They might let him go in the end, but, why? Next year is his last year.
You bring in a new qb and see what you have.
If they kept Saffold and Long they are going to keep Bradford.I think Bradford is a very good QB that just started to have an offense around him.
2 ACLs is a nasty bit of luck…but ZN is right, we own him for another year.
We draft a QB high and let them both duke it out…winner stays and so does the loser if Sam beats out the young QB and plays great..
we keep both cuz the QB will be very cheap…but we’ll have our bases covered.I want Sam…still do especially after watching him throw downfield to WRs that caught the ball. We were ready for a helluva fireworks show. We can still be successful. It’s a team game….and Sam is still a part of this team. He should re-negotiate his contract, but if he doesn’t do you think a QB hungry team would pay him 15mil + incentives to come to them??? I sure do.
Sam is head & shoulders better than most QBs out there. imo of course.Let’s keep Sam for his last year and draft a kid for cheap. I’ll bet Sam may even renegotiate for cheap too after this season and put much into incentives…or maybe not. LOl
I just really liked Sam finally throwing downfield like a freakin monster…
and Quick & Britt…out fighting the ball for the catch!!!"I should have been a pair of ragged claws...
Scuttling across the floors of silent seas."August 9, 2014 at 4:05 pm in reply to: Kellen Clemens looked very good for Chargers last night #3711SunTzu_vs_CamusParticipantI likes Clemons, but think that Hill is a BETTER passer and game manager.
When you watch Hill throw…just think Kurt Warner(imo) cuz Kurt had a weaker arm than both Hill or Clemons!!! LOL
But Warner got it done with decision making and accuracy. I suspect Hill is that same type of QB as Warner….not a great arm but gets it done with accuracy and decision-making.Although, I will say…I sure liked the Saint’s QB (Griffin) alot. He seemed to be a very good prospect and am heartened that Snead tried to sign him off their PS and recognizing promising talent in Ryan Griffin.
I loved Donald and his penetration was crazy…even when he didn’t know what to do!! Donlad got into the backfield SO FAST…he’s gonna be a joy to watch this year. I liked Westbrooks and MSam had some nice hustle plays. Our LBs looked a bit too excited, but I loved Gaines, Joyner, MoWilliams….even when they made mistakes…they were HUNTING in a big way. I like that!
But, my biggest surprise – for me personally, was how GOOD GRob looked at LT.
I was really nervous that he’d be a LG only and was too big…but he sure moved well at LT. imo
– and I am very happy bout that.
GRob wiped out the entire DL on one of the run plays where he down blocked and took 3 DL with him…just like in college!! LOL"I should have been a pair of ragged claws...

cuz THAT’s what I find is is more egregious during a game."I should have been a pair of ragged claws...

It’s all very exciting."I should have been a pair of ragged claws...

I think the Rams were one of the teams to pick Jimbo’s brain and even purchase this system..not sure tho.
Either way, the outcome on soft tissue injuries is a game-changer for the NFL. Period.
It’s HUGE!!!! If the NFL teams could somehow decrease “soft tissue” injuries…greatly…..
the games will be better because all the best players will be playing and not hurt on the bench!!!You got a great eye today for these articles….good job, bro!!!
Great reads……… & thanks for posting’ em."I should have been a pair of ragged claws...

I think Hill is really UP there in terms of pocket passing and was one of Martz’s favs
(iirc- though all his QBs were!! lol)I feel VERY comfortable & confident that Hill will be able to produce the passing aspect of this offense
– where KClemons could not. Thanks for reminding me of this fact. 😉
