Well ‘intent’ is a concept full of nuances.
There’s “heat of passion” intent where you hit
the gardener in the head with a lamp. (discovering your
spouse in bed with the gardener)
And then there’s the kind of deliberate intent
where you slowly poison the gardener over
a period of months.I know Burfect ‘intended’ to hit the WR,
but i think it was one of the split-second
‘micro-intent’ things. Its tough to coach that
out of DBs. The league is trying though.
But there’s always gonna be hits like that
from time to time — that one was really
bad, but so was the the hit by McCleod,
i think it was, on the sideline last year.
He almost kilt the guy.I just dont know that I’d call the McCleod
hit much different from the Burfect hit.
McCleod didnt hit the guy in the head,
but it was still a dangerous hit on a
defenseless player. I dunno. Tricky stuff.My sister’s family lives in Cincy. They

vYou know that I have gone through drafts of good drafting teams, and drafting well means hitting on around 40+%…to the mid/high 40s. Anything much beyond the high 40s is just unusually good, beyond the “good” norm into the “rare and superb” tier.
According to my count, Snead has hit on 46%.
That’s not a “B” that’s a solid “A” IMO. Especially when you factor in guality, which includes Donald, plus as I said 2 top 10 corners in the same draft (without spending a 1st round pick).

fact that Snead has had more first and second
round picks than other GMs ?
I mean the RG3 trade gave him

I don’t see how Stan can show his face in Missouri again, not that he plans to.

I would say that he attempted much harder to find a way to get to L.A. than he has to find a way to stay in St. Louis. He stopped taking phone calls from the STL Mayor and MO Governor. At the same time, he was working with Inglewood’s Mayor. I mean, people aren’t stupid. It’s easy to see through.
I just hope weasels like Kronky and Jerry Jones dont destroy the NFL

In fact, assuming Andy Dalton can’t go, Saturday’s game would be the sixth straight game in which the Steelers faced a backup on the other team.
On Sunday, the Steelers closed the regular season against Browns third-string quarterback Austin Davis. A week earlier the Steelers got the Ravens’ fourth quarterback, Ryan Mallett. The week before that, the Steelers got Broncos backup Brock Osweiler. The week before that, the Steelers got the Bengals and McCarron. The week before that, the Steelers got Colts backup Matt Hasselbeck.
The Steelers also faced Browns backup Johnny Manziel in Week 10, which means that counting McCarron on Saturday, Pittsburgh will have faced a backup in seven of its last eight games. Overall, the Steelers were 5-1 against backup quarterbacks this year and 5-5 against starters. They owe part of their position in the playoffs to bad luck befalling opposing teams’ quarterbacks.

I’m a nomad so Stan’s actions don’t piss me off because he’s betraying St Louis. Stan just comes across as a giant hypocritical, asshole. The owner of my team doesn’t need to be a wonderful person, but I’d like his nastiness to at least remain hidden.
From what I understand, the Rams chose to release the report that trashes St Louis and cements my feelings. If true, that’s just mind boggling to me. I also find the part of the report talking about the decline in attendance offensive. How can anybody expect people to spend their money watching this team when they’ve been bad for so long? Haven’t the Rams continued to make money even though they have been a failure for the most part for over a decade?
Stan’s complaint about St Louis being a 2 sport town is not only a bad argument, but it’s also annoying or insulting or something. I’m also especially turned off by Stan’s previous comments that he would do his “damndest” to stay in St. Louis. Maybe his hypocrisy shouldn’t irritate me as much as it does, but it really bothers me.
Like most others, I already have demands on my time–3 small children in my case–that make following the team challenging at times. Now I feel like the enjoyment I get from the Rams will be further tainted by Kroenke. I feel like I’ll have a hard time divorcing the LA Rams from Stan the lying asshat.

There was a time when that would have bugged me. Never liked that horizontal passing game featuring quick outs and shallow crossing patterns. It’s the offense that brought the ‘pick play’ to football, which by all rights should be OPI. I’ve always been a fan of the Coryell offense even before the GSOT days.
But beggars can’t be choosers. I stopped caring how the Rams win a long time ago. I just want an offense that works and if Flip is their best hope for making that happen then I say hire him.
