Even though Stafford had an efficient  game, but I was happy that that pick 6, didn’t come back to haunt us.

We need to get our act together, because we will be playing much better teams, than the Panthers.

If you look at some of the guys that are out on our OLine, they have not been able to stay healthy. In other words, durability issues. It won’t be long, before, Joseph Noteboom, misses time. Again, that is based on his history.

You mean Allen? Who after Allen has a history of injuries? Shelton? Anchrum? Edwards? Jackson? Noteboom was injured in 2019. If I remember correctly, he missed 1 game in 2021.

Noteboom missed time in 2020,as well. Edwards has had some issues, as well,. I know he missed a couple of games, last year. We will have to make a decision on Rob Havenstein, he is an Unrestricted Free Agent, after this season. I assume, he’s gone. AJ Jackson, is going to take over the RT duties.

    Injuries happen to every team

But it is not common for entire units to be compromised by extensive injuries, and when that does happen, the unit in question drops in performance and brings other units down with it. So if you have massive, extensive injuries to the secondary, your defense suffers. With the OL, your offense suffers. That’s the key: massive, extensive injuries to a key unit. It has nothing to do with late picks. It doesn’t matter how you get the players if they all get injured. For example, no OL in the league is deep enough to handle starting 5 different OL combinations in 5 games, including the entire interior OL getting replaced (Rams have started 3 centers and 5 guards and that’s not even counting Bruss, who got injured in the pre-season). No one is that deep. Not a single NFL line is that deep. There is no correlation between the round you’re picked in and whether or not you get injured. Heck looking back across the years and counting only 1st and 2nd round picks, there were times when all of the following missed several games and sometimes whole seasons because of injury: Harrah, France, Pankey, Gandy, Brostek, Pace, Saffold, and Brostek. Massive and extensive (simultaneous) injuries to OLs always have a bad effect on offenses. McVay’s best years correspond with very healthy OLs. 2017, 2018, 2021.

If you look at some of the guys that are out on our OLine, they have not been able to stay healthy. In other words, durability issues. It won’t be long, before, Joseph Noteboom, misses time. Again, that is based on his history.

It’s probably a consensus among fans that the O-line is the issue. But I think Stafford is a problem, too. His passes lack zip. They flutter. And, yeah, Robinson is a bad fit. I thought he’d help them a lot more than he has. Wrong guy, wrong team. He’s a jump ball guy, and the Rams need someone who creates separation instead. Stafford isn’t accurate enough on his own to have it come down to just those jump balls. Even with the great gain by Kupp today, it was all Kupp, on a poorly thrown pass. Akers, IMO, is not an NFL back any longer. He’s still not recovered, and may never be. Henderson is the much better player. Not that other teams would want them, but if the Rams could get something in trade for Akers and/or Robinson, I’d go for it before the deadline. Preferably O-line help this year, but picks, if not. Rams do not look like a playoff team at all at this point. All of those trades have caught up with them. Counting far too much on late picks and UDFAs has caught up with them. Not enough depth to weather an injury storm. Cliches R Us, but their strategy of putting all of their eggs in a coupla baskets did yield a Super Bowl, but it may well lead to limbo for several years afterward. Those of us who have followed the Rams for a long time . . . well, we may be in for a very rough stretch in the next few years. Been there, done that, etc.

There is a good chance, that Aaron Donald may retire after this season. Plus, what if Matt Stafford retires. I believe we should start thinking of a rebuild, if things don’t change, and see if we can get draft picks for players.

I think this team will not be making the playoffs. The Olinemen that are out,, have had durability issues for years, but we were able to overcome them. The only one still up, for now, is Noteboom, but an injury will come soon. This team misses Robert Woods. Allen Robinson sucks.

I don’t think Goff would’ve won last year. Stafford is better. They do need offensive line help. Lots of injuries this year is not helping.

We don’t have a first round pick, in 2023. That is in Detroit.

True but don’t trivialize a world championship. You can’t keep everyone . A first round QB or OT is no guarantee.think of all the UDFAs they’ve hit on.

Having a 1st round pick, could be used as a trade chip, to get a real good vet, if they are not comfortable, getting one in the draft.

We have been sucking. The Rams, didn’t address, the OL, in the offseason. We all knew, that this could have been in issue.

Our D sucked, as well. Too many wiff tackles.

Bobby Evans is starting. This worries me.

I believe it will be Jeremiah Kolone, that will end up,starting, not Evans.

We still have lots of work to do.

Hopefully, we can solve our issues, next week, when we go to San Fran. I think it’s been awhile, where we beat the 9ers in San Fran.

Wow, that’s sad. Did he join the Rams during the strike, or was he already on the team and decided to play the strike games? I remember him being a tough SOB.

White came to the Rams in 1985, and played until 1989. So he was already here, when the NFL played with replacement players

It feels weird, that USC, & UCLA are leaving the Pac 12, for the Big 10. It looks like Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, & Utah, are possibly leaving, to join the Big 12.

Overturning Roe, is a sad day in history. Government, should not be controlling women’s bodies. I worry about, what other laws will this Supreme Court, overturn. Voting Rights, marriage equality(Gay & Interracial marriage), Brown V. Board of Education, etc. It feels like we are not moving forward, but moving backwards.
