There are 13 UDFA starters along the OL in Week 1.6 of them are centers and 9 have played center some or most of their pro career.
The one position where hard-to-measure traits like mental processing, football intelligence, confidence, self-assuredness and moxy can allow you to stick for a contract, two or more in the league. It’s partly why I love studying the position so much. So many ‘dark horse’ sort of players emerge because they are some combination of technician, A+ leader and prick lol.

znModeratorthe rams will face just 5 teams that made the postseason in 2024, only the 49ers and saints will face fewer (4)… on the flip side, the lions and eagles will face the most 2024 postseason teams, 11 each. đ”
the rams will also face 10 teams that posted losing records in 2024. pic.twitter.com/1suhuBhKX5

ZooeyModeratorYeah. That “playoff opponents” list doesn’t tell us much, though.
The Rams have six games against SF, AZ, and SEA that don’t show up on that list, and all of those games are against teams good enough to be in the playoffs THIS season. Which is the season that matters most to the Rams right now. And to their ill-prepared fans.

nittany ramModeratorYeah. That âplayoff opponentsâ list doesnât tell us much, though.
True.
Not facing many opponents that made the playoffs doesnât really mean much in regards to a teamâs success.
For example, when the Dodgers saw they were playing the Pirates this week, they probably saw that as an opportunity to strengthen their grip on the NL West.
After all, the Pirates arenât a playoff team. Hell, they havenât sniffed the playoffs since the 90âs, which belies their storied history as one of baseballâs greatest franchises.
But what happened?
The Pirates channeled the spirits of legends past and beat the Dodgers not once, not twice, but three straight times. With San Diego in the midst of a 4 game losing streak, the Dodgers had a chance to essentially lock up their division.
Easy peasy, right?
You would think so, especially if you buy into the delusion that a schedule laden with non-playoff opponents was some sort of guarantee of success.
But you would be wrong, as the proud young men in black and gold demonstrated so vividly to the Dodgers over the past several days.
So good on you Zooey, for not buying into the playoff opponent hype.

Would you like to borrow a handkerchief? You’ve got a little venom dripping down your chin, sir.

wvParticipantFrom what i read, about SIX new teams make the playoffs in the NFL every year. Each year is different but thats the average.
Now if you understand deep-algebra, that means, the Rams will go undefeated and win the Super Bowl.

And to answer your question, no, I didnât know Zooey was a Scientologist. It does add up now that you mention it, though.

Has Penn State been playing the Pirates?
It would explain a lot.
