wvParticipantGood teams play like that against
bad teams.5-1. So far, so good.

The cops boasted that "the anarchist point of view is the most disruptive element in the New Left" and could be used to demonize Vietnam & the USSRhttps://t.co/qgQPcvzx2n

Sigh.

wvParticipantThe white sports-celebs are cringy and hard to watch on these vids.
They are all “shocked” about Gruden.
The black sports-celebs are, like, “uh,huh”w

wvParticipantThe ’22nd in rushing’ stat is interesting.
They dont have a dynamic, explosive running game, like, say
the Browns, but it looks to me, like maybe its “just good enuff.”I think if Goff was Quarterbacking they would be 28th, btw.
Stafford forces teams to defend the whole field. Has to help
the running game a little, I would think.Henderson looks like a good ‘complimentary’ back. Not a work-horse.
Sony Michel looks very ordinary to me.Situation makes me think about the GSOT. All those outside-weapons, a Hall of Fame QB, AND a Hall of Fame RB/WR/player-coach. Are you kidding me?

wvParticipantYou and your Seahawk compatriots at wikipedia can try to minimize the accomplishments of the Rams all you want, but I won’t stand by and let your fake news go unchallenged.
Merlin Olsen played in 56 Pro Bowls, not 14. Elvis Peacock is second with 54. Look it up.
The Rams record for sacks in a game is 47, and they did it 27 times, most recently last Thursday against your beloved Russell Zorn.
And somehow your NFL historical “scholars” completely overlooked this little tidbit…
“The NFL team record for safeties in a game is three, which all occurred when the Los Angeles Rams recorded 3 against the New York Giants on September 30, 1984. The individual record is two, by the Rams’ Fred Dryer against the Green Bay Packers on October 21, 1973.”
====
In NONE of those games, were ANY of the players vaccinated
for Covid. ALL those records were set by Un-Vaxt players.I think my point is quite clear.

wvParticipantI dunno. Pete Carroll built one of the best defenses in NFL history.
That Legion of Boom was maybe the best ‘new NFL rules’ defense
Ive seen.I just cant ‘cancel’ PC.
The Seahawks were right there with the Rams at the end. If Lockett
doesnt trip…As far as McV and his new Stafford-approach — I’m fine with it. I assume
they are both still adjusting and working out timing, and tinkering.
The loss of Akers was big. Staffords finger injury is significant.
Stafford is still working on the timing with his WRs.Barring injury — I assume the offense will be on an upward trajectory
all year.Just gotta hope the Defensive stars make just enuff big plays
to win the big games. Cause overall, the defense is not gonna be soundw
v
wvParticipantOkay, just watched it.
Was there a second reference? I missed it, but I was pretty sleepy. The one at the beginning…if that was controversial, I don’t know what to say.

There was a part1 and a part2. Two separate jokes about space jews. From a purely comedic perspective — they were lame. Not funny.
From a political perspective, he shoulda said ‘space zionists’
probly, and not space jews.I did not see them, but apparently there were some other jokes
that didnt go over well with some in the LBGTQ community.…i like Chappelle but I dont agree with all of his politics.
Then again, I didnt always agree with Carlin either.w

wvParticipantLast time they played, I thought BigBlue’s defense
beat the crap out of the Rams. They seemed
much more physical than the rams.If Goff was the QB, I might very well pick the Giants
in this one. But for me, Stafford just changes things.I would take the Giants and the Points
though.w
v
wvParticipantWatched the game.
I’ll just keep repeating this all year long: Stafford makes this
team very dangerous. Even when he is off. Or injured. Or the defense
or special teams are screwing up.If the Rams are in striking distance, Stafford and those weapons
can bring the lightning.
Fun to watch.I enjoyed seeing my wv-boy, Geno, play well.
Kupp, Woods, Higby, Van — all looking dangerous — cuz Stafford can zing it to any of em, anywhere on the field.
TuTu. Sigh. What…were…they…thinking?? Snead’s biggest mistake?

v
wvParticipantOnly saw the hi-lites so far, but my reaction is — I’m thrilled.
I have zero problems with a Road win against a division rival.
Once when i was a kid, I was playing in a football game, and
i punted the ball into the butt of the guy in front of me.
Ball bounced back to me, and i punted it again.Punted it into the butt of the guy in front of me
a second time.All perfectly legal.
Would have done it a third time, if i hadnt dropped the
ball.w
v
wvParticipantWe should find out some more about this defense tonight. We’ve seen games where the Rams D has handled Seattle, even in years with losing seasons, and we have seen games where they did not handle Seattle. I just have a feeling that tonight we get a snapshot of how the defense will be this year.
===========
Yeah.
And if nothing else, win or lose, we need to see some Fire out of this team.
After a complete butt-kicking, one would think a top-tier team
would at least come out with a lot of fire against another division rival.Looks like every western division game is gonna be a war for
each team from here on out.w

wvParticipantWell, I just replied to someone this morn on twitter and she said
one of the three or four things that radicalized her was
reading leftist tweets
on twitter. So, i think twitter has a place. Especially for the young and the ‘learning.’
But is it a good place for ‘good conversation’? Hell no.
Its a circus of short ‘gotchas’ and virtue signalling etc.But again, i think it has a place. I like it, but not
for ‘conversation’ or nuanced discussion. One of my favorite things about Left-Twitter is someone will just
toss out a ‘day in history’ when this or that ‘leftist event’
happened or this or that radical activist did this or that,
and I get to learn something. I have to go off twitter
to search about the person or event, but its a tweet
that gave me the heads-up.I cant compare twitter to facebook, cause i dont really ‘do’
facebook.w
v
wvParticipantWill you switch your allegiance from Seattle to Dallas if that happens?
=========
Possibly, but Nittany and I are still on the
Vikings bandwagon at the moment.w
v
wvParticipantWell, the Seattle game will be interesting. If Russell Wilson
and the Hawks eviscerate them the way the Cards did,
its gonna be a disappointing year. The NFC doesnt have a super-team, so no team looks unbeatable.
Wouldnt surprise me if a team like Dallas gets hot at the end
of the year.w
