According to the Elias Sports Bureau, there are more undrafted players in the NFL right now than there are first- and second-rounders combined.

Undrafted free agents making big impact in NFL
Twenty percent of NFL starters came into the league as undrafted free agents. And last year, 37 percent of the undrafted players who signed ended up making NFL rosters.

well i believe that 1999 rams championship team had warner, fletcher, farr, and jenkins – all undrafted and all major contributors to that team. i’m sure there were more than that.

rams need to hit on a couple in order to get an edge on the other teams.

I don’t count Warner as a UDFA because he was already Green Bay’s UDFA in 94. I see him more as a low-market FA. That includes also Gruttadauria, Nutten, and McCollum.

But your point of course is a good one.

Calculated my way, with the Warner caveat,, it’s actually Jenkins, Fletcher, Farr, and Horne.
