I’m not at all happy with Williams. The defense was better last season.

Nope, don’t agree. They do not need Quinn on offense. They defense has a enough problems already without giving its best player to the offense.

Stupid nimrod has no clue about Quarterbacks. Austin Davis is the best QB on this roster right now and he showed it today.
When Dallas buries the Rams by half time next week may Fisher will see how wrong he is.

You gotta be kidding me? Hill is going to start after what Davis did? Are you fucking kidding me?

Unfuckingbelievable. Austin Davis just saved your ASS Fisher. You dumb MF’er.

Austin Davis showed us all today that he has the ability and he understands the offense. You don’t break all of Brett Farve’s college records and not have ability. Did you see how the team reacted to him? This guy is a winner and the more experience he gets and the more comfortable he becomes, we are going to see some great things out of Austin Davis.

My all time favorite Ram WV? That is a tough question because I have so many all time favorite Rams.

It comes down to three people who represent the Rams as I knew them as a 10 year old when I was just introduced to football and the Rams. Roman Gabriel, Merlin Olsen and Deacon Jones.

I’m sorry, but I understand your point ZN and I agree that he has to represent the company as best he can.
Yes you are right about that.

I don’t think he deserved to be suspended for what he said.

WV, the same reason as any broadcasting company would suspend him currently because they do not want to deal with the backlash of those who would demand his job and those who would protest the company and they do not want to seem insensitive to the victims rights.

My point WV, is it seems we’ve become a society where if somebody utters something insensitive or stupid as human beings do every once in a while that we immediately call for them to be punished. Can we not simply disagree with him rather to extract a pound of flesh? People say stupid things. Even broadcasters as we have seen over the years.

Nobody has a right to an opinion any longer. Sad. So you don’t like what Robinson said and that is fine. I do not know what to think about the Ray Rice situation other than it was wrong of him to hit his girl friend. Violence against women should not be condoned. Violence against men should not be condoned either.

But, are we not violating our own constitutional rights of freedom of thought and speech when we demand someone be punished for expressing an opinion? I don’t know. I’m beginning to think free speech is a lie.

I doubt that history will care that the Rams got their asses kicked by the Vikings on Openning day 2014. A sad lament be it that it is.

I really think, that the main problem was it was Hochuli’s crew working the game. On some the replay’s where the offensive PI or pushoff was called, I really didn’t feel it was flagrant or would have been called in most games.

I would tell the receivers just to get more polished at doing it and less obvious, just like Anquan Boldin who gets away with it all the time.

I believe the LA Rams from 1958 until George Allen arrived in 1966 had seven losing seasons.

Well, its going to be Davis and PA Rams Davis throughs the ball very well and well enough to have broken all the school records of one Brett Farve. Lets give the kid a chance.

BTW, Hill is a long shot to play according to what Rambill just posted so lets get behind the kid and hope he plays well enough to seize the job.

Agreed. I thought the Rams were hurt every time a big catch was made in the 1st half Hochuli’s crew fucked them over with one of those Offensive PI calls. Its bullshit. I have never seen that before where every big catch was like that. Its like they were focused on it and looking for it.

Not sure how you equate they need a giant ground game for just Davis. They need a ground game period. Which they did not really have on Sunday against the Vikes. Davis has shown he can manage an offense. Not sure why you are so down on him.

I am not going to be like RFIP was / is for Sam Bradford either and just promote Austin Davis every chance I get.
I honestly think AD is a better answer at number one with Hill as the back up. I think Davis needs to start for one because I am not sure he’s suited for coming off the bench. Not sure he can come in cold and just play. I think because he is young he has to build up to it during the week. Hill has shown over the years that he is better at stepping in during a game on a moments notice. Plus, and I’ll reiterate this, there is no future in playing Hill as a starter. He’s 34 years old. While that is relatively young in the real world, in football it is ancient. This team is not going to the Super Bowl or playoffs. They are not. So why not play the young guy and get him some experience. Its not like he doesn’t know the system. Davis has been in this offense for 3 years now. I think this kid can play but he needs this coach to put him in and tell him he’s the guy no matter what. Ron Jaworski in his day when he went to the Eagles grew as a QB when they put him in and told him he didn’t have to look back over his shoulder. He was the guy no matter.

I reserve comment on the Aaron Donald to be great thing. I was told Tavon Austin was going to be great too and have yet to see that happen. BTW Tavon looked pathetic on punt returns yesterday.

was the offensive pass interference calls on the Rams receivers. Pushing off if you will. To me those calls were bullshit.
When I have seen the Anquan Boldins and others get away with the same damn thing year after year and it figures Ed Hochuli’s crew would be the ones to do this crap. His crew and he personally have to be worst in the league. Always the weird shit with Ed. Especially for the Rams. The facemask call on Brian Quick was pure crap. ITS CALLED A FUCKING STRAIT ARM YOU MORONS!. I saw the exact same thing in the Seattle vs Green Bay game last Thursday and NOTHING WAS CALLED. Geez!

    Only Ed Hochuli.

Believe what you want. I’ve seen this before and I know when a QB has been pulled for non-injury issues. Fisher wanted to shake things up. Hill for whatever reason was not getting it done. Believe what you want ZN but Hill is not the answer at QB. He never was and I think Fisher finally realized that yesterday. Give Austin Davis the reps this week with the ones and start him. There is no logical reason for starting Hill.

Screw the injury story. If he had a fucking quad injury why was he standing on the sideline like nothing was wrong? Why did he not have an ice bag taped to his leg.

This guy was pulled from the game because the coach was not happy with his play in the 1st half. Simple as that.

Indeed the penalties were horrible but, nobody and I mean nobody believes that Hill was pulled for a quad injury.
Like I stated before, you could see it in the expression on Hill’s face. He was pulled over performance issues. Fisher was not happy with what Hill did in the 1st half. Anyone who believes Hill was pulled over a mysterious quad injury that had to be announced in a team statement is drinking a great deal of Kool aid.

Just think, when Cordarelle Patterson came out of Tennessee a couple years ago there were those that said he was not football ready. Really? What a stupid thing to say. He looks all world compared to anyone playing for the Rams and that certainly includes Tavon Austin.

I think Davis should be number one. I’ve said that before. He has more experience in Schotty’s offense and he’s younger and more athletic. Hill is better suited to the back up role.

Was the worst thing that could have happened to this team. Can they recover? I don’t know but if this offense doesn’t produce and put points on the board, you can start thinking about drafting another franchise QB because they should have a high enough pick. You may need to start thinking about either changes to the coaching staff of Jeff Fisher being fired.
