January 13, 2018 at 8:27 pm in reply to: off-season…who goes, who stays, what positions should be drafted #80204JackPMillerParticipant
they need to focus on defense this offseason. i question tagging watkins.
not sure if they actually have or not but his career production suggests they shouldn’t be doing that.
i’d try to sign him for a couple years for a lot less money.
let him walk if he doesn’t like it. spend all my cap space on trying to bring back my defensive players who actually have performed.
It is not about the franchise. That doesn’t bother me. Both the the team and Watkins hopefully can come to a reasonable agreement, that helps us sign the players. As much as I like Quinn and Barron, we still have to resign John Sullivan, Jake McQuaide, Derrick Carrier, and a bunch of depth from last year’s team. Alot of our money is going to go to Aaron Donald, who wants like 5 years,$120 million, and $80 million guaranteed. Then we have to sign Lamarcus Joyner on top.
JackPMillerParticipantDang. I almost thought Trump was going to give all Americans military software for free. It will be pre-loaded on new home computers and laptops. Plus, if an American wants to, they have access to the button. That means, send a nuke to wherever they want.

JackPMillerParticipantCap space, and possibly if the Rams do draft an LT, and he could play at LG for a season.
They don’t need cap space. Not in that kind of desperate way anyway.
Not just cap space, but looking at the possibility of drafting a LT at pick 23. The rookie could start at LG for a season or two, before he is ready to take over at LT. I am high on Martinas Rankin of Mississippi State.
JackPMillerParticipantHow much would it save us, if they release Saffold? I would not be shocked if they would draft a future LOT. Just put him at OG for a year or two.
Why would you release the best LG in the league?
Cap space, and possibly if the Rams do draft an LT, and he could play at LG for a season.
JackPMillerParticipantI would like to draft a Left Tackle. Martinas Rankin of Mississippi State, with our first round pick.
I would like to go after Kyle Fuller CB of the Bears in free agency.
There are some really good pass rushers in the 3rd round.

January 6, 2018 at 2:16 pm in reply to: Brady asked Kraft to make BB trade Garoppolo? Brady-Kraft-Belichick era may end? #80005JackPMillerParticipantThis soon spells the end of the Patriots run. My wish, we meet them in the Super Bowl, beat them and we are the ones to end their run.
JackPMillerParticipantWho will be his replacement?
January 4, 2018 at 6:40 pm in reply to: Informal poll…express yourself, how does it feel to have Rams games in January #79928JackPMillerParticipantWould like it better if our Rams were going to be playing in February. Just saying.
JackPMillerParticipantHow do you see the other wild card playoff games?
JackPMillerParticipantI hope this post gets changed to can we beat the Falcons? Playing the defending NFC Champions in the wild card round. A little nervous. Who covers Julio? Who covers Sanu? Then, you got their RBs as well.
JackPMillerParticipantSince we are playing are backups, I have it, 9ers 24- Rams 20.
December 30, 2017 at 3:12 pm in reply to: Eagles Fans Are Convinced Rams Are Tanking To Play Them #79779JackPMillerParticipant1989. Maybe, I might of got it flip flopped, but I could of sworn, we beat the Giants, then the Eagles, then lost to the 9ers. I’m getting old. I’m losing my memory, so I can’t remember things like I used to.
December 30, 2017 at 2:35 pm in reply to: Eagles Fans Are Convinced Rams Are Tanking To Play Them #79777JackPMillerParticipantQuestion, let’s say we beat play Philadelphia and beat them in the playoffs. I believe history has shown, that, or it feels like when we beat the Eagles in the playoffs, we seem to lose the next playoff game.
December 30, 2017 at 9:20 am in reply to: Eagles Fans Are Convinced Rams Are Tanking To Play Them #79757JackPMillerParticipantI live in Eagle country per say. The fans don’t care. The fans here tell me, they did play their best game, and should have blown us out. The fans say Nick Foles is far superior to Jared Goff. Don’t believe me, come to Reading, which is outside of Philadelphia, and if you count the suburbs, we have over 140,000 people here.
JackPMillerParticipantThis is how I feel it will go.
Offensive rookie of the Year – Alvin Kamara RB New Orleans Saints
Defensive Rookie of the Year – Marshawn Latimore CB New Orleans Saints
Defensive Player of the Year – Calais Campbell DL Jacksonville Jaguars
Comeback Player of the Year aka Most Improved – Todd Gurley LA Rams
Offensive Player of the Year – Todd Gurley LA Rams
MVP – Todd Gurley RB LA Rams
Coach of the Year – Doug Pederson Philadelphia Eagles
Executive of the Year – Les Snead LA Rams
How does Campbell beat out Donald?
..
Just a guy feeling.
JackPMillerParticipantThree ways to look at this.
1. What if Mannion gets injured. Who is his backup?
2. What if Mannion sucks so bad that the fans would be calling for my cat Bertha to take over the QB duties?
3. What if Mannion looks so amazing in this game that he throws for over 400 yards, 5TDs, 0INTs, in this game. Wondering if we could get a 3rd and a 4th round from a team for that performance.

JackPMillerParticipantI know the NFL has a regular season game in China. Not sure if it’s next year or not. Not sure who are the teams either. If correct, I believe we were one of the teams to play in that China game.
JackPMillerParticipantIf somehow by chance we meet the Saints in the NFC title game, it will be at their place. The Saints are much better at home than on the road.
December 25, 2017 at 7:36 pm in reply to: Should the Rams rest their starters against the 9ers? #79551JackPMillerParticipantSaints need to win to win the division. If they beat the Buccaneers, then it counts do we want the 3rd or 4th seed? If we win, we get to the 3rd seed, and if we can get by, and upset the Vikings, and if the Saints-Panthers winner upsets the Eagles, then the NFC title game is in the LA Coliseum. Just saying.
JackPMillerParticipantI believe he maybe hibernating. Doesn’t Agamemnon do that this time of year? Then we will see him I’m the beginning of 2018
JackPMillerParticipantIn order for that to happen, we have to beat the 9ers, the the Saints beat the Buccaneers, the Panthers beat the Falcons and the Seahawks beat the Cardinals, again all that must happen.
JackPMillerParticipantwell regardless they clinched a home playoff game.
i guess it’ll be important in determining who the opponent will be.
If we get the 3rd seed, we play Atlanta or Seattle. If we lose and get the 4th seed, we will play New Orleans, or Carolina.
JackPMillerParticipantdo they? rams just sent out emails for the wild card game. i thought they clinched the third seed?
if so, i’d sit all the starters.
i mean i hate the niners, but i also don’t want to see any injuries.
The Panthers and Saints are 11-4 as well.
JackPMillerParticipantFickin had some nerves early, which he missed the extra extra point and field goal, but Fickin settled down and was OK. The Defense had some issues. Not sure who missed his blocking assignment, when Goff got sacked, for the Titans going up 10-6. As a coach, I’d give him a tongue lashing like he never heard before.
December 24, 2017 at 12:10 pm in reply to: top FAs for 2018…not that the Rams can afford any but still #79407JackPMillerParticipantAlshon Jeffrey signed a 4 year extension in Philadelphia. One player I kind of like, and fits what we do, that is Kyle Fuller CB Chicago Bears. I’d give give him a 4 year, $24 million deal with $10 million guaranteed.
JackPMillerParticipantTo me this is more of a ‘statement’ game than the Seahawk game. (The Seahawks were so crippled i just totally dismiss that game.)
The Titans are a winning, desperate team, playing at home. This is the kind of December game, teams like Pitt and New England WIN. Its usually close — but they find a way to win in the fourth quarter.
If a Field Goal gets blocked I’m going to complain about picking a kicker who relies on a ‘low trajectory’.
Win this one, and they can have a bye against the 49ers.
w
vWe still need to beat the 9ers for that 3rd seed. Unless both the Saints and Panthers lose. If something shocking happens, the Vikings lose to the Packers and Bears, and the Panthers lose one of their two remaining games, we can get a first round bye, by winning our last two games.
JackPMillerParticipantWinter Solstice until Summer Solstice: 365 / 2. So 182.5 days.
On a bright note, the days will get longer from now until then…
Sure, you have to put a damper on things. Damn you.
JackPMillerParticipantMy area has Falcons at Saints. So it it is red zone channel for me. My apartment building does not allow DirecTv. Which forced me to get rid of it, and Sunday Ticket. Ugh.
