I expected KC to flirt with the 50 point plateau, but I didn’t expect Ebukam to score two TDs. Great to win and even better to have ten wins before the end of November. Hopefully Talib is back and healthy on December 2 vs Detroit.

I love this team, but with this defense the Rams are not legit Super Bowl favourites. I think they will be hard pressed to keep the first week bye as the Bears look solid on both sides of the ball.

The Rams can probably score 30 plus against KC, but I honestly would not be surprised to see KC approach the 50 point plateau. I don’t see a Rams win no matter how I look at this game.

Can’t help but appreciate being 9-1 before the halfway point in November. I’ll never not appreciate a winning record. With only 6 games left the Rams only need one win for the division title. That amazes me. After sitting in the middle of a desert from 2005 to last year I’m still in awe of the Rams current succes.

Ditto on all the horrible defense comments. I thought Ebukam looked especially bad at times, but there is plenty of blame to go around I’m sure. I don’t know how much of a difference Talib will make, but it will be great to get some help on defense. Good to see more and more from the TEs. So bummed about Kupp. I hope he’s back earlier rather than later next season. Go Reynolds.

I have no idea how the Rams could possibly be 10 pt favourites in this game. I’m throwing at Peters deep all day if I’m Seattle. If the Rams are helping him out back there then I’m testing the Rams less than stellar run D to keep them honest. Hopefully the offense can score 30+. Special teams might need to chip in with some big plays too. No predictions on a winner, I just think it’s going to be close. I expect to be annoyed by the large number Seahawks fans in attendance.

On a different tangent, I dunno that i like this new NFL. Just seems its a little ‘too’ easy to score now.

I feel the same way. I’m not adverse to high scoring games, but there are times when it almost feels manufactured. I don’t mean it’s fake or anything like that. Things just seemed so stacked against defenses when it comes to the game now. Of course, not every NFL defense is giving up 30-40 points per game so I realize I’m providing a simplistic explanation. I’m honestly not sure what it is exactly, but the nature of the scoring just doesn’t feel right to me. I say this assuming that NFL scoring is up this year. I don’t know that to be true though. Maybe I’m just so influenced by watching Rams games every week that I don’t know what’s normal anymore.

The Saints are the better team. Barring some unforeseen turnaround I expect a similar result vs. KC in 2 weeks. Seattle will also be tough next week. With the exception of the Niners game the Rams defense has looked below average since the they beat the Chargers. Today they were exposed by one the best offenses in the NFL.

At home or on the road, I think the Saints are the better team. I believe that their offense can do more damage to the Rams defense than the Rams offense can do to the Saints defense… or something like that. Whether the Saints decide to go run heavy or pass heavy, I see this game as being a tough day for the Rams D.

He hasn’t turned out to the the pass rusher that I thought he would be. I wonder how much of an adjustment it will be moving from a 4-3 to a 3-4. Even though he hasn’t lived up to what I thought he’d be, Fowler certainly represents an upgrade off of the edge for the Rams. So that’s nice. The Rams front really needs to help out the struggling secondary, so any increase in pressure will be welcomed.

Good article by Silver. That Hekker punt was huge. The safety doesn’t happen without that punt. I started taking Hekker for granted a long time ago.

Also, the next three weeks are going to be brutal. So I’m just going to enjoy this 8-0 thing. Such a weird feeling to see the Rams winning like this. I love it.

Not sure how Barron wasn’t concussed on that safety. He must have at least felt it in his neck. Several Peters comments in this thread already, I’ll just add that not only does he get beat fairly regularly he gets beat in multiple ways. He gets beat on straight go-routes and he gets turned the wrong way by receivers running different cuts. Hill doesn’t make me feel confident either. Marqui Christian seems to have gained the coaches confidence this season. I don’t recall seeing him on the field this much in previous seasons. Donald is great even when not getting sacks. He’s on a ridiculous sack pace for a DT. Woods continues to make clutch catches. I thought Cooks was getting grabbed a lot all game. Reynolds with a couple of big TDS was a nice surprise. I thought this surpassed the the Seattle game as the o-lines most challenging game.

Aaron Rodgers is good enough to win games by himself even when the rest of the team is falling down. I hate that the Rams have to face him coming off of a bye week. Hopefully Donald et al can make him uncomfortable all game long.

Wow. That was the Rams most dominant win yet. Even more impressive than the win over the Cardinals. Third consecutive road game as well. Cory Littleton is the Dante Hall or blocking punts. I remember people used to lament how Jeff Fisher’s Rams couldn’t surpass 7 wins. This Rams team will probably make it beyond the 7 win mark before December. Starting with a rested Packers team next week the Rams are embarking on the toughest part of their schedule. That said I’m going to enjoy this 7-0 thing. I used to dream of the Rams even being a game over .500 in late October. I would love to see more offense from the Rams TEs at some point, but as long as they’re winning I guess it doesn’t matter.

I’m sticking with the Rams have to lose at some point theory, and the third consecutive road game seems as likely a spot as any. I don’t think San Francisco is as bad as their record reflects. If the Rams win it will have to score 30 plus points and get a big contribution from special teams.

Both offenses looked good. Of course NFL offenses have looked really good in many games this year, or at least it seems that way to me. I hope the short week works against San Francisco because their offense looks like it has multiple threats where the Rams defense has looked vulnerable at times this year. Goodwin and Beathard looked unstoppable in the first half and the Niners running game looked formidable as well.

I’m really not looking forward to seeing Aaron Rodgers coming off of a bye either.

Consecutive road wins in less than ideal weather, in two notoriously difficult places for visiting teams to play. I love it. The sacks werent great , but I’m not surprised that speed rushers would give the Rams’ line problems. I could see the Niners front getting to Goff next week as well. Anyway, 6-0!? Wow! Between 2007 and 2016 seven wins was the ceiling. So to have 6 wins in October has me pretty pleased.

Fingers crossed that Saffold and Kupp don’t have lingering issues. Okoronkwo is eligible to practice this week and while I doubt he’s a difference maker the rest of the season it wiuld be nice to see him in for some passing downs. I would think that Zuerlein is close to returning as well.

The Rams are going to lose at some point. Denver is usually a tough road game. Keemun played well vs this defense less than one year ago. It is going to be cold. If the Rams win it will be a similar situation to the Seattle game, but not quite the high scoring affair. I expect the struggles against the run to continue.

Another solid 4th quarter from the Rams defense. I’d like to see them pull that off for four quarters against a good offense, but I’m very happy about the win in what I expected to be a close game. Wilson had too much time for three quarters, and the way he moves around it is difficult for a DB to stay with his man for that long. That said Peters was disappointing for sure. I totally expected Goff to regress this year, super happy to be incorrect so far. That was an unfortunate bounce on his first INT. Perhaps it’s a slightly different game if the Rams score there? Anyway, I’m still not distanced enough from 2005 – 2016 to be anything but overjoyed with the Rams being 5-0.

Division games are always tough. Even tougher on the road, and Seattle is tougher than most road venues. Some pretty mediocre Rams teams usually played the Seahawks tough when Seattle was competing for Super Bowls. I expect this to be a difficult game. Russell Wilson can win games by himself if needed. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Seattle win. I hope that it doesn’t come down to making some field goals.

It’s interesting to see Gurley lined up as a wideout. I’ve noticed it a couple of times this season. Most notably tonight on Woods’ TD in the 3rd. My memory ain’t what it used to be, but I don’t remember it happening last season.

Wow. Such an amazing performance by the offense. I don’t even know who to talk about. Maybe McVay I guess, but I’m most excited about Goff as far as players go. He’s playing with so much confidence now. 4-0!! Wow. 2011 still seems so fresh to me. So for the Rams to be 4-0 with a long week off is pretty sweet!

I kind of hope that is what happens. I understand the excitement of a primetime game, but I don’t like them. If it were up to me the Rams would play all of their games on Sundays at 8:00 EST.
