Life is messy, because it always ends in death.

My wife is much more spiritual than me.  She believes that we all make a choice to incarnate, and that we see the entire life we are going to live, and we sign up to experience being human and to grow as a soul.

Maybe she is right, maybe it is a bunch of hooey, who knows (well, we all will once the band stops playing…).

We are sad for him because he had done something to stand out.  Life well lived.  My heart breaks for the ones who die from preventable things like malnutrition, malaria or some stupid dick’s war.

I  guess the Seahawks are in rebuilding mode?  Maybe they should ditch their coach.

    I want the Raiders.

Many story lines here.  Both LA teams at one point, both left LA; Rams back.

Rams ex-OC now Raiders head coach.

Aaron Rodgers new Raiders QB (if there is a kind god, that is).

You know, lots of story lines…

    Great win.

Actually glad it was such a close, hard fought game.

    Hmm, strange.

I always thought Suh was a bit unhinged, the head stomping stuff and such. I thought he was fine as a Ram, now a bit unhinged again.  Maybe nut cases need to stay on the Rams to be OK?

    Here we go again.

Thank the gods it isn’t the Patriots…

and by the gods, I mean all of them.  Your Indian pantheon, your Babalonian pantheon, your Roman, Greek, Viking, etc.

Pray to whatever you hold holy that we win.

I already asked my recently dearly departed cat to weigh in on this.

    No holds barred, people.

Does it count if you put it on swordfish and put it on your charcoal grill?

I hope so, because it was good…

You know when you bite into a chunk or really sharp cheddar, and it has, like, crystals in it?  I really love that.

Anyway, the Law of Averages is going to catch up with SF this week.  Because of how closely matched these two teams are, this is like flipping a coin 6 times and having it come up heads all 6 times.

The Universe won’t allow this to continue.  If it does, hold on to your hats; more quantum craziness will follow, I’m sure.

Hard to believe, after watching that game, that we lost to the Cards in the regular season. Also harder to believe we lost to the 9er’s last week. WTF?

I think the Rams give Father Time a little help and end the TB12 Playoff run.

My hope is the 9er’s beat GB and we come back to LA for the NFC Title Game, but if we have to go to GB, so be it.

After yesterday, I’m thinking the Rams can beat anybody.

I listened to most of the game on the radio (WFAN 660 kHz NYC) while driving home from Long Island to CT. The very fist Cards play resulted in an AD sack. Right then and there, I knew we were off to the races. Great listen. I actually drove around the block until we got to the two minute warning. If you have never listened to a football game on the radio, you should. Of course, whoever is doing the game helps, and in my case, Kurt Warner was the color guy.

Where was this energy during the Green Bay game?

OK, I really don’t care, but carry that energy through the rest of the season and win out!
