Per source, the DeMarcus Lawrence deal is 105 million /5years /65 million guaranteed

*More money in cash in year 1 than any non QB in history

*Guaranteed ApY number 1 in NFL history for non qb

DeMarcus Lawrence will get the most money in Year 1 for a defensive player ever, source says. He will beat Khalil Mack’s previous high-water mark of $31m. (I had tweeted $41m but the actual cash for Mack paid in the first league year was $31m. Corrected here.)

In five years these AAF bosses who left players holding the bill for hotels/travel/injuries will be talking about how proud they are of AAF alumni accomplishments in the NFL and no one will bat an eye

Outlined in our Signature Stats Spotlight, pass-blocking efficiency has been talked about since we at Pro Football Focus started tracking every player on every play of every game. Effectively measuring pressures allowed on a per-snap basis, here is how all 32 NFL teams stacked up last year in terms of PBE.

    11. LOS ANGELES RAMS
    2018 pass-blocking efficiency: 86.5

After a blazing hot start, the Rams offensive line came back down to earth over the second half of the year. They ended the regular season ranked 11th among teams with a pass-blocking efficiency of 86.5 after they allowed 13 sacks, 24 hits, and 116 hurries from their 617 passing plays.
