JackPMillerParticipant
I like Refried beans. Just saying
JackPMillerParticipantI am not concerned for a anyone missing voluntary workouts. Would I like Foles to be there? Yes. But remember this is voluntary. If he misses training camp, then there would be an issue. OTAs means nothing to me. Lets wait for the start of training camp to see what happens. I would still keep him on the roster until final cuts. That is because other QBs get hurt, and Foles could be used a trade bait.
JackPMillerParticipantLove picking up Easley. Gives us depth at DT. Riht now, there are questions with the DE’s Hope is Coples going to fit? How healthy is Robert Quinn?
JackPMillerParticipantStill hung up on Trung? Rams have drafted worse in the first round since him.
We should have drafted Marvel Smith.
JackPMillerParticipantI would hold on to him, and the other QBs, meaning Keenum, and Mannion as well, til the final cuts. That means if we can’t make a trade by then. As we know injuries happen, and one of those three could become valuable. Just a thought.
JackPMillerParticipantTaylor Bertolet played HS football in PA, in face, he played in one of the local High Schools in Berks County. Always good for local products making it big.
JackPMillerParticipantIf it was possible, I would like to recoup at least a 3rd rounder for nextyear
JackPMillerParticipantBradford signed a two year deal. Bradford had to know, or should of known the Eagles were not looking at him as the future.
Plus, I feel Foles is worth a little more on the open market than Bradford. Foles is like a year and a half younger. Foles earns less money.
JackPMillerParticipantI would consider OLB. A name I would consider is Eric Striker of Oklahoma. He is considered a 4th round prospect. Jaylon Smith of Notre Dame could be possible as well. He could be a risk or reward guy.
JackPMillerParticipantWe start out 3 of our first 4 on the road, and finish with 3 of 4 at home. If somehow we can keep it at or better than .500 after week 12, then there would be some excitement.
JackPMillerParticipantWith Olgetree moving to the MLB spot, I would not be shocked if Myles Jack ends up being the pick, if he slides.
I agree they could go defense in round 1, especially DE or CB. But why would they spend a 1st round pick on DEPTH at LB? They have Barron (who cost them a pretty penny) and they have a 1st round pick at MLB (Ogletree) and they have a SLB (Ayers), and the way they play, the SLB is only on the field less than 50% of the time. Why then spend a 1st on a linebacker? They’re set at LB. They could use that 1st round pick on any number of things they actually DO need.
I counts on how their charts are. Myles Jack could be there if they feel somehow, Fisher and Snead had him higher value, or going higher than expected. Also, you don’t pass on a player, knowing it could be a strength. So, if Jack is there, and he is rated high on their draft boards, does not mean, they should or should not select him.
March 21, 2016 at 10:34 am in reply to: should Rams trade up for a qb? audio link, Colin Cowherd #40867JackPMillerParticipantI’m not sold on drafting a QB. I am not sure if we will be selecting one early as well. Shawn Manninon was drafted in the 3rd round. If we do draft a QB, don’t be shocked if we draft one in the later rounds, or even get one as an undrafted rookie QB.
March 18, 2016 at 10:32 am in reply to: Chris Long is signing a 1-year deal with the Patriots #40775JackPMillerParticipantNow watch the Patriots finish 7-9.
w
vNot happening. They have Bill Belichick coaching them, not Jeff Fisher
JackPMillerParticipantFor some reason, I see Chris Long in a Patriot uniform. But I would not be shocked if he ends up as a Raider also.
JackPMillerParticipantthey cut Long and Laurinitas and kept Foles???? WTF?
Foles could be on the trade block. Remember, there is rumor that the Eagles would like him back, and could be working on a deal, that could involve picks this year, maybe a 3rd rounder and a 2nd rounder nextyear
So the Rams would have to give the Eagles draft picks this year plus a 2nd and 3rd rounder next year to take Foles back?
Sounds fair…
LOL. We would get an extra 3rd this year, and a 2nd nextyear from the Eagles, to send Foles back. The new Head Coach really likes Foles.

February 10, 2016 at 10:58 am in reply to: 2016 mocks & rankings & general draft commentaries, thread 2 #38808JackPMillerParticipantI know we need help at WR, but no way I would pass on a stud like Shaq Lawson. I would be stunned if Fisher would pass on Lawson, if he was still on the board. As much as we love Robert Quinn, can you tell me he will be back 100%. If he can, it would be a big help to have Lawson and Quinn(if he can regain his form) as the future DEs.
JackPMillerParticipantFebruary 4, 2016 at 10:26 am in reply to: Rams & qbs in free agency (from RG3 to possibly Fitzpatrick) #38570JackPMillerParticipantI would not mind Peyton much. Is he what he was three years ago? No, but he is still better than most of the league. Since Fisher and his staff are not real good at developing QBs, Peyton could be the one help groom the our young QBs, even if it is one year. Peyton has no issue with that.
February 1, 2016 at 11:17 am in reply to: Rams rumored to be interested in trading up for number 1 pick #38468JackPMillerParticipantOK, let’s say this is true… who is the pick, the QB from Cal?
Shaq Lawson DE Clemson? Maybe another DT like A’Shawn Robinson of Alabama
JackPMillerParticipantI’m not as sold on Cook as most are. I feel he makes poor decisions. The throws he was making in college will not be there in the pros. I feel he is more of a number 2 guy, not a franchise guy. If it were me, I would wait til the 6th to draft a QB, Marquise Williams of North Carolina. To me, when you get to the 6th, 7th, or even getting undrafted guys, are like the same to me.
JackPMillerParticipantI would not mind Peyton Manning winning the Super Bowl to go out on top. But I like Cam as well, and I am someone who does not mind his endzone stuff and such. So screw the people who have issues with Cam. I say blame your D for letting them score in the first place.
JackPMillerParticipantThe proper name is called “Evil White Stuff.”
JackPMillerParticipantThey won’t get one. There is a rule that the NFL-CFl made that they leagues can not move into ones country or something like that. So, the only way St Louis can get a pro football tam is if some NFL team moves there
JackPMillerParticipantTo me, I would have preferred if the Rams stay in St Louis. I felt the Raiders were the team better for LA. I am a Rams fan no matter where they play, but I feel St. Louis is a great sports town, which is an amazing football town as well. Since the Rams are in LA, I prefer the Raiders to move to St. Louis. Also, they have better talent then the Rams do, especially a much better QB. Again, I am Rams fan no matter where they play, but it would have liked it better is they stayed in St. Louis.
JackPMillerParticipantNo way the Browns pass up on a QB. Not happening.
January 9, 2016 at 10:48 am in reply to: Bucs fire Lovie, Coughlin resigns, which naturally leads to Fisher discussion #36875JackPMillerParticipantI would go after Hue Jackson. I feel We need to get an Offensive coach. Someone that can utilize the talent we have. Foles is not that bad, look at his time in Philly, especially a few years ago. He needs proper coaching, and Fisher is not it.
January 8, 2016 at 10:31 am in reply to: Bucs fire Lovie, Coughlin resigns, which naturally leads to Fisher discussion #36819JackPMillerParticipantThe Bucs are an embarrassment. Lovie should have gotten a third year. Even worse, Jeff Fisher, who should be fired, is still the Head Coach.
My bet is that Fisher works out just fine this year.
Unless of course he once more has to deal with both a qb problem and OL issues (including youth and injuries). Cause those were the real cause of the record. IMO scapegoating the coach for that isn’t good football business.
January 7, 2016 at 11:58 am in reply to: Bucs fire Lovie, Coughlin resigns, which naturally leads to Fisher discussion #36753JackPMillerParticipantThe Bucs are an embarrassment. Lovie should have gotten a third year. Even worse, Jeff Fisher, who should be fired, is still the Head Coach.
JackPMillerParticipantFisher has had four losing seasons in his 4 years here. No Head Coach even got a fourth year, after having a losing record their first three years. This team has problems of discipline all 4 years. Too many penalties and such. This team needs to go to a different direction, and one that is more of an Offensive Head Coach. There is too much talent on offense, and it is getting wasted. Guys like Adam Gase, Darrell Bevell, Hue Jackson are out there. Lets get one of them.
