vwvParticipantI dunno how they come back after a game like that Eagle game. I mean that was just an outright Alice’s Restaurant Massacre. A physical humiliation. A beat-down.
I got the impression that as the Eagles game wore on and the D was getting challenged physically, they began to “press”–get undisciplined trying to make plays. If you listen to the analysis from Rodrigue and others, they made mistakes and abandoned their gap discipline, which of course made things worse. Or, I guess, even worse. It was a regression because since the bye they had been tighter when it comes to that.
We’ll see how much they learned from that and if learning from it can improve them this year. But you can learn from that. IMO? No one who is competitive enough to play in the NFL just “quits” because of a loss.
Heck the 2021 Rams suffered an embarassing 31-10 loss against the 9ers in week 10, allowing 156 yards rushing while getting just 52 on their side, and throwing 2 INTs including a pick 6. That Rams team as you know won the super bowl. So they came back from that game. I doubt the super bowl is on the horizon this year but they can learn from a bad loss and come back better.
..Ok, but what about getting plum mad-dog mean?

Rams clinky-clunky season continues. It would not surprise me if they end up being the best team that does not make the playoffs. That was a HUGE loss.
I was worried about the OLine. You never know if players coming back that first game are gonna have the juice.
Rams defense is so encouraging though. They still need two or three players but that is doable for next year.

To be honest, for me, that’s the main one. Biden didn’t have charisma either and the millions of racists and sexists among Magas were the same in 2020, but Trump had a bad economy in 2020 so there was turnout for Biden.
As for the world ending, I have actual, real, and authoritative divine assurances that that won’t happen till after the Rams next super bowl win. So, things are fine.
I think high prices were the main one, too. Not the only one, but the main one.
Every Kamala ad on my internet leading up to the election was about that issue. But I suspect she was not believable. Biden seemed more believable. (I’m not saying “I” believed him)Maybe Covid helped Biden, too, and hurt Trump. All the chaos.
If the Dems can win the House back in two years, maybe the world wont end quite as quickly.
I mean how much damage can the Reps do in two years 🙂w
