You sure thats not the Kamala vs Trump map?

3rd year vet Bam Knight, leads the Cardinals in rushing with 255 yards. 3.4 yard average.

    Ive never heard of him.

Jacoby Brisset is having a nice year. 97.4 QB rating. 13 TDs 4 INTs.

Rams defense needs to take some shit out on this team.

You have no future as a football analyst. The job expects you to fill in gaps with plausible, entertaining bullshit.

I think that the Rams learned that they have to score more points than the other team. They should be fine going forward.

I think the Rams learned to Never get involved in a land war in Asia.

Wow, don’t you kind of hope the Seahawks win for the draft pick, but lose for playoff positioning?

    Very conflicting.

I wonder if its possible, that the Rams might play the Seahawks And 49ers in the playoffs?

decent chance Kyler has played his last snap as a Cardinal

… Said Murray plays like he has PTSD. Nothing over 10 yards, and doesn’t run anymore.

Sounds like somebody the Steelers would want.

I thought it would be close. Sigh. Every loss is huge at this point, given the importance of the bye and playing at home. Playing AT Chicago, Philly or Seattle is not a good idea.

I thought the Rams gave away the other two losses, but this one is different, to me. Carolina just wanted it more and it showed. And sure, if the Rams dont turn the ball over they still win, but Carolina outplayed them today, out hit them, had more energy. Not by much, but it was what it was.

    9-3.

    Bears 9-3, Packers 8-3-1, Eagles 8-4, 49ers 8-4, Seahawks, (8-3 pending)

Its like The Game of Thrones, this year.

“And who are you, the proud Lord said
that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that’s all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
    a lion still has claws.
And, mine are as long and sharp, my Lord
as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
    that Lord of Castamere,
but now the rains weep o’er his hall,
with no one there to hear.
Yes, now the rains weep o’er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.”

The big trade – Stafford to the Rams. Goff and two no.1 picks and a 3rd rd pick to the Lions.

Lions ended up getting: Goff, RB Jamir Gibbs, and TE Sam Laporta and WR Jameson Williams.

The Lions did fine in that trade.

Here’s the thing about the Eagles’ offense.

Nick Sirianni doesn’t want a lot of motion or condensed formations. The route concepts are more elementary than they were last season, but they weren’t advanced algebra in 2024, either.

The issues start fundamentally at the top. And this is a brain trust that doesn’t seem to like a lot of the things that make modern passing games… well, modern.

    The question is, Why?

    Especially a Canadian Left Tackle.

Whatever happened to the idea of annexing Canada? And Greenland?

I thought that was a really good idea. All the Canadians I’ve met have been decent people, and I think they would like to be liberated so they can enjoy American freedoms, too.

Look, this thread is about undrafted FRANCHISE nations. Canada is a mid-round nation with a maple leaf as their symbol. A leaf.

That even puts the Bears ahead of GB and Detroit in their division. They are competing with Seattle for the 2nd seed in the NFC.

Against the Eagles, Bears RB Kyle Monangai got 130 yards on 22 carries, and D’Andre Swift got 125 yards on 18 carries. Caleb Williams didn’t even complete 50% of his passes, but didn’t have to apparently.

Yeah, 280 yards on the ground against that Eagle front. 40 minutes time of possession vs. 20 minutes.

I thought the Eagles defense was the best in the NFC before that game. But they were just mauled.

    Lions getting some help.

“..As vaguely indicated by the Lions’ social media accounts and confirmed by NFL insider Ian Rapoport, former All-Pro center Frank Ragnow is shockingly unretiring to come back and play for Detroit. Ragnow, 29, was drafted by the Lions and spent seven excellent seasons leading what would turn into a dominant offensive line. He was widely recognized as one of the best centers in the league throughout his career and earned three second-team All-Pro nods in recognition of that.”

I’ve been reading around, trying to understand why Washington gave up on Forbes, a first round pick. I mean, they gave up on him pretty fast. Basically, it looks like the new Wash coach Dan Quinn didnt draft him and didnt think he fit the new system. Quinn also got rid of three other high picks from the previous regime.

“ESPN writer Bill Barnwell listed the Commanders drafting cornerback Emmanuel Forbes with the No. 16 overall pick in last year’s NFL Draft as the team’s biggest mistake this decade.”

“Former Commanders First Round Pick Breaks Silence After Shocking Release…For Forbes and the Commanders, the backlash began with questions about his size — 6-foot-1 and 166 pounds — and what might happen when he faced NFL competition.

The answers to that came quick and fast during his rookie season, which encompassed Forbes being benched several times and an embarrassing, Week 4 outing in which Philadelphia Eagles star A.J. Brown torched Forbes for 9 receptions, 175 yards and 2 touchdowns…According to PFF, Forbes graded out at 50.9% for his rookie season. He was also the worst cornerback in the NFL against the run with a 28.9% grade..”
    —-
“..Curl, a team source said, was particularly vocal in his assessment of Forbes. Position coaches leaned on Curl’s analysis and endorsement when speaking with the pro scouting department about whether to make the claim. Curl also picked Forbes up en route to his first practice on Wednesday..”

    Washington Commanders

Forbes was selected by the Washington Commanders in the first round (16th overall) of the 2023 NFL draft.[12] His slim weight is a common point of discussion, with him being the only cornerback drafted since 2000 to weigh under 170 pounds at the NFL Combine.[14][20][21] He signed a fully guaranteed four-year $15.4 million contract on July 22, 2023.[22][23]

Forbes recorded his first career interception in his second game, a 35–33 win over the Denver Broncos.[24] In the week 4 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles, he was criticized for his performance covering wide receiver A. J. Brown.[25] The following week, he was benched after multiple blown coverages against Chicago Bears wide receiver D. J. Moore.[26][27] In the first quarter of the week 10 game, Forbes was ejected after a helmet-to-helmet hit against Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett.[28] The NFL fined him for $15,563 for his week 10 ejection.[29]

Following the opening game of the 2024 season, Forbes underwent surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) in his right thumb.[30] In the week 6 win over the Carolina Panthers, he recorded his second career interception against quarterback Andy Dalton.[31] Forbes was waived by the team on November 30, 2024.[32]
