canadaramParticipantHere’s a link to a recent NY Post article on Wolford.

canadaramParticipantMy faith is shook, shaken and trod upon. I have no faith in this Rams team. Unless they win, in which case I will say that I never doubted them for a moment.
Seriously though, even if the Rams back their way into the playoffs it’s difficult for me to believe that this offense will be able to take them far. I also lack faith in the STs to pull out, or hold onto a victory in a close game.
Go Rams.
canadaramParticipant“our” not “out”. I never proofread anything.

canadaramParticipantI believe in the Rams Defense, but i dont believe in their offense so much. The two games against Shannahan kilt my faith in the offense.
Me too.
If the Rams are planning on using the short passing game again this week I would expect Belichick to be ready and we will see a lot of tipped balls and unsuccessful screen passes. I hope Akers continues to show progress. That will make me feel more confident about the offense.
canadaramParticipantSo as I’m driving home from Boston today, they have a 10 Questions feature on 98.5 the Sports Hub. One of the questions was a redo of the 2016 draft. Lance Burkhart was the NFL expert and then there were 2 or 3 talking heads. They all picked Wentz over Goff.
Up until last year I would have agreed with them. This year it’s a wash. I’m not particularly fond of either QB.
canadaramParticipantHe has become a liability to this team and I for one am done hoping for a upside. In four years He has not progressed or improved in a manner than warrants making him a cornerstone of this team. He is too hot and cold and inconsistency is really a terrible trait for a QB
This is exactly how I feel. Although, I would express my opinion on Goff so incoherently that nobody would understand what I was trying to say. So, thank you.
canadaramParticipantYay!
It’s fun having a good defense. I still haven’t left mode of just being excited by having a winning record. 2005 to 2016 were tough on me.
I think I like Gay better than anyone else the Rams have had at kicker in 2020. I’d like to see a consistent running game at some point.
canadaramParticipantWhen is the last time Goff/McVay had a solid offensive outing vs. a great defense? Does Buffalo count? At any rate, if the Rams are going to win it will take a Herculean effort from the defense and zero mistakes from the STs because I don’t see the offense scoring more than 17 points against Tampa’s defense.
canadaramParticipant
Yes! Lake Superior is beautiful! Glad to have more of it for ourselves.
canadaramParticipantHe said that the US would not need to lock down if people followed other public-health advice, like wearing masks and social distancing.
Speaking strictly anecdotally, where I live far too many people do not follow basic public-health advice.
canadaramParticipantRams won, I was wrong
Zero TDs for Wilson
Rams defense played well
canadaramParticipantSeattle will win
Russell Wilson is too good
The Rams aren’t there yet.
canadaramParticipantI find your elections way more stressful and exhausting than ours.
canadaramParticipantWow. The defense was the only thing that didn’t look terrible.
I’m starting to believe that unless the Rams have an elite defense Goff is not good enough to win them a Super Bowl. Yes, I am aware that the Rams have played in a Super Bowl with Goff as their starter, but since that game he has not proven that he can consistently handle good defenses. He might play well enough on occasion (e.g. last week vs. Chicago), but over the long hall good DCs seem to find ways to fluster him. I am certain that the Rams will not be making the playoffs this season. In fact, I’ll go one step further and confidently say that today was the first loss in what is about to be a five game losing streak.

canadaramParticipantGoff seems to have regressed a bit over the last two games. Missed some open receivers again. Not as sharp as he was in the first 5 games.
I was wondering if his miss to Brown in the first half was bad pass or miscommunication between Goff and Brown. I thought that it looked like Goff assumed that Brown was going to keep going instead of cutting off his route.
canadaramParticipantThe Rams blue-jersey-blue-pants uniforms may very well be the worst uniforms since the Swiss Guard:
YES!!
Regarding the game, I believe the Niners have enough weapons on offense to expose the Rams LBs in the short passing game. No idea what that will mean for the final result though.
canadaramParticipantHenderson seems to be living up to his potential now. Love him. I’ve said it before, but I can’t handle Sloman. I just don’t the mental fortitude to deal with his kicks.

He needs a nick-name. Maybe that would help him.

canadaramParticipantMonster Chiller Horror Theatre was always must-see-tv. 3D house of pancakes was Oscar worthy.

canadaramParticipantI lived for that show. I go back and watch clips on YouTube all the time. The clip in your post is blocked from playing in Canada for some reason, so I couldn’t watch it.
I always liked SCTV when I could get it. John Candy, etc.

canadaramParticipantIt is Thanksgiving weekend up here. The Rams are 3-7 over their last ten Canadian Thanksgiving games. You may think me unfair to go with the last ten seasons when McVay has only been here since 2017. To which I respond, McVay’s Rams are 1-2 on this weekend. As a result I’m giving the Rams a slightly greater than 30% chance of beating Washington on Sunday.
canadaramParticipantSomething’s gotta give with Sloman. I don’t have the coping skills to handle this version of him. Can he improve? Solid second half makes me feel good about the rest of the team.
canadaramParticipantIf I were to list my favorite ten movies, I suspect Boogie Nights might make the list.
Me too.
canadaramParticipantIt might be a trite term but that was a total team win in my eyes. Great to get a comfortable road win. The offense seems to have a wide range of options. On defense I would like to see more of the pressures turn into sacks. I hope Sloman can get it together, he looks shaky. The new uniforms and helmets still aren’t to growing on me. Winning in Buffalo will be tough. Consecutive long road trips have to be exhausting.
canadaramParticipantwv-ewe’s take on the uniforms:
———–
“Kind of anemic and the socks are stupid. Too bad. It was always about the uniforms.”Well put.
canadaramParticipantHappy for the win. Didn’t like the fourth quarter stress. Would like to see some more efficiency from the redzone offense. Finally, the win did not make those horrid uniforms grow on me.
canadaramParticipantThanks zn. I wondered if I had missed some big news on Hopkins. His athleticism for a TE is well documented but all the Rams offensive rookie talk I’ve seen has been about Akers and Jefferson. Excited to see them play. Barring injury it doesn’t seem like Hopkins will be on the game day roster too often this season, at least not early.
canadaramParticipantI see Bryce Hopkins mentioned in a tweet above, but I haven’t heard/read much about his performance during camp/scrimmages. Admittedly I haven’t been giving this off-season my usual level of attention. That said, is there any word on Hopkins? I see he’s low on the depth chart, but I expected that.

canadaramParticipantIf it saves even one life . . . why would anyone have a problem with it?
You wouldn’t believe the problems some claim to have with it. Or probably you would.
Another way to say that is that resistance to masks is just unbelievable.
It’s all over the place out there.
A buncha John Wayne wannabes telling us they don’t live in fear.

Lots of people not buying in up here either. I wear one whenever I buy groceries, and I am always in the minority.
