Matthew Stafford…has a chance Sunday to break the NFL’s all-time record for most consecutive touchdown passes without an interception; he currently is tied with Tom Brady, who threw 27 straight TD passes without an interception in 2010-’11.

According to @NextGenStats, Matthew Stafford has thrown 24 touchdowns against the blitz this season, more than double that of any other quarterback heading into Week 13, while not throwing a single interception.

Will be interesting to see how the Rams approach the CB rotation this week with Witherspoon back. They’ve been using a 3-man rotation for most of the season, and it’s worked well

    Signs of the Rams’ dominance:

🏈Rams have won six straight games and in their past five games, they have outscored their opponents 63-3 in the first quarter.

🏈Against the Jaguars, 49ers and Buccaneers, they have held leads of 21-0.

🏈The Rams haven’t trailed since the first quarter of Week 6, when Baltimore led Los Angeles 3-0.

WR Davante Adams extended his streak to six games and tied Henry Ellard for the longest streak of regular season games with a receiving touchdown in franchise history. He also became the first Ram to have six straight games with receiving touchdown in a single season since Elroy Hirsch in 1951 (10 straight).

Adams also tied Antonio Gates (116) for the 7th-most touchdown receptions all-time.

Rams are frauds. One of the worst losses of the McVay era

I know it’s no fun in the moment, but great teams drop a road game sometimes.

The worst team I have ever covered was the 2022 Colts and they beat the Chiefs in a similar game to this… and KC went on to win the Super Bowl.

The second-worst team I’ve covered was the 2018 Lions and they beat the Patriots by 16… and the Pats won the Super Bowl that year.

this is the first time since the 1970 merger that 3+ nfc west teams have won 9+ games thru wk 13 in the same year.

and it’s only the second time it’s happened in the nfc since the merger, the first was last year in the nfc north when det, min, and gby all had 9+ wins thru wk 13.

The sense I got isn’t that the Rams underestimated the Panthers or weren’t prepared, but they were lax on the details — ball security, clock management, run fits, defensive communication, etc.

from Nate Atkins, The Athletic: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6850380/2025/11/30/rams-matthew-stafford-loss-panthers/?source=emp_shared_article

there the Rams were in the red zone with just over two minutes remaining, down three points, desperate to avoid asking a young kicker to tie the score in rainy conditions on the road and instead searching for every pre-snap advantage so that Stafford could lead a 40th career fourth-quarter comeback.

And right as he went to snap the ball, the flag came out for a delay of game.

“I can’t take that. That’s on nobody but me,” Stafford said. “I have to get that thing off. I thought I had enough time, and I thought I was going to be snapping it right at one slash zero. … I thought I did a good enough job, but I did not.”

Had the situation remained a third-and-5 from the Panthers’ 17, the Rams could have run two plays to convert. With two timeouts and a two-minute warning, they could have leaned on a run game enjoying its best day of the season behind an offensive line that was throwing Carolina defenders to the side. But once it became an obvious dropback situation on third-and-10, the advantages of unpredictability and a wide-open playbook that got the Rams this far disappeared. And then the ball came free.

Matthew Stafford has the 7th-most votes of any player in the initial Pro Bowl ballot.

Somehow searching for just his third Pro Bowl nod.

Other Rams in the top 10 at their positions in the initial Pro Bowl fan vote:

    – Puka Nacua 3rd at WR
    – Cobie Durant 4th at CB
    – Emmanuel Forbes Jr. 5th at CB
    – Nate Landman 3rd at ILB
    – Kam Curl 1st at SS
    – Ethan Evans 9th at P
    – Shaun Dolac 9th at ST
    – Byron Young 3rd at OLB
    – Jared Verse 6th at OLB

Davante Adams not being top 10 is surprising, even as random as these are. His 14 receiving TDs are 5 more than any other player.

Yes. Ditto that. That delay of game penalty, c’mon. The Rams just looked like they were running a camp practice.

Only one of those players carried a lead pipe, though.

This season marks the third time Davante Adams has recorded 14+ receiving TDs in a single season. Only Jerry Rice (6), Randy Moss (4) and Terrell Owens (4) had more such seasons in NFL history.
