JackPMillerParticipant
This is the kind of personnel/coaching decision that makes the difference between a wildcard team or a losing team, etc.
These ‘nuts and bolts’ decisions. They are NOT ‘no brainers’. This coaching staff has to get this right. The Center decision. And its not an easy decision, i bet. Its not like starting Goff or Quinn or somethin.
These are the kinds decisons that will tell us a lot about this new organization.
The WR decisons are the same thing, to me.w
vWe know you are still upset about our Rams not solving the Long Snapper situation.
JackPMillerParticipantToth was signed to the 9ers roster as a UDFA.
Really? I had not seen that. You sure?
Never mind. I saw him linked to the 9ers, which made me think they signed Toth. Sorry for my mistake.
JackPMillerParticipantwhat happened with jon toth? i’m guessing he wasn’t offered a contract?
Toth was signed to the 9ers roster as a UDFA.
JackPMillerParticipantI know it looks like that.
Maybe Rhaney steps up some, maybe Eldrenkamp comes through.
I’m hoping your right, and somehow Kroner can work magic, but this is year one, and I can not see it.
JackPMillerParticipantI look at it, if Sullivan goes down, we are screwed. Blythe may or may not make the roster, but he was cut from the Colts, and their OLine was just as bad as ours. That says a lot about Blythe. Not real good.
JackPMillerParticipantLet’s hope Sullivan can stay healthy, because we have nothing behind him, if he get hurts.
May 12, 2017 at 10:11 am in reply to: All or Nothing: A Season with the Los Angeles Rams – Official Trailer #68687JackPMillerParticipantI believe this is the theme song for the show as well.
JackPMillerParticipantNext year we have to draft a LT and a Center. Those are glaring needs. Orlasvsky I would have been OK with, but we sign a guy who played Center that no one else wanted. I know Rhaney is happy that he has no competition for his backup spot.
JackPMillerParticipantWe had three good picks, the rest, not so good. Kupp, and Reynolds are pretty decent WRs, and I like Tanzel Smart. Other than that, we reached for a TE, and a Safety. Did not draft Center, which we desperately needed, CB was a strength in this draft and we came out with nothing. Have to give this draft a solid D+ for the whole draft.
JackPMillerParticipantWasted pick. We desperately need to draft a Center, and we drafted a Full Back instead? If Sullivan goes down, we are screwed.
JackPMillerParticipantThey say he’s not a hard hitter. I don’t care as long as he can tackle and make plays. The “knock-em-out” guys can go play for Williams in Cleveland. I just want smart players who get the job done. This guy seems to fit that mold.
He is more of a cover saftie not a strong tackler. Johnson is better in special teams coverage.
JackPMillerParticipantRams at 37, I have taking JuJu Smith and Bengals at 41, takes Taco Charlton.
JackPMillerParticipantThat is weird. I had us taking JuJu Smith in the 2nd round. I’m at the library, and not near my paper, I probably forgot to type in the name.
JackPMillerParticipantWhere am I at? I do 7 rounds, these wimps don’t go past 3.
JackPMillerParticipant3-0 is a real possibility. No way we we beat the Cowboys this year in Dallas.
April 18, 2017 at 9:31 pm in reply to: Benoit audio: Did the Hollywood lifestyle affect Gurley? #67609JackPMillerParticipantI talked about that last year. That was before preseason. The fear of the commercials Gurley was doing, plus the team moving to LA could have an affect in his head.
JackPMillerParticipantFor us fans, it has been a 13 year process so far.
JackPMillerParticipantPeople will see him again in the ring, maybe with the WWE, or something like that.
JackPMillerParticipantWhat are your thoughts if Havenstein playing RG, and GRob to RT? Do you like it? Who would your pick with the 2nd round pick? Tell us the truth.
JackPMillerParticipantNow let’s see if we can get the light saber, a death star, flying cars, etc. Let us not forget the original theme from the movie Star Wars as well. Just saying.
JackPMillerParticipantWe just signed LB Carlos Thompson days ago as well.
April 8, 2017 at 8:41 am in reply to: Browns wide receiver Kenny Britt trash-talking the Rams #67114JackPMillerParticipantI’m not sure that sounds like trash talking to me.I bet he … is upset that Tavon is getting paid more. I other words, Britt may be jealous of Austin, and his big contract. Just my guess.
And saying that out loud….is, trash talking.
Not cool to make it public
Agreed.
.
Still not trash talking to me. Just someone that is upset and jealous that is making it known. Again, THAT IS NOT TRASH TALKING.
April 7, 2017 at 8:31 pm in reply to: Browns wide receiver Kenny Britt trash-talking the Rams #67096JackPMillerParticipantI’m not sure that sounds like trash talking to me. He may feel betrayed, but it’s business. Players come and go. I bet he and Tavon were never close, and is upset that Tavon is getting paid more. I other words, Britt may be jealous of Austin, and his big contract. Just my guess.
JackPMillerParticipantI think the Yanks are gonna surprise this year….if they get just a little starting pitching.
Of course….I may be a little biased.
We will see. Surprises happen a lot in sports, especially in MLB. Who saus my Phillies can’t shock the World, and win the World Series, but I have to be realistic and go by as if I was a professional making predictions.
March 26, 2017 at 9:21 am in reply to: does anyone care one way or another about the Chargers going to LA? #66690JackPMillerParticipantBill Plashke(sp.) of the LA Times wrote an article saying to the Chargers, “We, don’t want you.” How is that for the Chargers welcoming committee? They didn’t get slot of fanfare either waiting for them in LA.
JackPMillerParticipantif he’s healthy, could be a decent signing.
But can you that is his back? The Center position has to snap the ball, and block. I believe Sullivan would be a bad signing. I would rather draft Center early. Say out first pick, which is the 2nd round. My pick, Pat Elflein of Ohio State.
JackPMillerParticipantI want us to draft a Center with our 2nd round pick. Pat Elflein of Ohio State. He is my pick. Not a glamour pick, but a need pick. Build the Online I say.
JackPMillerParticipantI believe Lance Dunbar will make the list, after this season.
JackPMillerParticipantI wonder how many posters on this board hate Kaepernick? I don’t. Only issue I had with him is he did not vote, and admitted it. But taking a stand, even if it’s that way doesn’t bother me. I respect it.
JackPMillerParticipantI want us to draft a Center with our 2nd round pick. My wish is for Pat Elflein of Ohio State. That is a way to make a statement. Building the OLine with a young guy.
