87.4
Landman made one of the biggest plays on the day for the defense. His interception of Jacoby Brissett set up an offensive touchdown. He also recorded one pass breakup and drew a PFF coverage grade of 90.4. He missed a tackle and that lowered his overall grade.

    2 – Josaiah Stewart, EDGE: 83.4
There have only been two games this season where Stewart played less than 20 snaps. He had 25 against the Cardinals, meaning he wasn’t only on the field during garbage time. The rookie has a real role on this defense and makes a difference when given the opportunity. Sunday was one of his most productive pass rush outings on the season—he recorded three and brought his total to-date to 16.

    3 – Josh Wallace, SCB: 80.7
After a rough debut against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Josh Wallace has steadied the ship in Quentin Lake’s absence and performed well over the last two weeks.

In this game he was targeted five times, allowing just two receptions for 11 yards with a PBU. He fared well in run defense with a grade of 74.5 (highest on the defense), but he missed both of his tackle attempts for a tackling grade of 25.8. It’s something to monitor moving forward.

    4 – Desjuan Johnson, EDGE: 77.8
This was the first time Johnson played a defensive snap since Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles. He made the most of his opportunity and tied Byron Young for a team lead with six pressures. Rookie Ty Hamilton was inactive for the first time in a while, but it does beg the question why Johnson hasn’t been playing over Hamilton all season long. They play different positions, sure, but Johnson for most of his career has been an interior player and in theory could provide inside/outside versatility. That flexibility alone should dress him on gamedays.

    5 – Kobie Turner, DT: 74.6
Turner finished just behind Young and Johnson with five pressures. Jared Verse, Braden Fiske, and Stewart all had three apiece.

    Other notes on defense
It simply wasn’t a good day for the Rams’ secondary. Kamren Kinchens and Emmanuel Forbes both allowed touchdowns to Michael Wilson. They graded 14th and 20th of 21 players on defense, respectively.

Forbes allowed receptions on four of five targets for 50 yards, the aforementioned score, with a pass breakup. Kinchens was only targeted on the touchdown that he allowed.

But veteran Ahkello Witherspoon was the worst graded individual of all who appeared on defense. He missed two of six tackle attempts—good for a tackling grade of just 28.7. He also drew a coverage grade of 36.2, allowing six catches on seven targets for 91 yards and a passer rating of 118.8.

Warren McClendon Jr. has given up 0 sacks and 6 pressures this entire season.

    Rams Bros.@RamsBrothers
Rob Havenstein will be great depth in the post-season. But there’s no way in hell he enters the starting lineup again with how well Warren McClendon is playing.

Rams found their RT of the future. And he’s homegrown.

ME: A testimony to both the personnel people and the OL coach.

Rams starting tackles, with Hav sidelined…or at least their projected 2026 OTs…are a UDFA at LOT and a 5th rounder at ROT. Both playing well.

Finding a low-round pick who can play ROT is not rare (eg. Miller in 99, who was a 5th rounder). Finding a good franchise LOT as a UDFA is very rare. And I can’t think of any team that did both things on the same OL.

    from https://theramswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/rams/2025/12/08/rams-offense-did-something-for-the-first-time-since-the-1950s/87669072007/

The Los Angeles Rams offense was on fired in Week 14.

Sean McVay’s squad scored 45 points in a huge win over the Arizona Cardinals, including three passing and three rushing touchdowns. That production broke a 20-year record for the franchise, but the overall performance did something no team has done in almost 75 years.

This Rams team was the first since Norm Van Brocklin’s Rams team in 1954 to finish a non-overtime game with at least 530 total yards of offense, convert 30 first downs and not turn the ball over, according to Pro Football Reference via The Athletic. Matthew Stafford finished with 281 through the air himself, while the rushing attack finished with 249 yards, including 128 from Blake Corum and 84 from Kyren Williams.

Rams TE Colby Parkinson on Matthew Stafford:

“He understands the game unlike anyone I’ve played with before.”

Stafford’s 35 TD passes are 9 more than any other QB this season.

The tight ends have been a key piece of that with 10 TDs, including 4 from Parkinson.

    Sarah Barshop@sarahbarshop
Stafford has 35 touchdown passes, which is 9 more than the next closest QB.

It’s the 6th time over the last 30 seasons a QB has at least 9 more TD passes than the next closest player through Week 14.

The previous five times, that QB won the NFL MVP.

There have been 2 QBs in NFL history with 35+ passing TDs and 4 or fewer INTs through 14 weeks in a season.

    Aaron Rodgers (2020)
    Matthew Stafford (2025)

Since their bye week, the Rams’ run game has been the most efficient in the league based on multiple metrics.

They rank 1st in EPA per carry, success rate, early-down success rate, late-down success rate and first-down rate, all by large margins, since Week 9.

Rookie LB Shaun Dolan currently ranks T-10th in the NFL in special teams tackles (15). It’s the most for any rookie in the NFL this season.

josaiah stewart and warren mcclendon have been the two biggest surprises for me this season. especially mcclendon. lessens the need to draft a tackle in 2026.

Echoing the posts about McClendon. Excellent to have found a young starter so late in the Draft, especially in a position of need. Not as golden as uncovering Puka, but still exceptional.

The Rams really answered the bell Sunday, and for most of this season. Bravo!

Alaric Jackson in Week 14 vs. Cardinals:

0 sacks allowed, 0 pressures allowed, 0 quarterback hits allowed and 0 hurries allowed (31 pass blocking snaps)

Jackson hasn’t allowed a quarterback hit in his last three games and only one pressure in his last two outings (TruMedia).
