Rams defense was not its ordinary self. Evans had to play as the Rams 4th LOT this season, and we saw why he got benched at guard. Stafford out. Perkins has some promise but needs to hit his longer passes. He’s better than Wolford though.

B2B losses to McCoy and Dalton… next week it’s Mahomes.

I think a journeyman back up QB could’ve been the  difference the past 2 weeks

I know the line has been bad but Arizona’s line was in worse shape last week when they faced Aaron Donald.

I’ve been already thinking about next season.  We have questions, will Aaron Donald retire? Will Matt Stafford retire? If they both retire, will they start making trades to rebuild?

Can they please sit Stafford ‘now’  ?     Or are they trying to see how many body parts the old guy can injure this year.

3 and 7.    Four losses in a row.  Last place.

The Rams won the Super Bowl last year.   And I’m still happy.

The OL did surprisingly well, given that it started 3 guys who weren’t on the team in week 1. But all 3 were decent pros. The wheels came off when Evans came in, & the defense knew they weren’t going to let Perkins really pass (as they did with MS at the end of half 1).

I’m surprised it was as close as it was

Loved the bomb to Tutu and the 2nd Td drive was some excellent work by Stafford without Kupp or a Oline . Bummer is it might be his last.  Rams have been very shady dealing with concussions so far never having admitted Stafford had one. It’s just weird.

Just saw a few highlights, but the bomb to Tutu was nearly perfect. A great, great throw and catch, and the line, at least on that play, gave Stafford plenty of time. He led the speedster with precision, Warner-like.

Tutu is possibly a smaller, faster version of Tavon Austin, but he still worries me out there. If they can keep him clean, in space, he can do some damage. But I also think they need to work with him on ball security. Teams will likely go after him with extra hard hits to strip the ball, etc.

Anyway . . . . the freakish injuries keep happening. How much of this is due to turf? I’d bet most of it. The Rams need to change SoFi to grass, as does every team.
