wvParticipantSame problem last year. There were a few times last year where the OL just got handled. I was saying all along that this year’s OL is better than last year’s…but they backslid. So who knows if it’s really better.
======
Yup. Same problem. But luckily they drafted Tutu instead
of an OLineman, so I am optimistic.w
v
wvParticipantThe rams did not ‘beat themselves.’ They were mauled.
Just say that.Yes, they made tons of ‘mistakes’ but they were forced
mistakes.w
v
wvParticipantYeah, i was afraid that would happen – physical butt-kicking.
Could be a valuable learning experience, though. Could be
they just have trouble with a physical bullying team. We’ll see.Lots of what happened is correctable. Whats not correctable is an
OLine that cant hold up to a defense like the Titans. If they played again, I would not bet against the Rams,
but I still think it would be a very close game.w
v
wvParticipantThat was the part I was referring to in the beginning of my post. That’s all “lawyer speak.” He knew what the question was, and he evaded the answer on a language technicality, and gave an answer that he knew would be interpreted as “Yes, I am vaccinated.”
He can maybe get away with that in a court of law, but not in my personal estimation. He deliberately misled his audience to a false conclusion.
==========
Oh yeah. He’s a weasel.
It will be interesting to see how he spins it
when next he talks to the peoples.I still remember the late 60’s and 70’s. Back when football was
just about football. And we were all idiots.w
v
wvParticipantWell, I’ve never gotten over the physical butt-kicking the
Eddie-George-McNair-Fisher-Titans
put on Kurt Warner and the Rams back in that 1999 regular season
game. The comeback that fell short.Seems like the Titans are always a physical, punishing, team.
And now they will rally around domestic-abuser Adrian Peterson.I dont like it. Not sure the rams are tough enough for this.
We’ll see.w
v
wvParticipantBut those clips (and I didn’t watch them all the way through) look to me like people who just don’t like Rogers personally, and are piling on.
I’ll bet if they liked Rogers personally, their opinions about this would be shaped differently.
=========
Fwiw, in the 2nd clip, at the 6 minute mark, I think the dude
has an interesting take on it.w

wvParticipant
wvParticipantThe Q phenomenon is quite simply, soul-crushing.
The coupling of the Libshits and the Q-shits
is…ineffable. In a bad way. What is a word for
“ineffable in a bad way” ?w
vNovember 4, 2021 at 4:36 pm in reply to: Stafford thread (starting 10/21, going into week 7) #133650
wvParticipantStafford has elevated the front office
to the point the rams now have Von Miller.w
vNovember 3, 2021 at 8:41 pm in reply to: McVay: Rams vs. Titans – Stafford & Von Miller talk – Press Conference 11/3 #133630
wvParticipantVon seems really…nice. I’d never heard him talk before.
Easy player to root for.I love that he mentioned the ‘fearsome foursome.’
IF he’s healthy…IF…he’s healthy…Donald, Floyd, Von, Joseph-Day/Gaines…
…damn. Could be special. Fearsome. Its possible.w
vNovember 3, 2021 at 8:21 pm in reply to: Who will replace Tutu Atwell as the LA Rams return man? #133628
wvParticipantSince the rams special-teams-blockers cant block,
I do NOT want to see anymore skinny-scrawny-teeny-tiny youngsters
returning kicks.Forget the dreams of long returns, and just put a big strong
Cullen-Bryant-type of player back there and just
keep it simple: Catch ball, Two hands on Ball, Go straight ahead,
Fall down on contact, Give Ball to Stafford.w
v
wvParticipant… It’s bad enough that we have floods, famines, and diseases without human idiocy added to the mix.
———
Speaking of idiocy, I see Role-Model to millions of cheese-head kids,
Aaron-Rogers, was relying on a
vaccination-alternative of some sort. And so it goes.
w
v
wvParticipantThere’s a report he was driving 156 miles per hour.
w
vNovember 3, 2021 at 11:14 am in reply to: Jackson, 34, was willing to stay with the Rams, but Rams opted to move on #133607
wvParticipantI think this was a really bad decision by the Rams.
And when Kupp breaks down, they will regret it.w
v
wvParticipantListen to Mark Sanchez talk about Von Miller
and what he brings to the ‘blueprint’ used against Kyler M.———
wvParticipantI remember getting all excited when I heard Suh was gonna be on the line
with Donald. That one was disappointing. Never really lived up to
the expectations.I’m excited again.
Old Ram fans have a thing about DLines,
I guess.w
v
wvParticipant
wvParticipantMetrics guy doesnt like the trade. Sez Von aint the same player he wuz.
—
wvParticipantwhole-lee shit
w
v
wvParticipant..impressive numbers, but there it just feels like there are loose parts. This team makes too many unforced errors to win it all.
Of course, there is still plenty of time, but looking at the next 5 games
… I think we will really see if the Rams are contenders or pretenders now.==========
Yeah, the second-season starts next week. Its basically playoff-positioning season now. Dallas, Packers, Rams, Bucs, Cards. Probly one or two others.
I dont see a clear favorite yet. One of those teams is gonna be healthy
and hot, come playoff time. You can make a case for any of those teams,
and its ‘very’ close, but as of now, i think the Rams have a tiny edge.Because of Stafford. Simple as that.
w
v
wvParticipantTerrible call against the Texans on that fourth down play,
when it was ten to zip.Rams probly dont beat the spread
if thats called correctly.Texans are awful. Less said about this game the better.
Next:
Titans

at GB

wvParticipant‘Lurch’ did tons of tv spots that you didnt know about:
——–
wvParticipantHe’s Kupp insurance.
And i expect Kupp to break at some point.
Its a mistake to trade him, imho.w
v
wvParticipantAnd the thing is, we know Les Snead is good at his job, and has
made a lot of solid picks and deals, but….the Tutu thing was BAD.
Because almost all of us KNEW you just dont make that pick.
You just dont.I will never ever understand that pick.
Coulda had a solid young OLineman.

I set the vid to the 41 minute mark:October 29, 2021 at 7:34 pm in reply to: Kroenke ..wants to share relocation legal fees ESPN #133448
wvParticipantThe headline still cracks me up.
========
“financial pivot”
I wonder if, in the history of the US, there’s ever
been an article about poor people where the headline
had the term ‘financial pivot’ in it.Go rams.
w
v
wvParticipantI watched some vids. The celebrity-talking-heads have decided
the cardinals are bums now. Worst team in the NFL. In big trouble.
Flawed. Losers.Glad they are finally seeing clearly.

wvParticipantJet game. Thats all I’m sayin.
w
v
wvParticipantIn all my decades, I’ve never heard of a Judge ruling that
neither side can call the dead people ‘victims.’I mean, I can understand the defense calling them looters
etc, if they have some credible evidence of that, etc,
but to rule that neither side can call them victims
is….something I’ve never heard of.w
