We do realize the Chiefs threw screens, moved the pocket, took play action pass shots, attempted quick passes, helped their offensive line, etc…They could have run the ball more. But the Tampa defense just dominated them. Sometimes it can be that simple.

It’s pretty simple. The Chiefs will need Mahomes to be Mahomes to win this game. The Chiefs are calling the game to protect their OL.

The Bucs’ D has been able to put consistent pressure on Mahomes. He’s uncomfortable and out of sync as a passer. TB12 and the offense needs to take advantage of defense’s success by putting points on the board. KC can get hot in a hurry. Need to build a cushion while they’re cold

Other teams have attempted to utilize similar tactics vs KC but the Bucs’ team speed and pass rush has made the game plan come to life. If you’re a team builder watching this game, it’s about speed and pass rushers. Having an A+ defensive coordinator also helps.
