From this article: https://www.prideofdetroit.com/2020/5/16/21260949/nfl-teams-permitted-open-facilities-may-19-restrictions
the opening of team facilities comes with severe limitations to protect fairness across the league. Most notably, coaches are still not permitted to return to the facilities, ensuring that the workout program remains virtual. Additionally, the only players allowed to return to the facility are those undergoing medical treatment or doing physical rehabilitation.
So who does that leave? Nutritionist, doctors/coaches involved in the rehabilitation process, administrative staff, and equipment staff, among others

The NFL notified teams that they can begin to open their team facilities on Tuesday, May 19. However, the Rams and Chargers aren’t among organizations who will welcome staffers back because of restrictions that remain in place by Governor Gavin Newsom & County Health Departments.I’m told the Rams and Chargers are working on their re-opening plans so they are ready to go when they are given the green light to do so.
Orange County, which is where the Chargers’ facility is located, is among counties petitioning Governor Gavin Newsom for a variance that could allow facilities like the Chargers to open.

With NFL facilities starting to reopen tomorrow, I was told over the weekend that the thinking in the league right now is that coaches will not return until all facilities are open. Right now, approximately 10 can not reopen because of local stay-at-home laws.May 18, 2020 at 11:33 am #115068

The Rams are one of the only teams that has not yet announced the dates of their preseason games. Have to imagine thatâs because 3 games will be at SoFi Stadium and the 4th will be at Allegiant in VegasMay 19, 2020 at 4:51 pm #115096

1 Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs QB
This was an easy choice. He missed time last season, which hurt his MVP chances, but he will be right back in the race this year. He’s the best player in the league.2 Aaron Donald, Los Angeles Rams DE
He continues to be a force on the inside of the Rams defense, a pocket-pushing power player who makes it tough on offenses. His sack numbers went down last year, but his play wasn’t far off.…
26 Jalen Ramsey, Los Angeles Rams CB
He has the talent to be much higher on this list, but a bad situation in Jacksonville â some of it self-inflicted â led to a trade to the Rams during the 2019 season, which led to some adjusting on his part. I expect him to bounce back and play like a top 2 or 3 corner this season.97 Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams WR
He came back from a major knee injury in 2018 to catch 94 passes with 10 touchdowns.JUST MISSED: Robert Woods, WR, Los Angeles Rams

21. JARED GOFF, LOS ANGELES RAMS
30.4% completion percentage, 9.7 yards per attempt, 44.0 Passer Rating
Only Drew Brees and Jimmy Garoppolo (and Bridgewater if we move the sample size low enough) threw deep at a lower rate than Goff. Despite 662 dropbacks, Goff took a shot deep just 56 times (8.9%) and scored only one touchdown on those plays, despite having plenty to work with in terms of receiving talent. In his defense, it wasnât all Goff, as the Rams had one of the worst offensive lines in football, and Goff often just didnât have the time to let deep plays develop.May 20, 2020 at 9:07 pm #115135
znModeratorfrom Rams receiving corps ranked surprisingly low by PFF https://theramswire.usatoday.com/2020/05/20/nfl-rams-receiving-corps-pff-woods-kupp/
There are very few teams with better pass-catchers than the Ramsâ, but in the eyes of Pro Football Focusâ Ben Linsey, there are actually 14.
Linsey ranked every receiving corps (which includes running backs, receivers and tight ends) in the NFL and the Rams checked in shockingly low at No. 15. There are a lot of talented receiving corps in the NFL right now, but itâs hard to see how 14 teams are ahead of the Rams.
Hereâs Linseyâs breakdown of the Rams.
The Rams will have to replace Brandin Cooks with either Van Jefferson or Josh Reynolds next season, which is a hit to the offense. Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp is still a pretty nice combination at the top of the wide receiver depth chart, though, and both Gerald Everett and Tyler Higbee can pose a threat as receivers from the tight end position. Higbee really picked things up towards the end of last season â his 522 receiving yards over the last five weeks of the season were more than any other player in the NFL, and his 91.2 receiving grade over that span also sat near the top of the league. The big question for the Rams on offense is how well their offensive line can hold up for Jared Goff to get the ball out to those weapons.
