I get this weird feeling that Raheem Morris is going to get a Head Coaching gig. I’ve been talking about the Colts.

We need to improve the OLine. We will have a much tougher schedule, and the defenses we will be playing, have big time pass rushers. Noteboom, and AJ Jackson, are not able to handle those guys, like a Nick Bosa, like a Micah Parsons, like a Chase Young, etc. That’s why we need to get a LT.

We will need to improve the defense, as well.

I saw it as a bogus call my self, but now we have a lot of work to do, to repair. The Offensive Line was a disaster from the start, outside of a couple of games.  We need work on the OLine, and fix the defense. We need to go into free agency, looking to get a Left Tackle, Taylor Lewan is expected to be a cap casualty, and would fit great with our OLine for a couple of years. I’d look to see what Van Jefferson can net us, in a trade, ifhe can get us a 2nd or 3rd round pick, I’d consider it. 4th rounder or later, not so much. It is a weak WR draft, this year. I’d go after and sign JuJu Smith-Schuster, as he is an unrestricted free agent. I’m looking at Edge, a guy that can play OG & C, and CB in this draft. In free agency, this year and next year, we lose 8 OLinemen, bu the way, in free agency.

Run blocking looked really good to me huge lanes and holes. Mcvay got away from the short game that was so effective last week. Staley knows Mcvay run schemes and had no answer for it .Chargers are a very strong team getting a ton of all pro talent back. Wasn’t a fair fight but Akers was game

Aboushi, Brewer, Edwards, Nsekhe & Skura are unrestricted free agents after this season, Anchrum & Shelton are unrestricted free agents in 2024. It’s good to get someone, in the draft, for the future.

We sucked all year. We need to improve the OLine, Run Defense, & CB.

I feel that if the rumors are true, and the Titans release Taylor Lewan, we need to sign him. I’m looking at getting an Edge, with our second round pick, could slide to us, in the 2nd round? If not, Zach Harrison would be a great fit as well.

3rd round, we go for a guy that can play play either Guard or Center, like a Ricky Stromberg, or Steve Avila.

I know it will be rally tough for him to do it, but if he can shockingly play well, and so how the Rams can beat the Chargers and Seahawks, I feel we won’t have the finances to sign him. I can see the Raiders and/Colts trying to sign him to a big money deal. With Raiders, I predict he’ll be in Washington next year, playing for the Commanders.

I feel that it’s been awhile, since our Offense put over 50, in a game. If correct, I think the last game we scored over 50, was back 4 years ago.  Beating the Chiefs, 54-51. Then again, I’m old, and can’t remember things as I used to.

Game was about what i expected. They do play hard, which is a tribute to McVay, but not an entertaining team, obviously. Hard for me to even watch the hi lites. What does it mean, when tutu atwell is the player i most want to watch? w v

It means you want to see if he wears a Tutu.

Shocked. It’s been a while since I saw us win a game, on Offense, with just virtually no time left. We were down throughout the game, until it mattered. Let’s hope there is Baker magic left in him. If Baker can win out, I will not be shocked to see another team pay big money for him.

You can always upgrade the OLine. If Taylor Lewan, became available, we should nab him. He is a veteran, and would be that much needed leader for the OLine. If we didn’t have the injuries on the OLine, leadership is still a problem.

We don’t agree about what the Rams have done or what Stafford would say.

Stafford is getting up there in age, for what NFL players careers are. He wants to be protected. I can see he will say it.

I do think that Stafford will say he wants the OLine upgraded. In other words, get a LOT in free agency or he’ll retire. There is a rumor the Titans may cut Taylor Lewan in a cost cutting move, and if that is true, I think a one year or two year deal, would be good sign for us then.

Stafford never said that in Detroit, why would he say it here? Rams have candidates all along the line for the summer. That’s the thin silver thread in the dark clouds of OL injuries. They can bring any number of experienced players to camp from the long list of guys they played this season. A couple of them were not bad at all either–I think LOG has been in far worse shape than LOT has been (except for Evans). Maybe they will have money for a top LOT in free agency. That would be nice. But if they don’t they have all these bodies to work with. After all this year they started 5 LOTs 8 OGs and 3 OCs.

Stafford had no shot of winning in Detroit. Detroit was trying to build him, an OLine. Something we are not doing here.

They drafted Offensive Tackles, Riley Reiff(2012)  & Taylor Decker(2016), Guard, Laken Tomlinson(2015),  & Center, Frank Ragnow(2018). They were all first round picks. Decker & Ragnow are still with the Lions. Reiff is in Minnesota, and Tomlinson is now in San Fran. All of them are starters.

Played better than what we showed, but it’s frustrating, that we lost in the end.

I thought for what Perkins had to work with, as in the OLine, he played as well, as any young QB could play. I felt happy when BP got his first TD. The D played as well as they could. But that tip by Carlos Dunlap, killed us. Then again, he is 6’7″, with long arms, and big hands, and there was nothing that Perkins could have done. It was a great defensive play.

If we could find the money, I would love to sign JuJu Smith Schuster, in free agency. He could be big for our WR.

I’ve been already thinking about next season.  We have questions, will Aaron Donald retire? Will Matt Stafford retire? If they both retire, will they start making trades to rebuild?

Okay. I just watched that for the second time. And I am open to different interpretations. Maybe there is something I’m missing. But I don’t see a single thing in that monologue – or in his comments on trans people – that strikes me as unfair, or untrue, or even hurtful. Granted, I am a member of a privileged demographic, and I haven’t experienced the pain that plagues trans people, or Jews, or the Black people, or anything else. But I don’t get anything from Dave Chapelle that makes me think he is willfully, or even inadvertently, harming any group of people. And I think that Chapelle and Carlin are the best comedians that the USA has ever produced.

I put in Richard Pryor. Eddie Murphy’s “Raw,” was fantastic.

Anyway, I am not a fan of Wolford as a backup, and while the offense will have other more pressing needs this offseason, I hope that finding a backup QB is one of them. They might even need to find a new starter if Stafford is being held together by duct tape and bubblegum.

There is a chance that Stafford may retire. Not saying he will, but there is a chance. I do believe that Aaron Donald retires after the season is over. It might be a few years, that the Rams make the playoffs, if both Donald, & Stafford retire. Also, if both do retire,  we may be better off trading players, that can get us, high draft picks, in return, as a complete rebuild will be the way to go. That’s of course, if we have any players, o our roster, that can be worth high draft picks.

The season is over. No playoffs. Time to start thinking about the Draft.

What’s sad, we have no 1st, 4th & 5th round picks,. I doubt we get any comp picks, due to, Alan Robinson’s big deal, he signed.

Kendrick is a rookie, and hopefully, he’ll get better.

This is the game, that broke our backs. Season is over, no playoffs this year. Our OLine sucks, Next year, we need to improve our OLine, maybe in the draft, add an edge, in free agency, along with a Corner.

Sigh Some Oline health would be nice

Even when they were healthy, the first couple of games, we still looked awful. We need both size and talent.

It’s going to get worse from here. Is there a chance that both Aaron Donald & Matt Stafford retires? If they both do, then I think we need to think about trading the players that have the best value, and get draft picks.

Also, the way this team is built, we probably won’t see another Super Bowl, for another 10-20 years.

Plus, who woulda thunk we would be in 3rd place, in the West behind San Fran and Seattle. We are only ahead of Arizona, by a half game, for last place.

I didn’t watch football today. The Phillies were playing in the NLCS. By the way, the Phillies will be playing in the World Series. I’m still celebrating. Hopefully the Phils can inspire the Rams to make a huge run.
