I’m not insulting Fisher saying I feel that Spags is equal. He was a rookie Head Coach, and was one win away from a playoff berth. Not only a playoff berth, but a division title. That was with a rookie QB. That there, including an 8-8 year got me saying equal. Fisher has not been equal.

The way you coach has a lot to do with the injuries. So they are on Fisher as well. I watched First Take and saw the guy nicknamed stink, but he has won a a couple of Super Bowls in Washington, and Denver with John Elway. So he should know. He admitted the way a coach trains his players in training camp, preseason, and practice, is tied to injuries. Whatever Fisher and his staff are doing, they should be changing, because these injuries should not be happening.

That’s bs Jack. Some guy talking at random on some show has no direct bearing on the Rams specific situation. It’s just drawing up one random comment from one place about one thing and trying to act like it applies specifically to the Rams somehow.

Plus of course qb and OL injuries go way back for the Rams and in fact cover 5 coaches (counting Haslett), 4 GMs, and 3 owners. So unless the logo caused all those injured OLs I don’t think you have much of a case. It was just statistically random.

It all comes back to the coaching, along with the strength and conditioning as well.

Hey Mr. Stan, how about calling a national network like ESPN, and get really grilled, by someone. Namely me. I dare you. I have no problems asking the tough questions. But we know you skurred. Aren’t you? I’m not a lackey interviewer who will ask lame questions. Do it. We all dare you.

I may try that ifvwe have a Zombie Apocalypse. I mean, isolate a zombie and kill it, rip its guts out, rub it over me, and pour it’s goo from its inside all over my body to see if I could walk through a hoard of zombies like the character Nick from Fear of the Walking Dead. Just saying.

Spags in his first season took a team one game from the playoffs with a rookie QB. Brooks went 8-8. Fisher has never made it 8-8, or got close to a playoff spot. Fisher’s seasons were over near the middle of the year.

I am liking the show, Fear of the Walking Dead. What I learned is if you can isolate a zombie, kill it, rip its guts out rub it all over you, including its goo, you can walk through a hoarder if zombies without getting eaten. I saw that watching that from the character Nick.

Pence was in our city yesterday–stopped at a famous local bar.

The only one from the Clinton side we’ve seen so far is Tim Kaine’s wife.

Right now things look good for her in Pennsylvania but I really don’t know what to expect. Are there people who are saying they won’t vote for Trump publicly but who will do it when inside the voting booth?

Nothing can be taken for granted.

I saw that to. The people at the Peanut Bar was pretty shocked.

Nine starters went down this year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQ1BCEEntbs

Again, can’t use injuries as an excuse.

Fisher has been here for 5 years, it has not worked. It is time for a change, and to get a new voice. I have not seen any improvement from this team. We are still no where near a .500 type team, which is embarrassing. At this stage we should be contending for a Super Bowl, not 8-8.

Jack, how can you be sure the Rams aren’t even a 0.500 team when they are currently a 0.600 team (3-2)? They could be 5-2 at the bye.

We may be now, but will we be at the end of the season? That is something I doubt.

Fisher has been here for 5 years, it has not worked.

And how many of those years did he have both a starting caliber qb and a relatively healthy OL?

Actually it’s games not years. And I can count them. If you count Foles 1st 4 games as a starting caliber qb (and not a meltdown qb destined to be benched and cut) then it’s exactly 19 out of 64 games.

I usually get the “all teams have injuries” mantra at this point, but actually, it’s not true that all teams cope with having to start back-up qbs AND having to repair damaged OLs at the same time.

I always ask, can you think of any teams that thrived under those conditions? No one has ever given an answer that stood up. So you either factor that in or you don’t. I always will.

And this year’s story is yet to be written.

See this is why I don’t have much in the way of Fisher Wars energy. I just basically end up repeating myself.

It is called coaching. If you have good coaches, you can overcome that stuff. Coaches know how to figure these things out, and Fisher has not. Belechick does, Tomlin does, Kubiak does, so why can’t Fisher.

Need to stop with the injury excuse. The Pats won without Tom Brady, even though it was it was not injury but suspension. Still with two backups, they went 3-1. Heck, Fisher blamed the fans for the failed faked punt

Rams went 3-1 with a backup too…. Case is not a starter, he’s a been a fill in his entire career, including this season.

Only 8 teams have a better record than the Rams do this season….at this point in time with Case Keenum as the helm…. I’ll take it.

I’m losing my patience with Fisher too… but I think the Rams can win in Detroit and beat the G-Men in the UK.

Rams need to start converting TDs in the redzone ……. too many drives went to waste against the Bills last Sunday…..

One problem I have, is I would like to see more play action. Teams are loading the box,and Lance Kendricks is a pretty good receiver from the TE spot. To me, use more of Kendricks, and things will open up for Gurley.

Be reasonable. Rams won without Trent Green because they had a young veteran back-up.

That is not the same as wiping out 3/4ths of an entire DL…a DL unit that is key to the Rams success.

Having a decent back-up qb v. 3 injured starting defensive linemen?

Think. Wrecking an entire key unit is bad for a football team. Saying that is not “making excuses.” It’s acknowledging reality.

That is why the team has coaches, they need to be coached up. Put in the right spots. New England has this thing called next man up, we have, oops, we are in trouble. As I have said, Fisher does not deserve an extension. Any other coach with his record, no matter the situation, would have been fired long ago. No owner wants to hear, injuries. If it were any other owner, Jeff Fisher would have been fired 3 years ago. You know it.

I’m going on the rumor of getting a 3rd and 4th round comp picks.

They traded the 3rd round comp pick as part of the deal with the Titans to get Goff.

I’m looking at the rumored 3rd round comp pick we get for Janoris. I know the deal, it is our regular 3rd round pick. No comp pick.

The league is taking out the fun. Throwing flags on all types endzone celebrations. The so called targeting calls to try and make the game safe. Old school fans miss the hard hits. I can understand the concussion protocol, but it is frustrating when a DB, or LB bends down to hit a WR, RB, or TE, but that player then changes his body, and boom, you get the flag for hitting a defenseless player, then gets fined big money.

I was going to ask something similar. Wondering if the Rams come back down to earth, or remain on cloud nine? I think that is the saying in some way.

I got to say no. I predicted the Cardinals would win the Superbowl before the season started, and got to stick with them as a professional analysis. As a fan, I root for the Rams. So, I’m one messed up person. Just to let you know.

I know he had two TDs yesterday, but still no 100 yard game. No big TD runs of 20+. Just like a Johnny Gill song, “I’m Still Waiting.”

He got going yesterday in the 2nd half. You could see it, it was there.

But since it was only a half it doesn’t register as a 100 yards.

But if you saw him in the 2nd half…it WAS there. He was up to full steam. He was getting the yards.

Still waiting for those long runs of 20+. We still have not got that yet.

“Does Jeff Fisher have pictures of you?”

You know. That kind of thing.

There are those rumors that Fisher has pictures of Kronke with Farrah Fawcett. This was when they had an affair back in the 70s. It is just a rumor.

I would expect that pictures of anybody with Farrah Fawcett would improve the man’s standing, not lead to problems.

Remember, his wife is a multi billionaire. Her dad is the owner of Wal-Mart. I believe there is a prenuptial agreement. Even though he does well for himself financially, again, the wife is a billionaire.
