Demoff the GM? Seems like stuff you’d be talking to Snead about this stuff. Why are they talking to Demoff? He seems very knowledgeable but, Is Snead on vacation or something.

#Rams announce attendance of 54,850. Apparently tonight’s give-away was empty-seat costumes for the first 30,000 through the gate.

This is hilarious. I was watching the Saints broadcast on NFL.com and Joel Myers was constantly ripping the dome and the lack of fans and lack of atmosphere in the Ed. Comments like, to paraphrase……….I know this is a baseball town but, come on!. Also he said he couldn’t wait to be back in the Superdome next week as the atmosphere in the Ed left something to be desired. I do remember him making a comment about …….We have more people in the booth then they have in this stadium.

Tavon Austin should be backing up when they hand him his pay check cuz Brandon Cooks makes Tavon look like a poser!

Yes ZN that was a nice catch by Pettis but that pass was nice. Thought Gilbert had a real nice initial drive of his first season.
He should have been picked on that one play but otherwise he did real nice.

I think Rams defense has camp legs and camp arms tonight. Fatigue is the key word. Should be better next game.

What a wasted pick for Tavon huh? Come on Schottenheimer!

Rams look tired on defense. Shaun Hill very inaccurate, horrible looking. Nothing out of Tavon or Britt or anybody except Cook, Harkey and Stacy so far. Kendricks has cost them with a couple of dumb holding calls.

Really, I don’t care what you say, Clemens looked better than Hill last night and the Clemens of last year looked better than this guy right now.

Looks like the Rams defense has camp arms. Very tired. Their tackling tonight is pathetic.

Talk about inaccurate! One decent pass to Harkey on the 1st drive and nothing after that. Time to look at Gilbert.

He Isaiah, he threw the ball well enough to damn near beat the Seahawks on a Monday night game if it wasn’t for Janoris Jenkins swallowing his adams apple against Golden Tate.

He threw it well enough that they should have won at least 8 ball games.

Maybe you should open your eyes?

Kevin Demoff stated the Rams have never said they’re looking to move and everything they have done shows they plan on staying in St. Louis….he pointed to the new sound system and beautiful replay boards as well as the fanfest event. The replay boards are awesome and the sound is so very much improved.

Okay, I thought there was a definite dedicated string for this kind of message but if you want to post this stuff here I can oblige. Kevin Demoff has never said the Rams were not going to move either and if you have not followed this situation the last couple years well enough to know what the hell is going on then don’t be posting statements like this. Because it was after Demoff had a luncheon with a bunch of season ticket holders that the next couple days everybody found out that Kroenke had purchased the 60 acres in Inglewood.

Anything that Demoff has said has been to dance around the subject and he has never said anything that indicated the Rams were going to stay.

Lets make this perfectly clear. It really does not matter what Demoff says because he has no vote. He doesn’t own the team and the guy who does own the team loves LA. He bought the 60 acres and now he is trying to buy all of the Hollywood park land and lets not forget that he was a very serious contender for buying the Dodgers.

I am not going to go into detail about the economics that exist in St Louis but you do understand that the CVC is bankrupt and the City of St Louis has no money for a new stadium and the State of Missouri through Governor Nixon has stated time and again there is no money in the state budget to build the Rams a stadium. There has been no purchase of any kind of land by Kroenke in St. Louis either where he could build a stadium. But that’s okay, I understand the emotion here on both sides.

BTW, the Rams have a history of drafting a kid QB out of UCLA and winning the NFL title his rookie year. His name is Bob Waterfield.

I think the Rams are truly in a position now that they have not been in for a very long time. Now they can afford to take the best player available regardless of position.

I will say this, that if Bradford remains healthy and does not produce this year then a QB is definitely on the list for next spring and there are some good ones. Two that come to mind are Brett Hundley from UCLA and the kid that plays at Stanford.

Right time and right place is often the story of Success in the NFL. Look at Fox in Denver. Booted out of Carolina and lands a gig with an all-timer at QB and a playoff contender for a team.

Chuck Knox back in 1973, rookie head coach who lucked into a job where his predecessor, Tommy Prothro spent two years building a playoff contender for him.

Fisher needs to get to at least 10 wins this season and a playoff appearance to keep the improvement going.

TSRF they have 50 years of roots in LA and never should have moved to STL except for their owner looking for a payday. We in LA who grew up with this team as OUR TEAM are thankful John Shaw has the foresight he exhibited when he crafted this lease agreement with the CVC.
